Science learning during COVID 19 pandemic had not been optimally implemented. This research aimed to discuss a new learning strategy, called science experimental accompanied by video tutorials as a distance learning innovation. A study literature method was used in this article. The experimental method was carried out in four stages, namely initial experiment, verification, concept application, and evaluation. This makes distance learning more effective and efficient. Students can develop thoughts, imaginations, and attitudes through exploration; foster interest and motivation to learn, and assisting in learning activities to achieve learning objectives without any limitations on distance and time. Demonstrations in this learning strategy can also be repeated and all students can understand the material.

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted various fields, especially education, namely the implementation of distance learning. One of the activities carried out by teachers is the implementation of independent practicum by students so that teaching and learning activities continue to run even though the students are at home. This study aims to analyze the motion of jumping cats using a tracker application that can be used as a practicum activity independently in science subjects of motion material in grade VII by using cats that are in the environment of learners as the subject of the study. This research method uses a hands-on experimental approach by taking videos of jumping cats' motion and processing them with a tracker app. The results of data processing with the help of tracker application are processed by using Microsoft Excel program so that obtained KD, KB, TB, K and E relationship graphs cat jump has a constant or stable speed indicated by linearity graphs. In addition, data processing using a tracker application is more accurate and consistent compared to the acceleration value by manually calculating so that it can be concluded the use of application-assisted jumping cat video analysis is worth using in science learning.

This study aims to determine the strategies used by Muhammadiyah 2 Krian Elementary School in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used by author is qualitative research and using a phenomenological approach to explore information related to the issues raised. Muhammadiyah 2 Krian Elementary School carries a new learning strategy asa solution in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, namely learning online using the WhatsApp application, google meet, and zoom. However, the method was not effective enough that the Muhammadiyah 2 Krian Elementary School teachers implemented a visiting teacher system and a consultation class. With the implementation of this strategy as a solution in dealing with learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities at the Muhammadiyah 2 Krian Elementary School can run well.

One of the obstacles in the implementation of online learning during Covid-19 pandemic is the lack of lecturers and students’s readiness in mastering e-learning support applications. In addition, the large amount of assignments precisely can trigger students’ psychosocial stresses that may diminsih the online learning effectiveness. The lecturers, therefore, are required to be more creative to make an interesting learning, including in Arabic learning.  Karrona, an innovative learning strategy, is a song media-based method focusing on strengthening the understanding of qawāid substance that is applied to overcome the ineffectiveness of online learning Arabic. This study then aims to investigate how the effectiveness of Karrona strategy to increase qawāid understanding and to improve vocabulary mastery in online Arabic learning during pandemic covid-19. This research employed a mixed method design, involving the mixing of both quantitative and qualitative approach. This study involved 176 students of IAIN Bone as well as used observation and questionnaires techniques to collect the data. The major findings of this study show that the Karrona strategy is briefly effective in increasing student interest and motivation to learn Arabic. Moreever, this strategy can improve students’ qawāid understanding and mufradāt mastery.

Based on the perspective that motivation is an essential element for learning and academic achievement nor challenge that its components are not directly observable variables, I was empirically examined the instrument through rigorous survey data. The instrument used was Science Motivation Questionnaire II (SMQ-II) that translated into Indonesian Language. The 4 expert judged my Indonesian translation version of SMQ-II and 240 students responded to this version. It assesses five motivation components: intrinsic motivation, self-determination, self-efficacy, career motivation, and grade motivation. The findings of this work show that the questionnaire is a valid and reliable and that the entire questionnaire can be completed in about 15 minutes. Through this work, I suggest my version of SMQ-II in Bahasa Indonesia can be used as an efficient instrument for assessing components of students’ motivation to learn science in Indonesia secondary school.

Abstract. This journal discusses the development of variations in teaching in increasing learning motivation. The learning process is an activity that involves an individual (physical and spiritual), learning activities are never carried out without a strong motivation or motivation from within the individual or from outside the individual who participates in learning activities. Therefore, the learning process requires the development and use of variations in teaching to generate student motivation. Variations in teaching include variations in teaching styles, variations in media and materials, and variations in teaching and learning interactions. Motivation has a very important role in learning activities, there is no learning activity without motivation, therefore motivation has a strategic role in achieving the goals or results of learning. Abstract The general aim of this study is to determine the effects of learning management systems supported by social networking sites on learners’ academic achievements in distance education. The study group consisted of 75 undergraduate students from a state university in eastern Turkey. The data for the study, in which an experimental research design was used, were collected through an achievement test, which consisted of 40 multiple-choice questions. Within the scope of the research, a learning management system and a social networking site were utilized in a distance education course. As a result of the research, it was seen that social network supported distance learning activities created a more positive effect on the achievements of the learners than the distance learning activities. Also, it was determined that social network supported distance education activities were more effective in the acquisition of behaviours at the knowledge level of the cognitive domain than activities in other groups; however, the groups were not different from each other in relation to the acquisition of behaviours at the comprehension level of the cognitive domain. In this context, it was concluded that the learning management systems used in distance education should be supported by social networking sites to increase the academic achievement of learners.
