The government has committed to build a power plant of 35,000 Megawatts (MW) in stages by providing infrastructure in the form of transmission, substations and generating sources. One of the transmissions that can function to distribute from the generator source to the load centers is the 150 kV High Voltage Air Line (SUTT) transmission. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Displacement generated by the Garmin 78s GPS Tool against the Total Station Measurement Data. SUTT 150 kV Amuntai - Tamiang Layang consists of 120 tower points along the transmission line and tower points using Garmin 78s GPS to determine the position of the Total Station data. Position errors in the search for tower points can occur, so the analysis method uses descriptive statistics to find out the real position error on the average of the two coordinate points using Total Station and Garmin 78s GPS. Total Station is a tool used to project tower points. Based on the results of the study, the coordinate position error generated from the 120 tower points is 427.57 meters and the average calibration error is 0.23 (23%) on a weighted average of 3.56 meters. Keywords: displacement; total station; GPS Garmin 78s.

Perception of the benefits received by the community as compensation for paying taxes is one of the factors that influence the discipline of society in paying taxes. Thus the purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the effect of perceptions on the benefits received from paying taxes on discipline in paying taxes in Jakarta. The population in this study were individual taxpayers who work as lecturers on two campuses located in Jakarta. The number of respondents involved in the study was 56 people. The analysis method used is descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that the perception of the benefits of paying taxes will affect the willingness of the community (especially taxpayers) to pay taxes on time. So that in increasing the discipline of society, especially taxpayers, the Government needs to provide concrete examples of development that directly impact and can be felt by the community.

Though difficult to ascertain because faith based organizations (FBOs) might keep a low profile, be confused with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs), or survey respondents may not know the nature of facilities attended to, these organizations have a long presence in teaching health personnel and delivering health services in many rural and remote populations in the developing world. It is argued that their large networks, logistics agreements with governments, and mission-driven stance brings them closer to the communities they serve, and their services believed of higher quality than average. Kenya has a long history of established FBOs substantial recent health investment by the government. We aimed to find the quantitative and qualitative contributions of FBOs by analyzing two recent data sources: the live web-based nationwide Master Health Facility List, and the 2010 nationwide Service Provision Assessment (SPA) survey. Using this information, we found that FBOs contribute to 11% of all health facilities’ presence in the country, doubling to 23% of all available beds, indicating their relative strength in owning mid-level hospitals around the country. We also constructed an index of readiness as a weighted average from services offered, good management practices and availability of medicines and commodities for 17 items assessed during the SPA survey. We found that FBOs topped the list of managing authorities, with 70 percent of health facility readiness, followed closely by the government at 69 percent, NGOs at 61 percent and lastly a distant private for profit sector at 50 percent. These results seem to indicate that FBOs continue to contribute to an important proportion of health care coverage in Kenya, and that they do so with a relatively high quality of care among all actors. It would be of interest to replicate the analysis with similar databases for other countries in the developing world.

Individual Taxpayers (WPOP) experience problems every year due to difficulties in filling out SPT. The Directorate General of Taxes issued a new policy in providing easy Notification Services (SPT) using online systems namely e-Filling and e-SPT. The policy taken by the government turned out that there were still many obstacles faced by the KPP Pratama Ponorogo Tax Office regarding ponorogo's lack of understanding related to filling out SPT manually or online using e-SPT and e-Felling. So that this certainly can make taxpayers object to the submission of Annual Tax Returns, especially in terms of calculating the tax payable which must be calculated on its own. Data collection is done by using primary data in the form of questionnaires. The samples processed in this study were 100 respondents who were distributed to individual taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Ponorogo. Data analysis method uses validity test and reliability test, hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the awareness of taxpayers, taxpayer intentions, taxpayer attitudes, subjective norms, behavioral control and ease of tax return filling process affect Tax Compliance (tax compliance) submission of Annual Tax Returns. This is because taxpayers know, understand and implement taxation provisions correctly and voluntarily so as to increase taxpayer compliance in fulfilling their obligations and are willing to report taxes with their own awareness.

The aim of this study is to investigate the factors influencing the entrepreneurial success of rural women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. Non-probability sampling specifically convenience sampling is used to draw the sample and data is collected using the self-administered survey. Regression analysis and descriptive statistics are used to analyze the data. The study discloses that motivational factors, government policy and financial support have significant influence on the rural women entrepreneurial success in Bangladesh. Due to lack of suitable training and proper development as well as ICT knowledge, the rural women of Bangladesh could not accomplish the achievement. Half of the total populations of Bangladesh are female and most of them live in rural areas. Therefore, the government and the policymakers in Bangladesh should develop the potential of rural women entrepreneurs by providing development facilities, proper training, and ICT knowledge.

