Akhlak (morality) is one of the three basic frameworks of islamic teachings (akidah, syari'ah and akhlak) which have important position. Moral expression is concrete evidence of the application and embodiment of aqidah and syari'ah, thus, represents the quality of Muslim’s faith. This research is a qualitative research conducted with literature study. This study seeks to explain the ethical concept of al-Ghazali and its application in the world of adult education, as explained by al-Ghazali in his works. The author limited the writings of al-Ghazali which are used as the basis for this research study, only to works written in the last years of his life, especially when he lived life as a Sufi. This research found that al-Ghazali divided adult education methods into two, general and specific. The general method applies to everyone and the specific method applies specifically to everyone based on the results of self-introspection.

Kenya, like other countries in Africa and across the world is in the grip of technological advances leading its agencies and parastatals to digitize their operations. A pertinent question, therefore, is whether adult and community education, in its current packaging in Kenya, is empowering the participants to engage in using e-consumer services actively, meaningfully, and in beneficial ways in their daily transactions. This study, therefore, sought to investigate the level of integration of e-Consumer elements in Adult and Community Education. The study adopted a mixed-method research study targeting adult learners in Nairobi County, adult education officers, and adult education instructors. The study collected data using interviews and questionnaires. The study established that integration of ICT services in adult centers is still facing numerous challenges which are evident by the poor use of e-consumer services by the adult learners.

Native gurus and native rituals of Bali are the expectation of the spiritual healing of foreign tourists in Bali. This expectation is manifest in the longing for gurus and the development of authentic atmosphere. Thus, the native gurus and the native Balinese ritual are augmented products in the Bali spiritual healing in the face of competition from similar products. This indicates that Bali must retain its image as the original source of spiritual healing in the world.

Broadcasting regulation is one interesting thing to be observed in Indonesia’s television industry development. One television program that mostly having violation of the regulation is Empat Mata which continued with Bukan Empat Mata broadcasted by Trans7. This supports the researcher to do research about how the exact perception of broadcasting practitioners towards broadcasting regulation in Indonesia. The result of qualitative research, which collects data through observation and literature study, shows there is lack of knowledge in broadcasting practitioners about Indonesia’s Broadcasting Commission (KPI) and broadcasting regulation in Indonesia. Besides less socialization, multi-interpretation troubles in some regulations are the probable cause of increasing numbers of violation towards broadcasting regulations. As preventing action, it needs to have open dialog between KPI and broadcasting practitioners as bridging communication of their different authorities, which would be useful to increase quality of television show in Indonesia.

This chapter results from a qualitative research study finding that a heightened risk for management has emerged from a new security environment that is increasingly spawning asymmetric forms of Information Warfare. In particular, there is evidence that after recent terrorist events there has been a lift in security across the world and identification of terrorists now able to conduct Information Warfare. Also concerning is that, over the years, there have been many interpretations of what constitutes this threat. Therefore, after extensively reviewing literature mainly on Information Warfare and Terrorism, this chapter defines for readers what the threat of Information Terrorism is and the new dynamic security environment that it has created. Security implications for management have subsequently evolved, as they are now required to think about the philosophical considerations emerging from this increasing threat, and these are outlined and form the basis for future thinking.

One of the keys to advancing a nation is education. The future of a nation really needs the contribution of the nation's children who are competitive, superior, intelligent and faithful, given that competition is increasingly high in the global era. Indonesia has several problems in the world of education, starting from the low teacher salaries to high dropout rates, ending with the absence of the Indonesian education system in the list of 20 countries with the best education systems in the world. Islam itself in the field of education had enjoyed periods of glory when the Abbasid dynasty came to power. The fifth caliph's policy, Harun Ar-Rasyid, which at that time concentrated on improving the quality of education, made this period worthy of being dubbed the golden age of Islam (the Islamic Golden Age). The education policy that Ar-Rasyid applied could certainly be a solution to solve various problems that are currently sweeping the world of Indonesian education. This study focuses on the educational policies adopted by Caliph Harun Ar-Rasyid during the golden age of Islam. Through the literature study method, this study confirms that by studying history, all problems that are sweeping the world of education in this country can be resolved, and figures like Ar-Rasyid are the most appropriate to be asked for a solution.
