The correlation of reproductive health information exposure from media on premarital sexual behaviour: an Indonesia demographic health survey 2012 analysisPurposeThis study aimed to determine the correlation of type and intensity of exposure of reproductive health information through media to the sexual behavior of adolescents and young adults in Indonesia.MethodsThis study used a cross-sectional design. The data used was the Indonesian sub-survey of adolescent reproductive health, Indonesia demographic and health survey.ResultsThe results showed that adolescents and young adults who receive the health information type of adolescent reproductive health category have a smaller prevalence in sexual intercourse before marriage than information of contraceptive methods category or both. The intensity of exposure to reproductive health information which was low or no exposure, have higher prevalence of premarital sexual behavior. Age, gender, level of education, level of wealth, smoking, drinking alcohol, drug consumption and dating intimacy are significantly associated with premarital sexual behavior of adolescents and young adults.ConclusionType and intensity of reproductive health information are significantly associated with premarital sexual behavior of adolescents and young adults. The high intensity of exposure and type of adolescent reproductive Health category have a smaller prevalence in sexual intercourse before marriage.

Adolescent is a period of psychosexual development which at this stage are very prominent change is when the sexual function of maturity shown through behavior change. Indonesia Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey proves that nationally there is an increasing incidence of sexual intercourse than 3 million teens who claimed ever done premarital sexual behavior in 2007 to 3.7 milliion youth in 2012. This study is adescriptif study with 135 respondents as study sample are early adolescent in the Hope Island Villages 0f Thosand Island. The result of this study showed that most respondents are adolescent aged 11 years (40%), 52,6% were male and 47.4% female, 54.8% had sexual behavior risk and 21.5% of respondents ever do sexual intercourse. Advice to government, social agencies, and research institutions and community servicein college in order to perform adolescent reproductive health education to adolescent in Hope Island Villages of Thousand Island.

Quantitative descriptive research using cross sectional design. The population was 96 and the sample was 74 students, taken by cluster sampling techniques. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis using chi square statistical tests.The results showed that the majority of respondents were 16 years old (45.9%). Most of the respondents were male (54.1%). Most of them were interested in the opposite sex (51.4%). There were 56.8% of respondents who had a good parents role. There were 59.5% of respondents who had good knowledge of reproductive health. There were 20.3% of respondents who got bad pre-marital sexual behavior. There is a relationship between the role of parents (p-value = 0,0001) and reproductive health knowledge (p-value = 0,0001) with pre-marital sexual behavior of students in senior high schools.

30% of female adolescents reported their first sexual intercourse at under the age of 15 years old on the grounds of being forced by their partners and 49% of female adolescents could not reject their partner's invitation. The lack of reproductive health information sources is a continuity issue that affects the health status of adolescents. Those who get reproductive health information from the surrounding environment with the same age group and have similar dating experience may increase the risk of misinformation. This research aims to know correlation between the information sources of reproductive health and sexual behavior of adolescents in Indonesia. This quantitative study used cross sectional approach, using data analysis of Indonesian Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey Year 2012 (10,980 men and 8,902 women). The data analysis used Chi Square. It shown with the value of x2 (30,511) with the significance value (p = 0,000 <0,05) and 95% CI. There is a correlation between the information sources of reproductive health and sexual behavior of adolescents in Indonesia. The assessment of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) on planning of WA Gateway based on Android application as Information Center and Adolescent Counseling can be the formulation of health policy with interactive learning media for adolescents.

