After two months of online learning, students of Sai Gon University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam could gain recognition of benefits and drawbacks of online learning in comparison with face-to-face learning. This article shows which learning mode was preferred more and the reasons by students of the university through a survey of 180 undergraduates from six general English classes. As a result, the number of participants who chose face-to-face mode was the same as that of who preferred online learning. The explanations of face-to-face learning voters were face-to-face interactions, less distraction factors, better environment for communication skill practice and more various learning activities. Flexibility of learning place and time, comfort and accessible online materials and lecture notes were the reasons for the online learning voters. A few participants could not decide their favorite mode of learning since both had their own outstanding benefits.

Abstract As the effects of Covid-19 pandemic, Indonesia’s education experienced numerous changes. The previously face-to-face learning activities have been replaced by the online learning that relies on Internet access. Meanwhile, during a learning process, teachers use media to facilitate students learning. Therefore, the implementation of online learning rises the need for learning media in online learning. Mobile learning is invented as a learning media that can be implemented in this situation. It is developed using a number of programing applications, such as Sublime Text, to generate user friendly media. This study developed a Sublime Text based mobile learning application that can be accessed through android smartphones. This media has been confirmed to help teachers deliver learning materials, learning videos, and exercises accessible at anytime and anywhere. This Sublime Text based mobile learning application is called Study Fill. The learning media has been tried out to the students in tenth grade of State Vocational High School 2 Kediri, while the result suggest that the learning media is feasible and valid. Abstrak Pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini mengalami perubahan karena dampak dari pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan belajar mengajar yang sebelumnya dapat dilakukan secara tatap muka di sekolah, saat ini ditiadakan dan diganti dengan kegiatan pembelajaran secara jarak jauh. Pembelajaran jarak jauh mengandalkan akses internet sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan belajar mengajar, guru biasanya memanfaatkan media yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang tepat sehingga dapat membantu guru dalam pembelajaran daring. Mobile learning merupakan salah satu media yang tepat untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Mobile learning dapat dikembangkan dengan menggunakan beberapa aplikasi pemrograman, seperti Sublime Text, sehingga dapat menghasilkan aplikasi yang bersifat user friendly. Hasil penelitian ini berupa Mobile Learning Application berbasis Sublime Text yang dapat diakses melalui smartphone android. berupa Mobile Learning Application berbasis Sublime Text terbukti mempermudah guru membagikan materi, video pembelajaran maupun soal-soal dan peserta didik dapat mengaksesnya dimanapun dan kapanpun. Mobile Learning Application berbasis Sublime Text yang diberi nama StudyFill ini layak digunakan untuk siswa kelas X OTKP SMK Negeri 2 Kediri karena memperoleh hasil validasi sangat valid.

The emergence of online learning offers the opportunities that are not possessed by the traditional face-to-face learning environment. Combining the strengths of the online learning and face-to-face learning, known as blended learning, is believed to enhance the quality of learning. Different subjects may have different designs of blended learning because there is no specific formula for the best practices of blended learning. This paper reports a study investigating the implementation of blended learning in a paragraph writing course. The purposes were to investigate the blended learning activities carried out in the paragraph writing course and to find out the extent to which it affected students’ writing paragraph performance. The participants of this case study, who were selected purposively, involved one lecturer and six students of a paragraph writing class. The techniques for collecting data included interviews, observations, and document analysis, and the data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Ten blended learning activities, including five activities in face-to-face settings and five activities online, were identified in the course. The students’ paragraph writing performance seen from the result of final test was satisfying, indicating that the use of blended learning had a positive effect on students’ writing performance.

Pademi covid-19 datang secara tiba-tiba dan telah merubah semua sisi kehidupan, kebijakan dan pembatasan yang diterapkan diberbagai negara menjadikan manusia mengurangi interaksinya dengan manusia lain, hal tersebut dilakukan untuk memutus rantai penularan virus covid-19. Kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia meniadakan pembelajaran tatap muka baik tingkat universitas maupun sekolah-sekolah dan menggantinya dengan pembelajaran online/daring membuat penurunan kunjungan dan pemanfaatan perpustakaan oleh pemustaka. Dengan kenyataan tersebut diperlukan sebuah strategi agar perpustakaan khususnya perpustakaan perguruan tinggi tetap bisa berperan sebagai jantung perguruan tinggi. Salah satu strategi layanan yang bisa dilakukan perpustakaan dimasa pandemi ini adalah dengan cara menyediakan layanan referensi vitual. Layanan referensi virtual merupakan salah satu strategi perpustakaan peguruan tinggi dengan menyediakan layanan referensi secara online sehingga layanan tersebut tetap bisa diakses dimanapun berada tanpa harus datang langsung ke perpustakaan. Layanan ini juga sebagai wujud nyata peran serta perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam menerapkan social distancing dan mencegah perpustakaan sebagi klaster penularan baru. Pandemic covid-19 came suddenly, has changed all sides of life, policies and restrictions applied in various countries make humans reduce their interaction with other humans, it is done to break the chain of transmission of the covid-19 virus. The wisdom of the Indonesian government to eliminate face-to-face learning at both the university and school levels and replace it with online learning makes a decrease in visits and utilization of libraries by the library. With this fact, a strategy is needed so that libraries, especially college libraries, can still act as the heart of the college. One of the service strategies that libraries can do in this pandemic period is to provide virtual reference services. Virtual reference services are one of the strategies of high learning libraries by providing online reference services so that they can still be accessed anywhere in the world.