Positioning systems are used to determine position coordinates in navigation (air, land and marine). The accuracy of an object’s position is described by the position error and a statistical analysis can determine its measures, which usually include: Root Mean Square (RMS), twice the Distance Root Mean Square (2DRMS), Circular Error Probable (CEP) and Spherical Probable Error (SEP). It is commonly assumed in navigation that position errors are random and that their distribution are consistent with the normal distribution. This assumption is based on the popularity of the Gauss distribution in science, the simplicity of calculating RMS values for 68% and 95% probabilities, as well as the intuitive perception of randomness in the statistics which this distribution reflects. It should be noted, however, that the necessary conditions for a random variable to be normally distributed include the independence of measurements and identical conditions of their realisation, which is not the case in the iterative method of determining successive positions, the filtration of coordinates or the dependence of the position error on meteorological conditions. In the preface to this publication, examples are provided which indicate that position errors in some navigation systems may not be consistent with the normal distribution. The subsequent section describes basic statistical tests for assessing the fit between the empirical and theoretical distributions (Anderson-Darling, chi-square and Kolmogorov-Smirnov). Next, statistical tests of the position error distributions of very long Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) and European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) campaigns from different years (2006 and 2014) were performed with the number of measurements per session being 900’000 fixes. In addition, the paper discusses selected statistical distributions that fit the empirical measurement results better than the normal distribution. Research has shown that normal distribution is not the optimal statistical distribution to describe position errors of navigation systems. The distributions that describe navigation positioning system errors more accurately include: beta, gamma, logistic and lognormal distributions.

Abstract Research into statistical distributions of φ, λ and two-dimensional (2D) position errors of the global positioning system (GPS) enables the evaluation of its accuracy. Based on this, the navigation applications in which the positioning system can be used are determined. However, studies of GPS accuracy indicate that the empirical φ and λ errors deviate from the typical normal distribution, significantly affecting the statistical distribution of 2D position errors. Therefore, determining the actual statistical distributions of position errors (1D and 2D) is decisive for the precision of calculating the actual accuracy of the GPS system. In this paper, based on two measurement sessions (900,000 and 237,000 fixes), the distributions of GPS position error statistics in both 1D and 2D space are analysed. Statistical distribution measures are determined using statistical tests, the hypothesis on the normal distribution of φ and λ errors is verified, and the consistency of GPS position errors with commonly used statistical distributions is assessed together with finding the best fit. Research has shown that φ and λ errors for the GPS system are normally distributed. It is proven that φ and λ errors are more concentrated around the central value than in a typical normal distribution (positive kurtosis) with a low value of asymmetry. Moreover, φ errors are clearly more concentrated than λ errors. This results in larger standard deviation values for φ errors than λ errors. The differences in both values were 25–39%. Regarding the 2D position error, it should be noted that the value of twice the distance root mean square (2DRMS) is about 10–14% greater than the value of R95. In addition, studies show that statistical distributions such as beta, gamma, lognormal and Weibull are the best fit for 2D position errors in the GPS system.

The horizon control system is the key technology in the automation of a shearer. The achievement of accurate shearer cutting path plays an important role for horizon control. A mathematical model of cutting path in the local geographic coordinate frame was built. Error analysis based on genetic algorithm (GA) was studied to guarantee the accuracy of the shearer cutting path. Parameters from a MG1000/2660-WD shearer and data from a working face were used to obtain the shearer cutting path with reference to the local geographic coordinate frame. Also, with error analysis based on GA, the desired sensors were chosen, which allowed coordinate position errors of a shearer’s cutting path to be less than 0.01 m. The desired accuracies of the inertial navigation system and encoders mounted on the different shearers used in thin seam, medium-thickness seam, and thick seam were calculated.

In order to study the effects of various parameters on macro-mechanical and deformational characteristics of coarse grained material based on discrete element method, triaxial tests have been conducted. Weighted average assembling method is used to assemble the numerical model based on PFC3D. The ratio of normal and shear stiffness of particles (kn/ks), shearing rate and friction coefficient are chosen as micro parameters to analyze the influential sensitivity. Curves of stress-strain intensity are taken as the mechanical analytic method. The particle rotation field as deformation analysis method is proposed to sort the sensitivity of these parameters in strength and deformation of coarse grained material. The research shows that the parameters have a certain effect on the strength and deformation of coarse grained material. kn/ks has the greatest influence on both. The sensitive list of the strength and deformation hopefully can be discussed with the relevant scholars, which can provide a reference for the adjustment of micro parameters in numerical field.
