One sign of the rapidly growing world of medical science is its success in making one discovery about Deoxrybo Nucleid Acid (DNA). Islam does not prohibit the practice of DNA identification because it can be used in determining the legal status of relative relationships and related marital prohibitions among families because of the similarity of DNA genes between parents and their children. In Islam marriage prohibition can also occur between brothers and sisters. DNA identification can be done between siblings as a result of the presence of gene elements in breast milk. In addition, breast milk can also develop bone and grow meat if breastfeeding at least five times suction. But the results of DNA tests conducted between siblings cannot be more accurate if done to find relationships of parents and children. From this it clearly proves that Islamic medicine has an urgent value to Islamic law. This can be seen from one of its axiology in determining the status of brotherhood.

AbstractAn association is “a relatively formally structured nonprofit group that depends mainly on volunteer members for participation and activity and that primarily seeks member benefits, even if it may also seek some public benefits” (Smith, Stebbins, & Dover, 2006, p. 23). The arts that give birth to these organizations can be classified as either fine art or entertainment art. Every art association is embedded each in its own art world and its own social world. Members of these association are mostly amateurs or hobbyists in their art.Publications on arts-related amateur, hobbyist, professional, and mixed-member associations are reviewed. Their prime mission is to foster, present, and sometimes chronicle the art that its members prize. Many of these works report on the structure of the associations as well as on the recruitment, artistic development, deployment of artists, dissemination of their art, and retention of their members. Also reviewed is a selection of publications bearing on what could be called “arts consumption clubs,” or groups such as book clubs, dance clubs, and jazz clubs established to generate interest in a given art. Some of the publications reviewed center on associational management, use of volunteers, and financial base of the group.

Artificial Life artworks hold a unique place in the art world, one that has been largely mapped by the VIDA international competition through its annual recognition of outstanding works based on A-Life. Works that have received awards since the VIDA competition began in 1999 (25 prize-winning artworks and 56 honorary mentions) have gained viewer appreciation and popularity at the same level as any other kind of art. Yet these works define a territory of their own, delineated here through characteristics of A-Life art that arise from both the artist's studio and the research lab and that mark the 25 awarded artworks. Following this article, the Leonardo VIDA Gallery presents a selection of eight prize-winning works that show the breadth of the competition to date; each is discussed here.

The problem of organizing expert activities in the field of forensic art examination of fine arts at a practical level is considered. The conditions of objectivity (reliability) of the results of a forensic art examination of fine art in law enforcement practiceare identified. In this regard, the problem of the reliability of the examination results is considered at the interdisciplinary level: substantive law – criminal and customs; criminal procedure law, as well as forensic science and expert activities. The necessity of creating, within the framework of the anti-corruption policy of the state, an independent institute of forensic art criticism of fine arts is substantiated. It is proposed: 1) to create an information base under the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on the data of art historians known in different fields of fine art who can act as competent persons in legal proceedings; 2) to create a mechanism for the appointment of a commission of forensic-forensic art examination of objects of fine art examination on the basis of automatic random selection of subjects of examination. It is proved that this measure excludes the possibility of giving an unreliable conclusion as part of a forensic art examination of objects of fine art.

This paper will focus on polygamy with a philosophical approach to Islamic law and directly associated with the marriage law in Indonesia. Polygamy is an issue in family law of Islam in the discussion of fiqih both classic and contemporary. Even polygamy is a discussion that is always debated theologically and anthropocentrically. In the positive law in Indonesia, polygamy is allowed with certain conditions which are strict and in it famous with the principle of monogamy. The main requirement of polygamy both in fiqih and in Act No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage is fair, both physically and spiritually. Polygamy is a right that can only be owned by the husband and not owned by the wife. In the philosophy of Islamic law, polygamy is certainly not due only to the satisfaction of mere biological. But more than that, polygamy is interpreted as a solution to resolve a number of social issues such as the poor orphans, protection of the poor widow, and others. Polygamy in philosophy also has the meaning of protection, to avoid lewdness, and justice for feminists. However, in practice in Indonesia, philosophy of polygamy in the Marriage Law considered  by some of parties, can not be realized effectively. This is due to the absence of strict sanctions, weak administration, and the lack of public awareness in obeying the rules of religion and the Marriage Law in Indonesia.