This research examines various aspects, including: student learning activities, problems during learning, to learning solutions at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the research process using data collection techniques by means of interview, observation, photos and videos when the research process was carried out. This study aims to obtain information regarding the strategies being carried out at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong in learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in the teaching and learning process now being shifted to online learning. Online learning is a solution to solving educational problems due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. The offline method is also applied through face-to-face learning and continues to carry out obligations by complying with health protocols. Such is the learning conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong. By using the online method and the offline method which is applied at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong amidst the current learning problems with the state of Indonesia affected by Covid-19.

Abstract This study discusses the Implementation of Online Learning in SMP Negeri 7 Padang. This research is a qualitative research and it uses the descriptive analytic approach which tends to use theoretical basis analysis used to guide the focus to be in accordance with the facts in the field. The research data were collected through interviews done to informants. Based on the results of the research implemented in two meetings, the author concludes that the implementation of online learning of Cultural Arts in music ensemble material to class VII.1 SMP Negeri 7 Padang is the use of WhatsApp Group media recommended by the assistant principle of Curriculum of SMP Negeri 7 Padang to deal with online learning so that learning activities still can be constructed even in a remote condition. The planning of online learning of music ensemble material is not optimal because the teachers do not create lesson plans specifically for the online learning process. The implementation of online learning in Cultural Arts in class VII is in accordance with the lesson plans implemented during face-to-face learning in the classroom. The online learning of Cultural Arts of the ensemble music material continues to run smoothly despite the simple learning. The learning outcomes of Cultural Arts of music ensemble of class VII are less than optimal because the learning activities are constructed without paying attention to the standards related to the preparation of online learning materials.Key words: Online Learning, Music Ensembless

 The current condition, even though Covid-19 still exists, it has entered a new era of normality. So far, the education sector has implemented online learning, which has begun to take place face-to-face again but still follows health rules and protocols. The health protocol is implemented to protect all components in schools from the risk of Covid-19 transmission. SMP Negeri 26 Malang has also started to hold face-to-face learning activities. The learning activity began on April 19, 2021, which was carried out in stages. Therefore, SMP Negeri 26 need socialization related to health protocols as long as they carry out face-to-face learning activities. This socialization aims to provide information to SMP Negeri 26 Malang students regarding the prevention of covid-19 by implementing the health protocol, namely 3M (keeping a distance, wearing masks, and washing hands) to avoid covid-19 transmission. The results of this socialization are that students and students of SMP Negeri 26 Malang have understood the ways of transmission and prevention of Covid-19 using the 3M health protocol.ABSTRAKKondisi saat ini meskipun covid-19 masih ada, namun sudah memasuki era kenormalan baru. Selama ini bidang pendidikan menerapkan pembelajaran daring, mulai berlangsung lagi secara tatap muka, namun tetap  mengikuti aturan dan  protokol  kesehatan. Protokol kesehatan diterapkan bertujuan  untuk  melindungi  seluruh komponen  yang  ada  di  sekolah  dari resiko  penularan  Covid-19. SMP Negeri 26 Malang juga mulai menggelar kegiatan belajar secara tatap muka. Kegiatan belajar tersebut dimulai tanggal 19 April 2021 yang dilakukan secara bertahap. Oleh karena itu siswa-siswa SMP Negeri 26 membutuhkan sosialisasi terkait dengan protokol kesehatan selama mereka melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran tatap muka. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 26 Malang terkait pencegahan covid-19 dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan yaitu 3M (menjaga jarak, memakai masker, dan mencuci tangan) agar terhidar dari penularan covid-19. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini yaitu mayoritas siswa dan siswi SMP Negeri 26 Malang telah memahami terkait dengan cara penularan dan pencegahan covid-19 menggunakan protokol kesehatan 3M.

