Increasing professional nurses' resilience is better than recruiting new nurses from an economic perspective. The research analyzed the effect of compensation and carrier development on job satisfaction and the impact on nurses' turnover intention in a private hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative research design with the cross-sectional approach was used. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The samples consisted of 47 nurses who made a self-reported by filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis used Partial Least Square. The study found that compensation and career development had direct and significant effects on Turnover Intention. Moreover, compensation and career development also had indirect and significant Turnover Intention effects through job satisfaction as the intervening variable.

This research method is quantitative, using Simple Random Sampling for its sampling technique. There were 60 employees as samples”the data collected by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The statistical analysis used in this study was descriptive analysis and data analysis by utilizing Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 as the tool and Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) software. The result shows that work stress has a negative and significant influence on job satisfaction. Work stress will result in a decrease in job satisfaction felt by employees. As well as social support did not moderate the relationship between work stress and job satisfaction. Social support does not decrease the impact of work stress on job satisfaction that occur within the company. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions through risk taking, self-efficacy, and being proactive during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII majoring in office governance automation who took lessons on creative products and entrepreneurship at SMKN 1 Surabaya using 188 respondents with simple random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results obtained in this study are entrepreneurship education has no significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, risk taking as a mediation has no significant effect between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intentions, self-efficacy is able to significantly mediate the effect of entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial intentions, proactive is not able to significantly mediate the effect of education entrepreneurship to entrepreneurial intentions. The limitation of this study is that the proposed model was only tested in SMKN 1 Surabaya, students of class XI and XII majoring in office governance automation. Frequent turnover of employees began from the last century, increased further with the inception of turnover-prone millennial employees and is likely to continue in the future. This study used expectation–confirmation theory and Herzberg’s two-factor theory as the underpinning theory. Its calibrated factors such as transformational leadership, stress reduction, and compensation and rewards that affect employee retention mediating through job embeddedness. A simple random sampling technique was utilized while selecting the respondents from millennial employees in private sectors. For developing the model, Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) was applied for path modelling, measurement models as well as for bootstrapping while testing the hypotheses. The study found that all these factors have got a significant positive relationship as predicted. This study has got numerous contributions, which are beneficial for all stakeholders of private industries. Although the enormous studies have been carried out in the Western context, the problem of frequent millennial turnover remains unresolved both in the West and in non-Western context. Practically, the study will be helpful for all against the frequent turnover and its losses. The paucity of studies on transformational leadership, stress reduction, compensation and rewards, and the retention of millennial employees in a developing country’s context made this research more significant and relevant. The mediating role of job embeddedness was also found to be significant in this relationship. Finally, the study was found to have implications for all stakeholders and future researchers.