ABSTRACT According to World Health Organization (WHO), adolescent is a period of a transition from childhood into adulthood. Adolescent reproductive health survey in 2012 women 15-19 years national wide ever had sexual intercourse. Where as the same aged men as many as 6.835 people (4,5%) ever had sexual intercourse. The result of LSM research PKBI in 2005 showed 9,1% junior and senior high school at south Sumatera ever had sexual intercourse. Based on the results of a preliminary study, there were 5 students per class ever acces porn videos.Pair dating school students ever get caught over the limit like holding hands, hugging each other to embrace and 10 students ever get caught holding the breast schoolgirl. Purpose of this research in to know the accociated factors with premarital sexual behavior at Pramula Junior High School Palembang in 2014. This research analytic survey method with cross sectional approach. Population of this research is all of class VII and VIII at Pramula Junior High School Palembang in 2014 as many as 75 student using total sampling technique, this research instrument was questionnaire. Analysis with univariate and bivariate. The results of this research show that 75 respondent who have good premarital sexual 39 respondents (52%), 14 respondents (18,7%) were good knowledge, respondents who good influence parentsas many as 57 respondents (76%). Respondents who have never seen the media pornography 17 respondents (22,7%). The Chi-Square statistic test with significant level α = 0,05 showed there is no significant relationship between knowledge with premarital sexual behavior there is P value = 0,469, There is significant relationship between influence parents with sexual behavior there is P value = 0,009, There is significant relationship between pornography media with premarital sexual behavior there is  P value = 0,043. Of the result, suggested in Pramula Junior High School can add reproductive health lessons     ABSTRAK   Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) masa remaja adalah masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak menuju masa dewasa.Survei Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja 2012 mengungkap wanita diumur 15-19 tahun secara nasional pernah melakukan hubungan seksual. Sedangkan pria di usia yang sama berjumlah 6.835 orang atau 4,5% dari jumlah remaja Indonesia pernah melakukan hubungan seks. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian LSM Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia (PKBI) tahun 2005 menunjukkan 9.1% remaja SMP dan SMA di Sumsel sudah pernah melakukan hubungan seks. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan terdapat sekitar 5 orang siswa per kelas pernah mengakses video porno, sepasang siswa-siswi pernah ketahuan berpacaran lewat batas seperti berpegangan tangan, saling merangkul, hingga berpelukan, dan 10 orang siswa pernah ketahuan memegang payudara lawan jenisnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku seks pranikah di SMP Pramula Palembang Tahun 2014.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua kelas VII dan VIII di SMP Pramula Palembang tahun 2014 sebanyak 75 siswa dengan besar sampel 75 siswa dengan teknik total Sampling, instrumen penelitian yaitu Angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan dari 75 respondent yang memiliki perilaku seks pranikah yang baik sebanyak 39 responden (52%), responden yang berpengetahuan baik 14 responden (18,7%) responden yang Pengaruh Orang Tuanya baik  57 responden (76%), responden yang tidak pernah melihat media pornografi 17 responden (22,7%). Dari uji statistik Chi-Square dengan tingkat Kemaknaan α = 0,05 menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku seks pranikah dimana P value = 0,469, ada hubungan bermakna antara pengaruh orang tua dengan perilaku seks pranikah  di mana P value = 0,009 dan ada hubungan bermakna antara media pornografi dengan perilaku seks pranikah dimana P value = 0,043. Disarankan DI SMP Pramula Palembang dapat menambahkan mata pelajaran tentang pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi.

Background: Most adolescents or teens consider premarital sex behavior is a common and normal activity to do. Parents less able to communicate with their children will provoke conflicts in parents-children relationship and this may lead to impacts on premarital sex behavior in adolescents. Peer friends are also a source of information about sex that is quite significant in the shaping of adolescent knowledge, attitude and sexual behavior. However, information from peers may lead to negative impacts in adolescents such as premarital sex. This activity can lead to unwanted pregnancy, STIs, abortion and school dropouts.Objective: To determine the relationship between the roles of parents and peers in adolescent premarital sexual behavior in SMAN 1, SMA 2, SMK 1 and MAN in Buol.Methods: This study was observational with a cross-sectional design using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The study was held in SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMK 1 and MAN of Buol District in Central Sulawesi with 192 adolescent as the research subjects. In-depth interviews were done to four selected informants.Result and Discussion: The results of bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between the roles of parents and peers in adolescent premarital sexual behavior. Adolescents with low reproductive health information than that of parents have 2 times higher chance to perform high-risk sexual behaviors than adolescents with high reproductive health information than their parents. Adolescents with peers who give bad influence have a 5 times higher risk sexual behavior than teens with peers whose negative influence is lower. The results of this study also showed that there is a relationship between the influence of religiosity and pornographic media associated with high risk sexual behaviorConclusion: High-risk sexual behavior in adolescents is influenced by the parents’ role, poor informations on reproductive health high bad influence from peers is, low religiosity and exposure to pornographic media.Keywords: role of parents, peers, premarital sexual behavior

