Abstract: The success of an educational institution in carrying out all learning activities is determined by several supporting factors, and one of the supporting factors is the management factor organized by the institution/institution concerned. Aisyiyah Junior High School Boarding School Malang is one of the educational institutions implementing Boarding School or boarding systems. The purpose of this study was to determine how the curriculum management function at Aisyiyah Boarding School in Malang. This research is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation, and interviews. Based on the results of the study shows that in the application of the curriculum in SMP ABSM integrates the national curriculum, the pesantren curriculum, and the Muhammadiyah curriculum which is carried out in full to produce graduates with national standards, aqidah, ahlaq, and fiqh by the demands of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The curriculum management implemented at SMP ABSM covers the process planning (determination of vision, mission, and goals that are adjusted to 3 curricula, namely the national curriculum, pesantren curriculum, and Muhammadiyah's unique curriculum). Organizing (including parts of activities or programs needed to achieve goals, and dividing tasks according to their respective work assignments). Implementation (in its implementation integrating national curriculum, namely KTSP and K13, pesantren curriculum, and Muhammadiyah curriculum). Pengorganisasian (mencakup bagian-bagian kegiatan atau program yang diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan,  dan membagi tugas sesuai dengan tugas kerjanya masing-masing). Pelaksanaan (dalam pelaksanaannya mengintegrasikan antara kurikulum nasional yaitu KTSP dan K13, kurikulum pesantren dan kurikulu Muhammadiyah). Evaluasi (evaluasi yang dilaksanakan terkait program sekolah secara keseluruhan dan dilaksanakan setiap sebulan sekali sedangkan evaluasi yang terkait dengan pelaksanaan kurikulum dilakukan setiap hari karena di dalam RPP guru terdapat refleksi untuk evaluasi).Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Kurikulum, dan Boarding School

The existence of formal schools under Pesantren (traditional Islamic education) foundation is interesting, because they have unique characters comparing to other schools in general, whereas each Pesantren has its own peculiarity. One of them is Senior High School of Selamat Modern Pesantren, Kendal. This article describes the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in that school based on qualitative research in 2017. The research result indicated that the implementation of Curriculum 2013 established an integrated curriculum from national Curriculum 2013, learning materials from Ministry of Religious affair and unique vision of the modern Selamat Pesantren itself. So there was a combination between the Curriculum 2013, the materials form Ministry of Religious affair which is more Islamic in nature and the programs from boarding system that enrich the student character building and knowledge. Moreover, in this research teachers are central regarding to their position as student’s facilitator and companion, particularly those who actively accompany the dormitory activities. Abstrak Keberadaan sekolah-sekolah formal di bawah naungan yayasan pesantren menarik untuk dikaji, karena pasti memiliki kekhasan tersendiri dibanding sekolahsekolah lain pada umumnya. Terlebih tiap pesantren memiliki kekhasan masingmasing. Salah satu modelnya adalah di Sekolah Menengah Atas Pondok Modern Selamat, Kendal. Artikel ini menggambarkan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah tersebut didasarkan pada penelitian berpendekatan kualitatif yang telah dilaksanakan pada 2017. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di SMA Unggulan Pondok Modern Selamat, Kendal, menunjukkan karakteristik unik berupa kurikulum yang terpadu antara kurikulum nasional, muatan materi dari Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), dan visi khas dari yayasan pondok pesantren Selamat. Dengan demikian terdapat kombinasi antara orientasi Kurikulum 2013 yang bersifat umum, materi dari Kemenag yang berorientasi memberi bekal ilmu-ilmu keislaman, dan ditunjang oleh program di asrama yang memperkaya pembentukan karakter siswa dan pengayaan penguasaan pengetahuan siswa. Lebih lanjut, guru perannya sangat sentral dalam implementasi kurikulum yang terpadu di sekolah ini karena diposisikan sebagai pendamping siswa, terutama guru-guru yang juga aktif mendampingi kegiatan asrama. ABSTRACT This research has a background which is about education in Indonesia. Where in Indonesia has a variety of educational institutions ranging from elementary school (elementary), junior high school (SMP), high school (high school), and tertiary education (PT). However, in reality, Indonesia has a unique educational institution and only exists in Indonesia, namely pesantren. The pesantren has various models and variations ranging from traditional pesantren (salafi) and modern pesantren (khalafi). The formulation of the problem of this research are (1) What is the concept of Modern Islamic Boarding School education of Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang, Bogor? (2) how is the implementation of the modern Islamic boarding school concept of Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang, Bogor? While the purpose of this study is (1) To know the educational concept of Modern Islamic Boarding School Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang, Bogor. (2) Knowing how to implement the modern Islamic boarding school concept of Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang, Bogor. In this study the authors use the type of library research or library research is research conducted using literature (literature) in the form of books, notes, or reports on the results of previous studies. In addition, this study also uses a qualitative approach. Where data is collected using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman analysis model which includes four interrelated components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Modern Islamic Boarding School Concept of Ummul Quro Al-Islami Leuwiliang, Bogor has three basic concepts, namely the government education curriculum, in this case the Ministry of Religion, salafi pesantren education, and Gontor pesantren education. Of the three curricula, the best is then combined, so that the new curriculum is integrated, which is the concept of the modern Islamic boarding school Umm al-Quro Al-Islami. Leadership has an important role in the educational institutions. The increasing number of implementation models of integrative Islamic education institutions demand greater competence of the leaders in order to perform their duties effectively. The most complex integrative Islamic educational institution model is developed based on boarding school by integrating formal and nonformal education as well as cross ladder as developed by Al Mukmin Islamic Boarding School (PPIM) Ngruki and modern boarding schools in general. The result of this study shows that the effective leadership model of an integrative Islamic educational institution is a democratic-transformational model. This model needs the institutional leaders to have professional, personal, social, and spiritual competences. The integration of the educational institutions management should be done thoroughly starting from the integration of curriculum management, human resources, infrastructure, financing, public relations and marketing, and other aspects.

