Unlike web applications easier to update the latest version, desktop applications more difficult and must involve the user in doing so. It is caused by a desktop application is an application that is installed in the computer user. The purpose of this research is to design an automatic system updates on a desktop application, an example case: Application Binus International Operational Support (ABIOS). This research used literature study and system design. In desktop applications, often there is update the latest applications that are not known to the user who sometimes fatal and disrupt business operations. Generally, developer will inform the changes version to user that they can update the application. In an update of applications, should be done by the system automatically, not manually by users. Once in a while, the user background is not from computer base. After doing the research, it can be concluded that the system automatically updates the application has benefits to users in obtaining information regarding the latest version, and can assist in automatically update the latest application is based on computerization. For further development of this system is expected to operate on multi platforms and or mobile applications.

Bullying is still a troubling social problem. Bullying cases that occur in high school students have caused many problems both physically and psychologically. Bullying is a phenomenon that is very much, rooted, passed down from generation to generation. The seriousness of bullying is a big problem for all of us. The level of knowledge and concern for teachers, parents, health service teams, and the Indonesian people towards bullying is still low. Information systems are needed for management in making decisions to overcome bullying problems. Researchers in this study created a system that can be used as a means of delivering information from students to schools. The creation of this system is based on a system that is easily accessible, secure, and guarantees the confidentiality of the complainants. So that this product can help schools identify cases of bullying in schools, who are the perpetrators of bullying, and victims of bullying, with the hope that schools can stop the chain of bullying events and prevent bullying at schools. The scheme in this study is to design a website that reports bullying and provides information. The system design model used in this study is a prototype model and data was collected through observation, interviews and literature study. Kata kunci—framework, aplikasi desktop, aplikasi web    AbstractDesktop application is an application that runs locally in a desktop environment and can be accessed only by desktop users. It differs from web application which can be accessed from anywhere through networks. But unlike desktop applications, web applications cannot integrate nicely with desktop applications from where it is accessed. This research developes a prototype of framework which is named HAF (Hybrid Application Framework). HAF is used for developing and executing a new type of desktop application, named HyApp (Hybrid Application). Through HAF, HyApp is built using web technologies and can be accessed either locally or from networks. When accessed locally, even though it is built using web technologies, it still can communicate with other desktop applications. Also by using APIs provided by HAF, HyApp is capable to behave differently based on whether it is accessed locally or remotely. Keywords—framework, desktop applications, web applications

Event-based system (EBS) is prevalent in various systems including mobile cyber physical systems (MCPSs), Internet of Things (IoT) applications, mobile applications, and web applications, because of its particular communication model that uses implicit invocation and concurrency between components. However, an EBS’s non-determinism in event processing can introduce inherent security vulnerabilities into the system. Multiple types of attacks can incapacitate and damage a target EBS by exploiting this event-based communication model. To minimize the risk of security threats in EBSs, security efforts are required by determining the types of security flaws in the system, the relationship between the flaws, and feasible techniques for dealing with each flaw. However, existing security flaw taxonomies do not appropriately reflect the security issues that originate from an EBS’s characteristics. In this paper, we introduce a new taxonomy that defines and classifies the particular types of inherent security flaws in an EBS, which can serve as a basis for resolving its specific security problems. We also correlate our taxonomy with security attacks that can exploit each flaw and identify existing solutions that can be applied to preventing such attacks. We demonstrate that our taxonomy handles particular aspects of EBSs not covered by existing taxonomies.

The article refers to the work of Ukrainian researchers devoted to expressionism, such as O. Chernenko, M. Moklytsi, A. Biloi, O. Osmak, G. Yastrubetskoyi and others. It defi nes the main directions of research and characterizes researchers by their theoretical concepts, focusing on the names of the writers who are called the representatives of Ukrainian literary expressionism. Attention is paid to the fact that the theories may often be similar but researchers represent diff erent series of names and works. This requires further development of the theory of expressionism and the Ukrainian literature study in this aspect.

At this time the application for mobile applications on an industrial scale and companies are still considered very lacking for it’s application, it is because the industry that is currently running is still likely to use a desktop. Which with the mobile application opportunity and understanding of technology from everyone in the company, business process automation can be done more efficiently through mobile applications. Planning of this people management system aims to resolve the problem experienced by one of the telecommunications companies in Indonesia, which at present employees find it very difficult to make requests for overtime, leave and claims, because the current system is still in desktop or manual form filling which still depends on the office network environment. Therefore, a mobile application-based People Management System (PMS) will be made in which the process will run in real time and can be done anywhere. For the initial stages of development planning Mobile applications for People Management System (PMS) will greatly help the company problems mentioned earlier. By using Heuristic Task Analysis (HTA) as a method for reviewing the effectiveness of work and activities that are not properly carried out, so it can be obtained desirable productivity (Stanton, 2006)., and the System Usability Scale (SUS) method for interface testing which is carried out directly by end users (Martoyo & Falahah,2015). Based on the provisions of the System Usability Scale score, the assessment results of 10 respondents for the People management system application of 79.0 where the score is the Acceptability Ranges in the Acceptable category and are in grade B. From these results it is felt that there is still need for further development because current planning is for the initial planning phase, there needs to be further development to improve the performance of the company and comfort for employees.
