This type of research was observational analytic with cross sectional approach where the population was all nurses in the inpatient ward of Sembiring General Hospital with a sample size 101 respondents were taken using proportional random sampling technique. Based on the results of the study it was found that from the variables of leadership, work performance, work promotion, incentives, working conditions, work relationships, and workload results obtained workload variables that were significantly related to the performance of nurses in the inpatient ward of Sembiring General Hospital with a value (p -value 0,004) with PR 1,698 (95% CI: 1,186-2,429) has a significant effect on the performance of nurses in the Inpatient Room of the Sembiring General Hospital. Based on the results of the logistic regression test, the most dominant variable was workload with a value (p-value 0.020) and Exp value (B) 2.939 (95%; CI: 1.185-7.291). It is recommended to the Head of the Sembiring General Hospital to pay more attention to the arrangements of nurses' work shifts, nurses' work rotations, job description job descriptions that are in accordance with the competencies and timeliness of nurses' entry and return from work so that in carrying out their work nurses can work effectively.

Data were collected using a Client Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ-8). Both bivariate and multivariate ordinal logistic regression analyses were used. Variables with p value <0.05 at multivariate analysis were considered statistically significant.ResultsA total of 589 participants were enrolled with a response rate of 98.2%. In regard to the magnitude of patient satisfaction, 50.3% (95% CI 46.0 to 54.2) were highly satisfied, 31.0% (95% CI 27.2 to 34.8) were satisfied, and 18.7% (95% CI 15.4 to 22.1) were dissatisfied. Male sex (adjusted OR (AOR) 2.30, 95% CI 1.57 to 3.36), inability to read and write (AOR 2.23, 95% CI 1.10 to 4.66), being unemployed (AOR 1.69, 95% CI 1.15 to 2.47), obtaining services for free (AOR 1.57, 95% CI 1.11 to 2.22), and availability of medication (AOR 1.62, 95% CI 1.13 to 2.23) were significantly associated with patient satisfaction.ConclusionsThe study showed that further improvements in patient satisfaction are required. Male sex, inability to read and write, being unemployed, obtaining services free of charge, and availability of medication were significantly associated with patient satisfaction. In health service, nurses are at the forefront of providing health care, if the nurses don’t provide the care and not accompanied by EPEEP implementation (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) it will have an impact on decreasing client satisfaction. From the results of the preliminary survey the nurses have not done EPEEP implementation method (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) properly. And the achievement of patient satisfaction in the pandoria room of Awal Bros Batam Hospital from the results of satisfaction survey in September 2018, very satisfied category was 46%, satisfied category was 54% and less satisfied category was 2%. Therefore , it is necessary to implement EPEEP (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) in providing services to clients. This study aimed to determine the Relation between EPEEP Implementation Methods (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) With Patient Satisfaction at Pandoria Inpatient Awa Bros Batam in 2019. This type of research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach, 129 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained by observation sheets on nurses about EPEEP implementation (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) and provide satisfaction questionnaires to clients. The study was conducted in February until March 2019 in the Pandoria room. Analysis of the data used Chi square. There was a relationship between EPEEP implementation method (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) with patient satisfaction and with nurses inpatient at Pandoria Awal Bros Batam Hospital, and the p-value was 0.00 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that the implementation of EPEEP (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) can affect client satisfaction. Suggestions for future researchers can conduct research related to how long the nurse responds if there are patients who call or press the bell (Patient Calls) and for the Home Pain as an input to perform research related to nurse daily activity, because Pandoria Room compared to other inpatient rooms was the room with the highest number of patients and the highest mobile patients.
