<p>The study was aimed to identify and to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that faced<br />the city of Samarinda in fulfilling the egg need and to formulate the best and suitable strategy for the region to face the<br />shortage of egg supply. The study was conducted in November 2009. The method used in the study was descriptive analysis method. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, observation and literature study. Methods<br />of data analysis using the SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) were used to identify the internal environmental factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external environmental factors (opportunities and threats) areas. The result was then drawn in the quadrant analysis of SWOT and interpreted in the SWOT matrix could be to show the position and direction of regional development as well as alternative strategies that can be run. The results showed that internal identified value was 0.3922 and the external identified value was 0.0308. Development strategy at Samarinda in the first quadrant with a strengths was greater than the opportunities, so the region must be able to use these strengths to take advantage of existing opportunities. The area should implement an aggressive growth strategy (growth oriented strategy) in order to meet the self need of eggs in the region Samarinda.</p><p><br />(Key word: Layer, Development strategy, SWOT analysis)<br /><br /></p>

The development of larva production of Patin catfish has great potential to meet market demand. CV Mika Distrindo is the one of company that need a development strategy to increase production to meet demand of Patin catfish larva. The aims of this study were: (1) to obtain information on the production process of breeding; (2) to know the feasibility of breeding; and (3) to carry out the strategy of seeding to obtain maximum profit. Method of analysis was done with (1) a descriptive analysis of the production process for a portrait Patin catfish hatchery; (2) Analysis of the feasibility using NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, Gross B/C Ratio, PBP, and BEP; (3) Analysis of internal and external matrix are using IFE and EFE matrix, and in combination in a matrix of IE; 4) SWOT matrix analysis to formulate strategic alternatives; and 5) Analysis QSPM for alternative decision priorities. The study results shows that CV Mika Distrindo is feasible because the business get the financial benefit. Indications in terms of financial feasibility are known from Rp516.660.510 of NPV; 21.42% of IRR; 5.57 of Gross B/C Ratio; 4.05 of Nett B/C Ratio; 10 months and 5 days of PBP and 2.698.006 of larva production or Rp539.601.139,60 of the value of sales. IFE score is 2.511 and EFE score is 2.565 (medium position). The Company core strategy is Growth/Stability Strategy. The SWOT analysis obtains formulation of strategies including the use of advances in technology, expansion of marketing network, strengthening capital, increasing sales volume, doing partnerships, taking advantage of investors, increase customer loyalty, maintain larva quality, improved system management and collaboration with stakeholders.Key words: Patin catfish hatchery, feasibility analysis and business development strategy

The first purpose of the research were to identify and analyze potential of agrotourism Bukit Flora and potential area to support development agrotourism Bukit Flora. The second purpose is to identify and analize internal and external environment agrotourism Bukit Flora the factors into strengths, weaknesses, oppurtunities and threats for development  agrotourism of Bukit Flora and the last purpose in this research is formulate appropriate strategies for development strategy of agrotourism Bukit Flora.Data analysis method use descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the potential of agrotourism Bukit Flora and identify the main factors to give weight to the factors that we have setconsisting of strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats by comparing the rows and columns of each variable on internal factors (IFE) and external (EFE). While the use of qualitative analysis in the form of a SWOT analysis and SWOT matrix IE matrix is used to analyze the development of agrotourism strategy using analysisQSPM.IFE total weighted scores of 2.56 and 2.30 for EFE. Placing agro Bukit Flora is in cell V. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis, it can be obtained by four alternative strategies that can be taken in the development of agro Bukit Flora. Based on the results QSPM matrix, the value of the attraction was highest at 3 strategy with the total amount of the appeal (TAS) was 6.26.

