Banjar Regency-South Kalimantan is found in the land utilization system by implementing a Dukuh (Fruit orchard) system including Karang Intan Sub-district and Archion. This system has a considerable influence on the environment and public income. But the data on the character and distribution of the Dukuh has not been well-data, therefore carried out the research of character and distribution of Dukuh in the district of Karang Intan and archion. The purpose of this research is to know the distribution and character of the Dukuh. The methods used in the research are NDVI analysis (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), analysis of interchanges, random sampling points, and interviews with the community by purposive sampling methods. Based on the results of the analysis obtained the number of Dukuh in the district of Coral Diamond as much as 7,086 and District Archion 12,092. In The Sub-district of Karang Intan and the archion has 12 kinds of fruit Dengan and 11 kinds of fauna diversity in it and average income management Dukuh ranging from Rp.3.000.000 to Rp.5.000.000.Kabupaten Banjar-Kalimantan Selatan banyak ditemui sistem pemanfaatan lahan dengan menerapkan sistem dukuh (kebun buah) diantaranya Kecamatan Karang Intan dan Pengaron. Sistem ini memberikan pengaruh cukup besar terhadap lingkungan dan pendapatan masyarakat. Namun data mengenai karakter dan sebaran dukuh belum terdata dengan baik, maka dari itu dilakukan penelitian Karakter dan Sebaran dukuh di Kecamatan Karang Intan dan Pengaron. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persebaran dan karakter dari dukuh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Analisis NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), Analisis tumpang susun, random sampling point, dan wawancara dengan masyarakat dengan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan jumlah persebaran dukuh dikecamatan karang intan sebanyak 7.086 dan kecamatan pengaron 12.092. Pada kecamatan Karang Intan dan Pengaron memiliki 12 macam jenis buah dengan 11 macam keanekaragaman fauna didalamnya dan penghasilan rata-rata pengelola dukuh berkisar Rp.3.000.000 sampai dengan Rp.5.000.000

Reliable and up-to-date data on every soil segment of the land areas cultivated for the contemporary land utilization is of vital significance. Currently, the efficient planning and control over the agricultural activities is hardly possible without any reliable and updated information on the yield and agricultural soil types, whereas implementation of drones in the field of land management and in agriculture, on the whole, is one of the most perspective directions, since unlike the artificial sattelites, they provide more precise and guided images for the given location. The aim of the research is to produce the digital field model and NDVI map for the crops by applying Parrot Disco-Pro AG drone kit.

This research aims to determine the number of costs, Revenue, and Income of their Cayenne pepper farming in Belangian village Aranio sub-district. The method used is the survey method and observation techniques. The number of farmers using Purposive Sampling Method as many as 98 people, with Simple Random Sampling technique, so that 30 respondent farmers. The results of this study obtained a Production of 6955 kg/farmers. The average revenue obtained Rp.5.795,833/ farmers or Rp 5.738,44/ hectare. At the same time, the average income of farmers is Rp.3.033,991 or Rp.2.997,028/ hectare.

This study aims to determine the differences in farming income for the cropping system of the patchouli cacao intercropping system and the cocoa monoculture system in the Puduria Jaya Village Buke Sub District South Konawe District. This research was conducted in Puduria Jaya Village Buke Sub District, South Konawe District in 2019. The determination of research respondents was carried out by proportional stratified random sampling. Methods of data analysis using income analysis and t-test. The results showed that the average income of patchouli intercropping farmers was IDR 16,172,200 / ha and the income of cocoa monoculture farmers was IDR 3,904,783 / ha. The income of patchouli cocoa intercropping farmers and cocoa monocultures shows a significant difference where the income of patchouli cacao intercropping patterns is greater than that of cocoa monocultures.

Currently, the efficiency of chemical weeding for controlling eucalyptus sprouts is measured by field sampling, but the inefficiency of the sampling methods has led to the investigation of new technologies, such as using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to help to identify the vegetative vigor of eucalyptus after chemical weeding. This study, therefore, used aerial images obtained by a UAV embedded with a sensor to identify the vegetative vigor and quantify the area occupied by eucalyptus sprouts 90 days after the chemical weeding. The study was conducted in three fields planted with eucalyptus whose sprouts had been previously controlled by the chemical weeding with the Scout® herbicide in November 2016. The vegetative vigor of the eucalyptus sprouts was evaluated from the aerial images obtained by the UAV with embedded sensor, during flights conducted in November 2016 and February 2017, that were used to calculate the normalized difference vegetation index and later, a random sample grid was constructed for each image by supervised classification of the area (m2) to determine the percentage occupied by the sprouts. The used chemical control method neither eradicated the sprouts nor reduced the sprout occupied area. The normalized difference vegetation index and supervised classification tools allowed determining with high precision sprout health status and size, generating interpretable data on the different evaluated fields and periods. The processing of the images obtained by the UAV provided a viable alternative of management to evaluate sprout status in reforestation areas.


