Abstract. Teaching and learning activities are generally implemented using conventional learning method that is face to face between learners with educators in the same place and time. Conventional learning facilitates communication between learners and educators, but less time for discussion and limited space. Overcoming it then required a model that can make learning without time and space limited. Blended learning is a learning model that combines the conventional learning model with online digital media learning model that allows students to discuss unlimited time and place. The research is to develop blended learning model using blogger which is expected to be an additional media to support teaching and learning activities. Keywords: blended learning; kelas virtual; blogger Abstrak. Kegiatan belajar mengajar secara umum dilaksanakan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional yaitu tatap muka antara peserta didik dengan pendidik di tempat dan waktu yang sama. Pembelajaran  konvensional memudahkan komunikasi antar peserta didik dan pendidik, tetapi waktu untuk berdiskusi tidak banyak dan tempat yang digunakan terbatas. Mengatasi hal tersebut maka diperlukan sebuah  model yang dapat membuat pembelajaran tanpa terbatas waktu dan tempat. Blended learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang memadukan antara model pembelajaran konvensional dengan model pembelajaran media  digital online yang memungkinkan siswa dapat berdiskusi tanpa terbatas waktu dan tempat. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengembangkan model  blended learning menggunakan blogger yang diharapkan dapat menjadi media tambahan pendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kata kunci: blended learning, kelas virtual, blogger

Blended learning is basically a combination or mixture found in learning practice. Blended learning is a further development of the e-learning method, namely learning methods that combine e-learning systems with conventional or face-to-face methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the models and learning devices both in terms of content and model constructs, as well as to find out student responses to the model developed. The model developed was validated through a forum mechanism, namely, focus group discussion (FGD) which was followed by researchers and experts. The suggestions and improvements generated from the validation activities were then followed up to revise the Inquiry Collaborative Tutorial-based blended learning model. Inquiry Collaborative Tutorial-based blended learning model and learning devices developed in this study have met valid criteria in content and construct. Valid content because there are elements of need and novelty, as well as valid constructs because there is consistency between parts of the model and there is relevance between the models developed with learning theories that underlie it. In general, the average student responds positively to the blended learning model based on the Inquiry Collaborative Tutorial. The model applied is considered to provide opportunities for students to actively participate.

Background: Dermatotherapy is an important topic in Dermatology and Venereology module. The time allocated for dermatotherapy topic is limited, so that the development of learning method is needed to achieve the learning objectives. Blended learning is a combination of e-learning and face to face lecture session. This method is often used when there is less time available for lecturing and limited number of teachers. This learning method is expected to be more effective and efficient for the students and also the teachers. This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of blended learning method used in dermatotherapy topic, and to identify the obstacle of using this method. Methods: This study is a cross sectional study, using quantitative and qualitative approach, involving 22 fifth-year medical students of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia who enrolled in dermatology and venereology module. We collected data from questionnaire, pre and post-test, and feedback from the students. Comparison of pre-test and post-test results were analysed using paired T test, and followed by bivariate test of students’ characteristic, gadget usage and e-learning activities associated with the increased post-test score.Results: An increased in post-test score was found to be statistically significant (p<0.05). Approximately 95,4% of students passed the final exam on the dermatotherapy subject. Bivariate analysis revealed that the number of gadgets owned, digital usage and e- learning activities did not have a significant effect on the post-test score. Based on the students’ feedback, blended learning had a positive impact on helping their learning process; however, the materials of e-learning must be interactive, informative and comprehensive. Face-to-face lecture is still an important component in learning hence it is irreplaceable. Conclusion: Blended learning is an effective method of learning and should be considered if there is limitation of lecture time and number of teachers available. By using this method, medical students are more flexible in their study and it can be adjusted to their own learning style hence heling them understand better. Further development and improvement are needed for this method as to achieve the learning objectives.  Keywords: blended learning, dermatotherapy, medical students

In improving the quality of school education and learning in the future, it is necessary to change the mindset that will be used as the basis for implementing a learning program. What's more in the co-19 pandemic period that requires students to be able to study at home without interacting in class for a while. In the past the learning process was conventional, namely face-to-face in class. But even then, most teaching processes are still dominated by teachers. As a result, teaching and learning activities place more emphasis on teaching and not on learning. Learning activities favor the interests of those who teach. Efforts for learning to be focused on students, it is necessary to apply a cooperative learning model which is a form of change in mindset in learning activities at school. However, during this pandemic, the next challenge is how the cooperative process can take place in the online learning process. The absence of a physical meetup becomes an obstacle that can be minimized by the adaptation of the teacher in the distance learning process. In this case the teacher no longer dominates the learning activities, but rather becomes the facilitator and mediator of the process. The cooperative learning model is designed by giving opportunities to students together to build their own knowledge.

