In this work, an innovative methodology to assess the security, habitability and functionality requirements of school buildings have been designed. The objectives are two: to design an evaluative methodology to assess technically the satisfaction of the basic requirements: safety, habitability and functionality that exist in public school buildings, and apply the methodology developed in university teaching so that students of the disciplines related to construction are able to justify, based on the regulations, their project decisions and intervention. The methodology is developed in the subject Applied Construction of the Master in Architecture of the Rey Juan Carlos University. The main result is that, from the detection of a real problem, such as the state of conservation of school buildings, we can developed an educational practice that helps Master students to ensure that their projects comply with current regulations. One of the most relevant conclusions is that the teaching applications of a real research, offer a provided value at academic level and a realistic view of the current constructions. Furthermore, stress the importance of both planning in accordance with the regulations and ensuring the conservation of the buildings

The flipped classroom, as an active learning model, has given remarkable results in several areas in the university teaching; however, its execution is still able to improve. This research shows the implementation and improvement of the flipped classroom model in the course of Pavements. It evaluates their influence on the students’ final grades and their learning experience. Three groups of students participated in this study, who enrolled in the course of Pavements in the Civil Engineering. Group A took the course with the traditional model, while Group B took it with a flipped classroom, and Group C experienced it with a reinforced flipped model. Groups did the course the subject in 2017, 2018 and 2019, respectively. Results show that even though with the flipped classroom models, the finals grades did not increase compared to the scores of the traditional model; however, it improved their learning experience. The students were more satisfied with the method; they even asked for fewer modifications than they did in the traditional model. This research shows that adding little academic things to the course, it would greatly influence their students' opinion.

The position of regional geography in the system of geographical sciences is a topic that has been the subject of intense epistemologically and methodologically focused discussion within scientific realm at the global level since the middle of the 20th century. The initial outcome of these processes at the academic level was the marginalization of regional geography in the study of spatial phenomena, but since then there was a partial revitalization of the regional approach. In view of these changes, the place of regional geography within geographical education also began to be problematized. In this paper, it is conducted a critical review of selected academic articles from the last few decades that at least in a certain segment touch on this topic, as well as analysis of recent trends in school geography. This analysis suggests that it is difficult to find an adequate replacement for regional content, especially in the geographical education at lower levels of education, and that in many countries it still represents the basis or at least an important part of the geographical curriculum. However, at the same time, the need for change of teaching approach based on the excessive so-called regional inventory of space, by introducing general geographical concepts in the study of regional units of various levels, and putting them in the service of the development of critical thinking in students.

Considering total crisis in education in Informational Age, we suggest that to overcome the crisis, it is necessary to promote pedagogical science up from "pre-paradigm stage” to the "paradigm stage". For this purpose it is necessary to separate the "educational science" from "education." “Educational paradigm” in such study will be the subject of the science. The key concepts for the "pedagogical paradigm" should be the concepts of "educational practice", "class of problems" and "educational text". We offer some axioms around these concepts.

The article describes the process of transforming the industrial model of the school into a modern one. The conclusion is made about the influence of the development of the educational process on the formation of architecture and space-planning decisions of buildings. The increase in the nomenclature of classrooms is directly related to the complexity of the structure of the school and its functional component. Also, modern trends in the design of school buildings are described. The space of schools is considered as a multifaceted structure, combining both places for study, and for rest. The problem of expanding and deepening the information space is analyzed, and ways of its solution are suggested. The main principles of designing public school zones, their division into different-scale volumes are described in detail. Conclusions are made about the requirements for modern school buildings to ensure their compliance with the aesthetic needs of the student's personality. The main problems that are present in the modern school fund are analyzed and possible options for its reconstruction are analyzed. Also, the principles of reconstruction in accordance with the types of planning organization are developed. Examples of solutions to some of these problems are given, and the issue of creating comfortable conditions for people with disabilities is separately highlighted. A conclusion is made about the effectiveness of applying these principles to ensure the modern learning process.

Environmental Education in Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism: case study of Serra do Mar State Park, Santa Virgínia Nucleus (SP, Brazil) ABSTRACT This study was conducted in Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar, Núcleo Santa Virgínia - SP, site of major ecotourism attractions, being the visitation oriented for trekking and rafting, a practice that occurs in Rio Paraibuna, using boats. Visitors are accompanied by monitors, a favorable environment for the conduct of a case study that seeks to analyze quantitative and qualitative the environmental education in ecotourism and adventure tourism. Questionnaires were applied to tourists, semistructured interviews to environmental monitors, rafting operator and the manager of the conservation unit. Participant observations on the trails and rafting were done. The vast majority of visitors is open for environmental education, to practice ecotourism to have contact with nature and learn something new. It was noticed that there is an effort of the management of Santa Virgínia, and monitors to conduct educational practice during the tours, but there is still no clear definition on the part of those about what would be environmental education. The lack of discussion on the subject and the no perception of the potential and the limitations of environmental education in local ecotourism can lead to efforts that do not generate the desired transformations, despite the intrinsic potential of the natural environment to provide changes in view and in individual attitudes. Abstract Introduction: The field of work in radiography is in constant development. This imposes requirements for both education, the professional practitioner herself, and for the employer who will ensure that knowledge and skills are up to date in order to maintain high standards at all times. Internationally organizational development and professional knowledge are continually calling for radiographer’s familiarization with the latest standards and techniques in this field. There has been little research on how radiographers experience if they have sufficient knowledge and experience in medication and drug administration. Method: A qualitative study with observation of five radiographers, who also participated in focused interviews aimed at mapping their experiences and assessments about the safety of drug administration in professional practice. Results: The observed performance of the radiographers´ work testifies to safe drug administration in that administration situations are characterized by a high academic level of knowledge. Still, radiographers are positive to more regular follow-up learning and/or training at the workplace, and discussions about drug administration safety. Conclusion: Radiographers' level of knowledge in the field of drug administration was found to be adequate according to the expected learning outcomes of the bachelor education in radiography. However, this is a small study, and the subject should be followed up further.