Lebih Village is a village located in Gianyar subdistrict, Gianyar regency, famous for its coastal tourism, which is Lebih Beach. Lebih Village have been included in the criteria for Tourism Village, however, their certificate has not been issued for this year. In addittion to the coastal tourist attraction, it turns out that the village has more potentials to be developed into a tourist attraction. Theses potentials include a natural, cultural and artificial attraction. These potentials still need to be developed in order to run in the tourism sector. In connection with this, the author tries to examine the “Analisis Prioritas Pengembangan Pariwisata di Desa Wisata Lebih, Kecamatan Gianyar, Kabupaten Gianyar. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive analysis technique and SWOT analysis, to analyze the tourism development priorities in Lebih tourism village. The purpose of this study was to determine how the existing conditions and to find out the priority strategies for tourism development in Lebih Village. Sources of data from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques using observation, interview and literature study, and interview instruments in the form of interview guidelines. The research of informant in Lebih Tourism Village in this research use purposive sampling technique, to get accurate data about tourism development priorities in Lebih tourism village, Gianyar subdistrict, Gianyar regency. The conclusion of this research is the exisiting condition in Lebih Village with component 4A which explains the attractions, accsess, facilities, and additional services. In addition there is a main priority strategy for tourism development in Lebih Village which is to develop the potentials they have, collaborate with another stakeholders, conduct training for the community, build tourism facilities, conduct promotions and improve management. The results of this research is the strategies obtained by the SWOT analysis, which were used as a priorities development strategy of tourism in Lebih Tourism Village, Gianyar. Social media as a digital marketing channel is currently utilized as a promotional media for business people especially those who choose the millennial generation segment as their main target market. The growth in the number of social media users today is also seen as an opportunity to build brand awareness through social media. This research aims to find out strategies in building brand awareness with social media marketing on Instagram for millennials. This research focuses on social media marketing that has been applied to the Il's Project brand which is one of the local footwear brands in the city of Denpasar. Using a qualitative approach, with a descriptive analysis of this study collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation which is further analyzed by SWOT analysis techniques comparing internal and external factors to determine the SWOT Matrix and IE Matrix for strategy determination. The results showed, Il's Project social media marketing was in quadrant 1 in the SWOT Matrix, and cell 5 in the IE Matrix. The right strategy is to support an aggressive strategy and growth strategy, namely, market penetration, increased sales and profits and increased marketing effectiveness on social media.

Tujuan pertama dalam penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis potensi daerah Desa Gubugklakah. Tujuan kedua adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal Desa Gubugklakah yang menjadi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Tujuan terkahir dalam penelitian ini adalah menentukan strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Gubugklakah sebagai desa wisata. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis potensi Desa Gubugklakah dan mengidentifikasi faktor utama pada faktor internal (IFE) dan eksternal (EFE) sedangkan dalam analisis kualitatif menggunakan analisis SWOT yang berupa matriks IE dan matriks SWOT. Untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan Desa Gubugklakah menggunakan analisis QSPM. Kata kunci: evaluasi faktor internal , evaluasi faktor eksternal, matriks SWOT, matriks QSPM. The first objective of this research is to identify and analyze potential areas Gubugklakah Village. The second objective is to identify and analyze the internal and external environment Gubugklakah Village of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The last destination of this research is to determine the right strategy to be applied in the development of tourism Gubugklakah Village as a tourist village. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the potential of the Gubugklakah Village and identify the main factors on internal factors (IFE) and external (EFE) whereas in qualitative analysis using SWOT analysis in the form of a matrix IE and SWOT matrix. Waruga grave stone coffin is a cultural heritage of Minahasa that have been designated as a cultural attraction. The purpose of this study was to describe the internal and external factors that influence the development of the Waruga Cultural Heritage as a tourist attraction, as well as formulate the development strategy for the tourist attraction of Waruga Cultural Heritage in realizing the sustainable tourism. This study used qualitative descriptive analysis using the collecting data techniques through observation, in-depth interview, documentation, and literature study. Informants were determined by purposive sampling and the acquired data were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicated that in order to maximize the development of the tourist attraction as well as realizing sustainable tourism to the Waruga Cultural Heritage, it is necessary to develop the strategies and programs such as empowerment of local communities, develop the facilities and infrastructure of the tourist attraction, improve the safety and convenience for tourists, protection against the cultural heritage, as well as develop the institutional and human resources.

Edelweiss for the tenggerese is the sacred plant, when the Edelweiss became extinct then it will affect the cultural customs of tenggerese. To cope with the extinction of the Edelweiss TNBTS party empower indigenous peoples by creating a tourist village of Edelweiss to maintain continuity, Edelweiss and used to meet the needs of the indigenous. Edelweiss as indigenous because needs as a form of devotion to the deities match the trust community Perched on the Wonokitri. This research aims at 1) to determine the strategy of the development of Village Tourism Edelweiss, 2) to find out the participation of the community. The method used a qualitative descriptive analysis is used to find out the participation of the community. The SWOT analysis is used to determine the development strategy of the tourist village of Edelweiss and continued with the analysis of the SWOT matrix. Research results indicate that the development is done Developing Tourism towards Community Based Tourism; utilization and optimization of tourist attractions with the tourist destination with the elements of education, conservation, culture and economic activity of the community; build and improve the means and infrastructure maintenance tourism is necessary; and increase the promotion and development of better program to attract tourists; as well as conducting training to foster community empowerment and raising public awareness about the management of the tourist village. Participation form community ± 20 persons became a member of the Edelweiss group of farmers manage tourism village of Edelweiss and society did not enter the participating farmers group planted in front of the Edelweiss home and along the way as well as just promoting tourism.