<p><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p>               <em>The development of technology, especially information technology (internet), gradually unintentionally gives influence to education either directly or indirectly. The influence is clearly visible one of them to the method of learning. Learning methods that used to be done only face-to-face in the classroom and make the educator as a center of information (conventional) gradually begin to change towards learning that is also on-line based on the internet as an information center (E-Learning internet based). In STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat E-Learning internet based learning method itself has been introduced and implemented since 2014, but has not been maximally optimized. This is because the method does not have a standard in its implementation, and also conventional face-to-face learning method can not be abandoned completely, hence there is overlap between the two. Accordingly, this study developed a model of learning that combines the concept of conventional learning with the concept of E-Learning internet based called Blended Learning. Blended Learning model is expected to be a solution to the above problems, so that the learning process can be implemented effectively. This research is research and development research (R &amp; D) with the outcome is a product that is learning model design</em>.</p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstrak</em></strong></p><p><em>Berkembangnya teknologi khususnya teknologi informasi (internet), berangsur angsur tanpa disadari memberikan pengaruh terhadap pendidikan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pengaruh tersebut terlihat jelas salah satunya terhadap metode pembelajaran. Metode pembelajaran yang dulunya dilakukan hanya secara tatap muka di dalam kelas dan menjadikan pendidik sebagai pusat informasi (konvensional) berangsur mulai berubah ke arah pembelajaran yang juga bersifat on-line yang berbasis kepada internet sebagai pusat informasi (E-Learning internet based). Di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat metode pembelajaran E-Learning internet based sendiri sudah diperkenalkan dan diterapkan sejak tahun 2014, tetapi belum telaksana secara maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena metode tersebut belum memiliki standar baku dalam pelaksanaannya, dan juga metode pembelajaran tatap muka secara konvensional belum bisa ditinggalkan secara utuh, karenanya terjadi tumpang tindih antara keduanya. Sehubungan dengan itu, pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah model pembelajaran yang menggabungkan konsep pembelajaran konvensional dengan konsep E-Learning internet based yang disebut dengan Blended Learning. Model pembelajaran Blended Learning ini nantinya diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan tersebut di atas, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat terlaksana secara efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian riset dan pengembangan (Research and Development/RnD) dengan luarannya adalah sebuah produk yaitu desain model pembelajaran. </em></p><p> </p>

Abstract. In general, the learning process is implemented by using face-to-face model, meaning that participants and teachers are in one place and one time. With this model, usually communication between participants and teachers can be easily implemented. But there are some obstacles that may be faced, such as the lack of time to discuss and the limited space that can be used. To overcome these problems, a model is needed that provides a medium for meeting participants and teachers without limited space and time. The model is known as blended learning. The blended learning model allows participants and teachers to discuss, share material and practice questions on a virtual classroom. The research undertaken is to develop a blended learning model using an analysis of the blended learning implementation framework and the use of Content Management System (CMS) WordPress technology. With this model is expected to be an additional media used to support teaching and learning process. Keywords: blended learning; virtual class; wordpress. Abstrak. Secara umum, proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model tatap muka, artinya peserta dan guru berada di satu tempat dan satu waktu. Dengan model ini, biasanya komunikasi antar peserta dan guru dapat dengan mudah diimplementasikan. Tapi ada beberapa kendala yang mungkin dihadapi, seperti kurangnya waktu untuk berdiskusi dan keterbatasan ruang yang bisa digunakan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan sebuah model yang menyediakan media untuk bertemu peserta dan guru tanpa ruang dan waktu yang terbatas. Modelnya dikenal sebagai blended learning. Model blended learning memungkinkan peserta dan guru mendiskusikan, berbagi materi dan mempraktikkan pertanyaan di kelas virtual. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengembangkan model blended learning menggunakan analisis kerangka kerja implementasi blended dan penggunaan teknologi WordPress Content Management System (CMS). Multivariable Calculus is one of the most difficult courses for undergraduate students. Researchers at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) endeavor to support students in the learning of Multivariable Calculus by promoting mathematical thinking in a face-to-face classroom. This study attempts to identify not only learning difficulties in Multivariable Calculus through mathematical thinking approach but also the ways and means of improving these difficulties based on students and lecturers recommendations. The main purpose of this study is to establish a model of teaching and learning based on these findings for designing a blended learning instruction of Multivariable Calculus course through mathematical thinking approach. It first attempts to identify the theoretical reasons for selecting blended learning to promote mathematical thinking in Multivariable Calculus. Then, it exemplifies a teaching and learning model to support students’ mathematical thinking in Multivariable Calculus through blended learning instruction.

