The study aims to analyze the innovation potential of enterprises, explain the use of the binary regression methodology, and explore different indicators of the enterprises in the regions of Kazakhstan for building an effective management strategy. Methodological substantiation is based on the complex survey data analysis, provided by the World Bank Enterprises Survey (WBES) for Kazakhstan. WBES database has covered a sociological survey of enterprises, which was conducted using a random survey and representativeness among 1,296 enterprises, mainly in the production sector. Besides, the data were collected among companies regarding their experience in environmental perception (including innovation activity), in which they worked. The results have demonstrated that the age of the company, exporter status, type, sector, or activity – all these have a positive influence on the company’s tendency to innovations. However, as part of the study, it has found out that competitors in the marketplace and regions of activity of enterprises predominantly negatively affect the prospects of introducing innovation. It was also in evidence that the same factors (foreign ownership, advanced training, type, size, and sector of an enterprise) are essential determinants of product, technology, R&D, ICT, and innovation. Obtained results can be used by enterprises for building an effective management strategy of own business innovative development, as well as by local authorities to upgrade the competitive performance. AcknowledgmentsThis study has been funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Grant “Priorities and mechanisms of inclusive regional development of Kazakhstan in the context of overcoming the economic recession” No. AP09259004).

One of the ways to intensify the production of beekeeping products is selection. Bee breeding is not only one of the most important methods, but also the most economically efficient way to increase the productivity of bee colonies. Thus, the selection of bees and the implementation of its achievements into production are one of the most important and most effective directions for intensifying beekeeping. Research work was carried out under the project of program-targeted financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Development of technologies for effective management of the selection process in beekeeping." This article examines the characteristics of the morphometric indicators of honeybees in the Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The material for the research was the specimens of worker bees from apiaries located in the Almaty region of the Devochkin farm, Panov farm, Kalinin Individual Entrepreneur, Adilgazy Individual Entrepreneur, Kashkimbaev farm. To carry out the study according to the method of A.B. Kartashev, 35 samples of bees were worked out. Changes in the parameters of the wings, including the cubital and dumbbell index, discoidal displacement by bee species: Central Russian, Carpathian, Italian and Carniolian honey bee, are considered. It was found that in Kalinin’s apiary morphometric indicators for the cubital index, the average value was 2,787%. As a result, the morphometric indices for the cubital index in bees of the IP Kalinin bee were 2.777%. Whereas in other farms, the average value was significantly lower for all indicators. Accordingly, the percentage of the cubital index was 7.42-17.36%, the dumbbell index was 6.77-11.81%, and the discoidal displacement was 32.91-47.37%. According to all indicators, it is clear that the Kalinin Individual Entrepreneur’s bee farm is superior to other bee farms in terms of morphometric data. This is due to the isolation of the beekeeping and out of reach of other bees, thus ensuring a low level of hybridization. The considered analysis of the species belonging to the entire apiary, as well as economically useful features, can significantly increase the efficiency of selection work in beekeeping.

The article examines the methodology for assessing the resource component of the innovation potential of clusters in the field of recreational tourism, which in recent years has been able to develop the national economy at a rapid pace. In the process of the research, developed the authorship definition on the basis of a theoretical study of the terms “innovation potential of the tourist recreation subject (TRS)” and “innovation potential of the tourist recreation clusters (TRK)”, which are considered the main link of the tourist recreation cluster. The method of assessing the resource component of the innovation capacity of the clusters in the recreational tourism sector was improved by using a model based on the modified production function of Cobb-Douglas as a research innovation. Theoretical research is based on the determination of the forecast indicators for the year 2022 in the Republic of Uzbekistan through the econometric model in the linkage of factors affecting the volume of recreation services rendered for 2013-2019 years. Abstract Introduction Bedtime Procrastination (BP) is defined as the behavior of voluntarily delaying going to bed, without having external reasons for doing so. Recent research on procrastination behavior suggests that when negative emotions are elevated, procrastination behaviors can be triggered in order to find pleasure to avoid and alleviate them. Procrastination can also occur when there is difficulty regulating emotions. In addition, the reason for bedtime procrastination may be different depending on whether the individuals present with insomnia. According to previous studies, patients with insomnia may exhibit more pronounced negative avoidance of bedtime due to prolonged sleeplessness. Therefore, this study compared the difference between of the bedtime procrastination and the emotional regulation strategies between the insomnia group and the healthy group. Methods This study was conducted in 582 adults (mean age 23.06 ±2.16 years), 81.6% females. Individuals scoring higher than 15 on the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) were classified into the insomnia group (n=375), and those less than 15 were classified into the healthy group (n=207). Participants completed the Bedtime Procrastination Scale (BPS), Emotional Regulation Strategies Checklist. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi square test, and independent t tests. Results The insomnia group had significantly higher bedtime procrastination scores than the healthy group (t=-6.241, p<.001), and also the avoidant/distractive regulation style score was significantly higher (t=-1.969, p<.05). In addition, the score of active regulation style was significantly lower in the insomnia group than in the healthy group (t=3.050, p<.01). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the support-seeking regulation style. Conclusion Based on these results, it was confirmed that there was a difference in the bedtime procrastination and the emotional regulation strategies between the insomnia group and the healthy group.