This study aims to analyze the potential and contribution of retribution revenue from the City Administration Government of Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta to the total DKI Jakarta Original Regional Revenue (PAD). This study uses primary data and secondary data. Qualitative descriptive analysis method focused on the development strategy of MSME business empowerment in the form of retribution income performance based on purposive sampling and literature study with Growth analysis testing tools and Share analysis. Growth rate (Growth) Temporary Location retribution income (LokSem) and Patronage Locations (LokBin) in the city government The administration of South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and East Jakarta has fluctuated every month. Total revenue retribution (Loksem and Lokbin) Administrative City Administration of South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and East Jakarta does not have a large influence on the total Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of DKI Jakarta Province in 2016.In order to improve the performance of retribution, it can be concluded that the strategy in the form of a Performance SOP and Performance Accountability Report (LPJK) in each month has an integrated Management Information System for all SME & Trade Sub-Centers in DKI Jakarta, analyzing 5 C (Capital, Collateral, Character, Capacity , and Condition) and 7 P (Personality, Party, Purpose, Prospect, Payment, Profitabillity, and Protection). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi dan kontribusi pendapatan retribusi dari Pemerintah Kota Administrasi Jakarta Pusat, Jakarta Timur, dan Jakarta Selatan terhadap total Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang difokuskan pada strategi pengembangan pemberdayaan usaha UMKM dalam bentuk kinerja pendapatan retribusi yang berdasarkan purposive sampling dan studi kepustakaan dengan alat uji analisis Growth dan analisis Share. Tingkat pertumbuhan (Growth) pendapatan retribusi Lokasi Sementara (LokSem) dan Lokasi Binaan (LokBin) di Pemerintah kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Pusat, dan Jakarta Timur mengalami fluktuatif tiap bulannya. Total pendapatan retribusi (Loksem dan Lokbin) Pemerintah Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Pusat, dan Jakarta Timur tidak memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap total Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Provinsi DKI Jakarta di Tahun 2016. Guna meningkatkan kinerja retribusi, dapat disimpulkan strategi berupa Terdapat SOP Kinerja dan Laporan Pertanggung Jawaban Kinerja (LPJK) di tiap bulannya, memiliki Sistem Informasi Manajemen terpadu bagi seluruh Sudin UKM & Perdagangan di DKI Jakarta, melakukan analisa 5 C (Capital, Collateral, Character, Capacity, and Condition) dan 7 P (Personality, Party, Purpose, Prospect, Payment, Profitabillity, and Protection).

This study aims to examine consumer behavior, customer satisfaction and development strategies that can support or hinder the development of vegetarian restaurants Fortunate Coffee using SWOT analysis. Research with qualitative approach using an analytical process begins with a browse through all the data available from the following sources using literature study, internet media, interviews, and questionnaires.Findings from this study showed that a vegetarian restaurant Fortunate Coffee has many advantages that can support the development of, among other strategic place and cozy, reasonable prices, good service, taste the food was pretty good, and have the product in Samarinda recently sold in Fortunate Coffee vegetarian restaurant that is Bread Vegan. Through of the findingsstrength, weakness, opportunity, threats, then difomulasikan into the SWOT matrix and eventually found a few strategies, namely strategies SO (strength-opportunity) flavorenhancing its menu. ST Strategy (strength-threats) maintain selling prices to remain stable. WO Strategy (weakness-opportunity) held activities such as seminars vegetarian and exciting events. WT Strategy (Weakness-threats), an improvement in consumer promotions, the need for special training to waiters in service procedures, innovations in the form of home delivery.

The aim of being able to see what development strategies are suitable for mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City. The research objective was to see the strategy for developing mangrove tourism in Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City with a SWOT analysis. The data collection used was a questionnaire method with a list of questions to the respondents. The analysis method used is a SWOT analysis to see internal factors and external factors, which will then be entered into the SWOT matrix. The research results obtained from the analysis of internal factors and external factors. The result of the internal factor is a strength (strength) of 2.75 while the weakness (weakness) is 1.46, so the value of the internal factor is 2.75-1.46 = 1.29 while from the external factor the opportunity (opportunity) is 2 , 52 and for the threat (threat) is 1.58, the value of the external factor is 2.52-1.58 = 0.94. Based on the analysis diagram, the SWOT strategy is in the Cell (quadrant) I position. This shows that the SO strategy in the SWOT matrix is an aggressive strategy. This strategy explains that Kampung Sejahtera mangrove tourism can take advantage of the surrounding environment. The environment around mangrove tourism is still natural so that it is very likely for the community to add stages such as trading, opening food stalls, and lodging businesses around the mangrove tourism of Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, and Utilizing mangrove forests so as not to abrasion around mangrove tourism Kampung Sejahtera on Baai Island, Bengkulu City, which makes the tourist area safe and tourists who visit are comfortable and not worried about abrasion