The phenomenon of boarding school has evolved since the 1990s. In addition to having advantages, the school also has barriers in the learning process. Therefore, the need to explore some information directly related to the reasons why boarding school is developed, students’ life in school together and the learning process that occurred. The research method is used  a qualitative approach. Schools in this study are limited to Islamic boarding schools at junior high school level in grade VII. The research procedure is undertaken to find the phenomenon of research subjects that occurred at boarding schools. The validity of data in this research uses source and method triangulation techniques, namely by checking phenomena obtained from observations, interviews with parents, interviews with students, interviews with teachers, and interviews with teachers dormitories. The general conclusion regarding Islamic-based boarding schools is that the school has become the choice of parents in educating their children to gain abilities in the religious and academic fields. In mathematics learning, the teachers prefer direct approach learning rather than indirect learning, and also most of them do not use a lesson plan as teaching guides. Therefore, the school must be able to choose and apply a learning approach oriented to the conditions of diversity that occur in boarding schools so that students have no difficulty in receiving the subject matter.

This paper describes the Curriculum Management Approach in Creating a Superior School. A superior school is an educational institution that is able to bring each of its students to achieve measurable abilities and be able to demonstrate their accomplishments. To arrive at this stage, there are several components that must be implemented by each school including curriculum management. The curriculum occupies a very strategic position in a school. The curriculum is a guideline in the learning process. However, formulating a curriculum is not an easy job, the use of a curriculum that is not appropriate in a school or madrasah is also a reason why the failure of a school reaches a superior level. There are several approaches that can be implemented as an effort in creating superior schools, namely the subject of academic approach, humanistic approach, social approach, and competency approach.   Keywords: Superior schools, curriculum management, curriculum approach

Potential Early childhood can be developed through proper planning, implementation and evaluation of the learning curriculum. This paper is a qualitative study which carried out in-depth observations at TKIT Islahul Ummah Prabumulih City. The results obtained indicate that PAUD learning activities begin with 1) curriculum planning starting from meetings attended by all educators, making annual and semester program curriculum plans as well as the design of weekly activities and the design of daily activities; 2) curriculum implementation has used in door activity and out door activity; 3) curriculum evaluation is carried out periodically and has been set a time, every once a month parents of students are invited to discuss and talk about learning that has been done one month before. This paper provides new insight for implementation of curriculum management for early childhood education should refer to the national curriculum with additional Islamic religious material where we could have character building for our student.

Ibnu Qayyim Islamic Boarding school is a formal educational institution, located in Walannae Village, Tanete Riattang Subdistrict, Bone Regency.This boarding school has two levels of education, namely Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMP IT) Technology and Vocational High School (SMK) with the department of Network Computer Engineering. The purpose of KKN STIBA Makassar class IV is to carry out community service which is one of the tri dharma pillars of higher education. The method of community service implementation in the cottage begins with mapping the problems and needs of students by using instruments made independently combined with SOAR analysis. After conducting a needs analysis, the next stage is the preparation of an adaptive work program with cottage conditions. Among the work programs implemented by students of KKN STIBA Makassar class IV is Daurah Fikih Salat. The result of the implementation of this KKN is the improvement of the understanding of students around taharah and prayer that is seen in the ordinances of wudoo' and prayer movements that are getting better and right.

The objectives of this study are as follows; 1) To know the implementation of the National Curriculum at SMPIT Al-Ma'arif Ponpes Al-Qur'an Bany Salim; 2) To know the implementation of the Ponpes Curriculum at SMPIT Al-Ma'arif Ponpes Al-Qur'an Bany Salim; 3) To know the implementation of the integration of the National Curriculum and the Ponpes Curriculum at SMPIT Al-Ma'arif Ponpes Al-Qur'an Bany Salim in improving the morals of the students; 4) To determine the inhibiting and supporting factors in SMPIT Al-Ma'arif; This thesis research is included in field research, namely research activities carried out in a certain environment, in this case it will be conducted at SMPIT Al-Ma'arif Ponpes Al-quran Bany Salim. In this study, this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, where the researcher digs up data related to the Implementation of the National Curriculum and the Modern Islamic Boarding School Curriculum in Improving Santri Morals (Research in Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT Al-Ma'arif) Pondok Pesantren Al. -Qur'an Bany Salim Kramatwatu, Serang Regency) and describes the data in accordance with the research focus presented to clarify the purpose of the research. So the results of this study are for the implementation of the Islamic Boarding School Curriculum given the same face-to-face time as the National curriculum. In the past, the National Curriculum was put in the morning hours and the Pondok Curriculum was put in the afternoon hours, but now there is no difference in meaning between the Pesantren Curriculum and the National Curriculum being put together or random face-to-face hours. So if we discuss the school curriculum or curriculum at SMPIT Al-Ma'arif Bany Salim, there are 2 (two), the first is the national curriculum and the second is the boarding school curriculum set by the boarding school leader.