In the era of digital technology, higher education in Vietnam should plan strategies for developing a blended learning model, in which, besides improving face-to-face learning activities, investing in online learning activities is a strategic goal not only to expand the learners’s market share but also to transform the training model to use technology for modifying and improving the quality of education. The paper focuses on the study of forms and levels of combined learning models, discussing the situation and solutions for applying blended learning models to higher education institutions in Vietnam.

This article examines the integration of Moodle to support face-to-face reading class learning activities since the management of learning reading comprehension as a single activity in the classroom is not sufficient. Students need to read outside the classroom and the teacher monitors students' reading comprehension activities. This can be realized by integrating Moodle in teaching and learning activities as a form of blended learning. More specifically, this best practice article illustrates three things, namely: (1) learning planning, (2) implementation strategies for integrating Moodle into face-to-face learning reading comprehension activities, and (3) The results of utilizing moodle to facilitate students’ reading comprehension activities in blended learning context. Students at one of senior high schools in Pangkalpinang are participants in this study. Furthermore, in this best practice, there are two data sources; document analysis and interview. The document analysis is taken from the learning activities where Moodle is used to visualize the picture of reading comprehension narrative text activities. Data from interviews are used to describe students' attitude in integrating Moodle in learning reading comprehension of narrative texts. It was described that Moodle, forum and quiz feature, were developed to support reading comprehension activities. It is also illustrated that students' attitude on the use of Moodle is positive; Moodle motivated students to work on Moodle questions so that they learn more actively, effectively, and reflectively.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the application of the Blended Learning-based POE2WE model with the Google Classroom median to improve student learning outcomes in physics learning. This writing is motivated by the lack of mastery of technology by educators as well as the lack of mastery of the material delivered by educators to students, so that learning has not been maximized. For this reason, there is a need for methods from educators to improve student learning outcomes, one of which is by using the blended learning method and the POE2WE learning model. So the results of this paper indicate that the application of the POE2WE model based on Blended Learning with Google Classroom media can be used as a solution of problems in teaching and learning in the classroom.

The main priority of providing education during Covid-19 pandemic to prioritize health and safety of students, educators, education staff, families, and the community in general, as well as considering the growth of the students and their psycho social conditions. The continuity of teaching and learning process that is not carried out in the school has potential to have a long lasting negative impact. Anticipating the negative consequences and issues of distance learning, SMA Negeri 1 Kota Depok, according to government guidelines, has implemented two new policies for limited Face-to-face learning and an emergency curriculum ( under special conditions). During the Covid-19 pandemic, online and offline learning must be done side by side. On the other hand the student learning outcomes are expected have good final result. The writer conducted Classroom Action Research as an effort to improve students' learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic by using Blended Learning method which combine Face-to face learning method with distance learning. Based on the cycle 1 and cycle 2, there were found that Blended learning can improve students' learning outcomes in Mathematics subject for 12 graders of Science subject at SMAN 1 Kota Depok. ABSTRAKPrioritas utama penyelenggaraan pendidikan pada masa pandemi Covid–19 adalah untuk mengutamakan kesehatan dan keselamatan peserta didik, pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, keluarga, dan masyarakat secara umum, serta mempertimbangkan tumbuh kembang peserta didik dan kondisi psikososial. Kelangsungan belajar mengajar yang tidak dilakukan di sekolah berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif yang berkepanjangan. Mengantisipasi konsekuensi negatif dan isu dari pembelajaran jarak jauh, SMA Negeri 1 Kota Depok sesuai panduan pemerintah mengimplementasikan dua kebijakan baru Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas dan Kurikulum darurat (dalam kondisi khusus). Pada masa pandemi Covid–19 mengharuskan mengharuskan pembelajaran daring dan luring berjalan beriringan. Di sisi lain hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh diharapkan tetap baik. Penulis melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada masa pandemi Covid–19 dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Campuran (Blended Learning) yang mengkombinasikan metode pembelajaran tatap muka dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Berdasarkan hasil temuan pada siklus I dan siklus II ternyata pembelajaran Campuran (Blended Learning) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika Kelas XII IPA di SMAN 1 Kota Depok.