Premarital sexual behavior among Indonesian adolescents currently becomes easier to be found than previous generation. Based on health survey in 2017, both female and male adolescents admitted that they experienced dating since the aged of 16. Data showed that adolescents who were in relationship admitted having premarital sex than the common adolescents. This study’s objectives was to investigate the correlation between age of first dating and sexual behavior among adolescents and adults in Indonesia. The sample of this study involved respondents of health demographic survey in Indonesia 2012 who fulfilled the inclusion criteria of men and women aged 15-24 years and unmarried. This research was a quantitative research using descriptive analytic research design with cross sectional approach. The age of first dating on adolescents was higher (96.2%) than young adults (3.8%). The numbers of dating teenagers and adults with sexual behavior (90.3%) was higher than those without sexual behavior (9.7%). Chi-Square correlation test results by using 95% of confidence revealed p-value equal to 0.004 0.05 with value of correlation coefficient equal to 0.023 indicating positive and significant correlation. Conclusion: There was correlation between age of first dating and sexual behavior on adolescents and adults in Indonesia.

Banyak remaja yang secara seksual aktif telah melakukan hubungan seks sebelum menikah dan berlsiko kehamilan dan penyakit menular seksual. Kesepakatan Kairo 1994, menyatakan bahwa remaja mempunyai kebebasan berpikir dan berhak membuat keputusan tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Itu berarti bahwa remaja berhak terlibat dalam program Keluarga Berencana (KB) dan mendapat pelayanan kontrasepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengetahuan dan sikap pada remaja putri “gaul” terhadap pemakaian kontrasepsi. Penelitian dengan desain cross sectional ini dilakukan pada remaja putri berumur 15 – 24 tahun yang belum menikah yang biasa nongkrong dan berkumpul pada malam Minggu, di Parkir Timur Senayan, Jakarta Selatan. Sampel diambil dengan Quota Sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa remaja putri “tersebut yang berpengetahuan baik (54,1%) dan bersikap positif terhadap pemakaian kontrasepsi (57,1%). Tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap terhadap pemakaian kontrasepsi. Remaja gaul tersebut memerlukan penyuluhan kesehatan reproduksi, pendidikan seksual dan pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi yang komprehensif dan terintegrasi. Remaja perlu diarahkan untuk berprilaku reproduksi sehat dan tidak bertentangan dengan norma, nilai dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian guna mencari metode perubahan prilaku reproduksi remaja.Kata kunci : Remaja putri, pengetahuan, sikap terhadap pemakaian kontrasepsiAbstractMany sexually active adolescents have been doing premarital sex. Based on the Cairo 1994 commitment, adolescents have freedom to think and have rights to make decision on reproductive health. Therefore, adolescents have rights to involve in the family planning and contraceptive services. The objective of this research is to identify knowledge and attitude on contraceptive use among “sociable” adolescent girls. This research uses cross sectional design with subjects of “sociable” adolescent girl age 15 to 24 years old who usually socialize in Parkir Timur Senayan, Southern Jakarta in Saturday night. Samples were taken by Quota Sampling. The result shows that “sociable” adolescence girl in Parkir Timur Senayan have good knowledge (54,1%) and good attitude of using contraceptive (57, 1%). The result also shows that there is no significant relationship between knowledge and attitude of using contraceptive. Therefore, we need to promote adolescent’s reproductive health, sexual education and programs on adolescent reproductive health service in a comprehensive and integrated ways to improve adolescent reproduction health situation and adhere to religious and cultural norms. There is a need to improve and to refine research methodology in the adolescent reproductive health area.Keywords : Adolescenct girl, knowledge, attitude contraceptive use

range of 10 to 19 years. Adolescents are the population in the age range of 10-18 years. Rapid physical changes and hormonal changes are triggers for sexual motivation. Stimulation from the environment such as TV and the internet about sexual behavior and nutritional factors causes sexual hormones to appear earlier so that adolescents tend to experience sexual development more quickly. The rise of adolescent sexual behavior at this time is increasingly concerning and tends to increase both in terms of the quantity and sharpness of cases that occur.Method: This type of research is an observational analytic with a cross-sectional study design, to analyze the exposure to reproductive health information on adolescent sexual behavior in Sleman Regency. Samples were taken from adolescents who were in class XI SMAN 2 Ngaglik with a purposive sampling technique of 198 students. Data collection using a questionnaire via google form. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyzes.Results: There is a relationship between reproductive health information from parents with adolescent sexual behavior (P value 0.00), there is a relationship between information from peers and adolescent sexual behavior (P value 0.00), there is a relationship between media access and adolescent sexual behavior ( P value 0.06) Adjusted RSquare value = 0.541.Conclusion: Of the three variables, information from parents and from peers has the same relationship with sexual behavior in adolescents, and media access is smaller than the other two variables.