With the blessings of Science and Technology, as the death rate is getting decreased, population is getting increased. With that, the utilization of Land is also getting increased for urbanization for which the quality of Land is degrading day by day and also the climates as well as vegetations are getting affected. To keep the Land quality at its best possible, the study on Land cover images, which are acquired from satellites based on time series, spatial and colour, are required to understand how the Land can be used further in future. Using NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and Machine Learning algorithms (either supervised or unsupervised), now it is possible to classify areas and predict about Land utilization in future years. Our proposed study is to enhance the acquired images with better Vegetation Index which will segment and classify the data in more efficient way and by feeding these data to the Machine Learning algorithm model, higher accuracy will be achieved. Hence, a novel approach with proper model, Machine Learning algorithm and greater accuracy is always acceptable

Climate change is making intense DANA (depresión aislada en niveles altos) type rains a more frequent phenomenon in Mediterranean basins. This trend, combined with the transformation of the territory derived from diffuse anthropization processes, has created an explosive cocktail for many coastal towns due to flooding events. To evaluate this problem and the impact of its main guiding parameters, a geostatistical analysis of the territory based on GIS indicators and an NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) analysis is developed. The assessment of the validity of a proposed methodology is applied to the case study of the Campo de Cartagena watershed located around the Mar Menor, a Mediterranean coastal lagoon in Southeastern Spain. This area has suffered three catastrophic floods derived from the DANA phenomenon between 2016 and 2019. The results show that apart from the effects derived from climate change, the real issue that amplifies the damage caused by floods is the diffuse anthropization process in the area, which has caused the loss of the natural hydrographic network that traditionally existed in the basin.

Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi jenis vegetasi,kerapatan tegakan, dan umur vegetasi terhadap informasi spektral vegetasi pada citradigital Landsat TM di Daerah Lereng Merapi Bagian Selatan. Tujuan yang dirumuskandalam penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengkaji jenis, kerapatan tegakan, dan umur tegakanvegetasi berdasarkan nilai kecerahan piksel pada citra tranformasi (NDVI) data digitalLandsat TM; (2) membuat zonasi vegetasi berdasarkan data digital Landsat TM. Metodeyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah transformasi indeks vegetasi dan kerjalapangan, sedangkan untuk pengambilan sampel digunakan metode stratified randomsampling dan area sampling. Stratified random sampling didasarkan atas pengelompokkannilai piksel pada citra transformasi indeks vegetasi, sedangkan area sampling digunakankarena nilai kecerahan pada data digital penginderaan jauh diujudkan dalam nilai piksel.Pemilihan sampeldengan mempertimbangkan jenis vegetasi dan kemudahan untukdijangkau. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan hubungan yang nyata antara nilaiindeks vegetasi (NDVI) dengan variasi jenis vegetasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasarklasifikasi vegetasi. Sedangkan parameter kerapatan tegakan dan umur vegetasimempunyai korelasi yang bersifat positif terhadap nilai indeks vegetasi (NDVI).Berdasarkan eratnya hubungan ini dapat dibuat citra atau peta distribusi kerapatantegakan dan umur vegetasi. Secara umum tingkat ketelitian klasifikasi jenis vegetasisebesar 93%, sedangkan untuk kerapatan tegakan dan umur vegetasi mempunyai tingkatketelitian sebesar 71% dan 76%.Kata kunci: Transformasi NDVI, Landsat TM, Vegetasi

The purpose of this research is to determine the extent of community involvement at the village of Bukit Telago and how the strategy of developing tourism at the village of Bukit Telago. Descriptive qualitative is the methodology used in this study. With 30 samples consisting of officials, community and local entrepreneurs, the method of sampling is use purposive sampling and random sampling methods. The results are that community involvement at Bukit Telago tourism was only in communities around the village and  the development strategy used involves three pillars namely village, community and local businessmen who are mutually integrated.