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia had a direct impact on learning activities in elementary schools, including science learning, so that face-to-face learning was shifted to online learning. This study aims to analyze online learning activities, supporting factors, obstacles faced, and the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted an elementary school of Pontianak Kota Regency, Pontianak City from March to April 2021. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to provide an overview of online learning an elementary school of Pontianak Kota Regency. This study uses data from semi-structured interviews given to classroom teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis used the analysis technique of Miles & Huberman through four stages, namely data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on learning activities. Online learning is carried out using Google Meet and WhatsApp media. Supporting factors and obstacles in online learning, namely communication tools, internet networks, student motivation, and support from parents. Online learning is felt to be less effective because the material is not fully conveyed to students. Most of the activities are carried out only by giving material briefly and assigning assignments and collecting assignments. Thus, there is a need for breakthrough steps that teachers need to take so that learning is not monotonous and can be meaningful for students even in a state of online learning. Abstrak   Adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia secara langsung sangat berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, termasuk pembelajaran IPA sehingga pembelajaran tatapp muka dialihkan ke pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara daring kegiatan pembelajaran, faktor pendukung, kendala yang dihadapi, dan keefektifan pembelajaran daring selama Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota dari bulan Maret sampai April 2021. Ini Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran pembelajaran online di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari wawancara semi terstruktur yang diberikan kepada guru kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis Miles & Huberman melalui empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran secara daring dilakukan dengan menggunakan media Google Meet dan WhatsApp. Factor pendukung dan yang menjadi hambatan dalam pembelajaran online, yaitu alat komunikasi, jaringan internet, motivasi siswa, dan dukungan dari orang tua. Pembelajaran daring dirasakan kurang efektif karena materi tidak tersampaikan seluruhnya kepada siswa. Sebagian besar kegiatan dilakukan hanya dengan memberikan materi secara singkat dan pemberian tugas serta mengumpulkan tugas. Dengan demikian perlu adanya langkah terobosan yang perlu dilakukan guru agar pembelajaran tidak monoton dan bisa bermakna bagi siswa meskipun dalam keadaan pembelajaran daring. Online learning and course management systems are central to learning universities and colleges, and a model that blends face-to-face learning with distance education can combine benefits of the rich human learning relationships with the benefits of flexibility of where and when students learn. A large number of universities and colleges are adopting a blended model of learning. In the past, online interactions between learners generally have taken the form of text-based discussion forums, and while these have been used with great success in many courses, there are other interactions that have been difficult or impossible to undertake online. Database-driven Web sites were developed to make these interactions possible. Database-driven Web pages or collaborative, user-produced, Internet documents (CUPIDs) represent an innovation in online learning that allows learners to add, remove and edit the content of a Web page and/or upload files. As the data are input via Web forms, no programming skills are required. The data from the forms are processed by the database and the Web page is then rebuilt by the database. In this way, the database constructs or “drives” the Web page. CUPIDs have been used to facilitate a range of online interactions between learners in subjects at the University of Wollongong. The subjects all employ a model that blends face-to-face and online components. As well, learners may be distributed geographically between the five campuses of the university. The examples are: a Collaborative Online Glossary (COG); a Collaborative Online Reporting (COR); an Online Student Collected and Annotated Resources (OSCAR); as well as, a Collaborative Online Movie Review (COMR). By fostering new types of online interactions, CUPIDs provide greater functionality to online collaboration and open the door to a host of activities that are new to collaboration, online or otherwise and hence have a place in online learning of the future.

The purpose of this study is to describe how the Microsoft Teams application is used in online learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The data technique is done by collecting information, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then described descriptively. From this method, the research results show that the use of Microsoft Teams in online learning activities is said to be quite effective and efficient. With various features in one application that makes it easier for teachers and students to access, because teachers can deliver materials using various facilities or features provided by the Team, not only in text but also in text. video form. In addition, teachers can also assess the activeness of their students with the chat feature, and can efficiently assign assignments as evaluation materials to see the level of student understanding. In addition, Teams can also be used for video reservations for face-to-face learning via online. The COVID-19 pandemic has had many impacts on various sectors. One of them is the education sector. Education is also feeling the impact that has occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Porong is one of the schools that has felt its impact. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out adaptations, learning strategies, innovations, and efforts faced by schools in implementing distance learning carried out by teachers who teach at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Porong during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the learning strategies carried out during online learning activities and face-to-face learning activities carried out during the pandemic. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are that there are many challenges faced by SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Porong in carrying out online learning, During the pandemic teaching and learning activities at SMP Muhammadiyah are carried out online, the learning method during online delivery of learning uses internet media such as zoom, google meet, and an application called etmodo. In addition, there are teachers who have less competence in the fields of technology and information in learning, students are undisciplined when conducting online learning, and demands to always have internet quotas that burden students. The solutions include conducting workshops, seminars, and training for teachers related to technology and information used in online learning, as well as carrying out teaching and learning activities that were originally online to face-to-face so that learning is more effective to be carried out while still implementing health and psychological protocol distancing. In this way, it is hoped that teaching and learning activities can run well.
