Green school as mentioned in Thakur S. Powdyel’s book My Green School: An Outline (2014) was developed to support the initiative ‘Educating for Gross National Happiness’, conceived in 2009 by the Ministry of Education, Bhutan. This is to realize the need for holistic development of individuals and for the fulfilment of the true purpose of education. However, the green school domain requires deeper understanding in correlation with the nine domains of Gross National Happiness philosophy to unsettle the hollowness and reductionism of modern education. Therefore, the paper attempts to explore how the process of holistic learning and wholesome education become the key to understand the principles of life, by analysing the concentric sense of the green school concept constituting eight dimensions represented as ‘Sherig Mandala’. The inherent meanings of the elements of greenery categorized as natural, social, cultural, intellectual, academic, aesthetic, spiritual and moral have been closely examined to revitalize the claims of education.

The range of researched materials includes realized projects, models, sketches, exhibitions, workbooks, scientific publications, design periodicals, interviews and memoirs. New names and artworks were introduced into scientific circulation. Materials of professional periodicals in the context of the chosen topic were generalized. Peculiarities of Igor Ostapenko’s creative and pedagogical positions are determined on the basis of the analysis of these materials. Main factors influencing the formation of his propaedeutic courses Theory of Composition and Fundamentals of Shaping are highlighted. Parallels with the concepts of educational process of leading design institutions are established. The continuity of creative principles of Kharkiv Art School founders and Igor Ostapenko’s activity is revealed. Such main features of the workshop as laconism of expressive means, artistic figurativeness, attention to the texture and natural qualities of materials can be traced in creative works of the teacher and his students. Conformity of creative and pedagogical achievements of Igor Ostapenko and his students with the “Art School” concept is substantiated. It includes system unity of art and project principles, methods and techniques of their realization, presence of significant achievements and their recognition by domestic and world professional community. It is emphasized that the work of the workshop is one of the representative phenomena in design education of Ukraine during its independence.

Rapidly changing social, economic and cultural environment, the development of digital technologies, the global pandemic that broke out in 2020 and demographic challenges increase society’s need for constant change and improvement. Against the background of these challenges, the need to provide every member of society with equal opportunities for development is emphasized. This is an essential principle of inclusive education. Global and national documents emphasizing the need for inclusive education call for strengthening the ability of education to connect with all learners with behavioral, psychological, physiological or special abilities, regardless of nationality, social status, emphasis on respect for, access to and care for educational diversity, its change and growth. Inclusive education is best defined by the principles of the Good School Characteristics. Therefore, in this work, inclusive education is understood as an educational process characterized by the principles of the Good School Concept. As in all areas of our lives, the successful implementation of the educational process is undoubtedly influenced by digital multimedia technologies. There are often questions about the coherence between the technologies chosen and the process. Therefore, the possibilities of applying of multimedia technologies with inclusive education were chosen as the object of the article. The aim of the research is to evaluate the research areas of researchers analyzing the possibilities of multimedia technologies on the basis of the analysis of scientific literature, which are in line with the essential principles of inclusive education. The study concludes that the quality and values of educators’ competencies become particularly important in inclusive settings, but that there is a lack of formal research that has a direct impact on students’ achievements, social and emotional well-being and personal development. Multimedia technologies can be a great tool to achieve the goals of inclusive education; the attention of researchers working with technologies related to multimedia (sound, image, computer graphics, interactivity of the mentioned media) to pedagogical goals is particularly poor.

The paper focuses on various concepts deepening the term of „security“, on the Copenhagen school concept of societal sector of security, but also human security and the application of the acculturation theory. Human security is a concept, in which the deepening of contents of the term „security“ goes from a macro-level to a micro-level. The traditional concept of security takes into account only the state level and understands threats only to the state in itself, whereas human security redirects the attention towards the individual people. Societal sector, on the other hand, speaks of non-military threats to society and deepens the security concept even further. Based on the assumption, that the extent of risks to the receiving state depends on the effectiveness of incorporation of immigrants, the goal of the article is to apply the acculturation to the process of incorporation of immigrants into the majority population in order to minimize the negative impacts stemming from immigration.

Malaysia is band together not just by culture, patriotism, and government efforts but also by a shared understanding of many faiths. But, the future seems to be unsafe due to economic, social and environmental vulnearability in recent times. To overcome this situation, we must proclaim our duty to one another, to the larger community of life, and future generations, mainly via the practice of our faith. Racial solidarity should be fostered via culture and religion. Unity through understanding diverse religions and cultural practices can be fortified via education such as vision school concept, teacher’s role at the school and the education system.

Palavras-chave Geografia, Escola, Objeto, Ação   THE NATURE OF SCHOOL SPACE: contributions of Geography to the school concept of among object and action systems Abstract This text aims to introduce the discussion about the social inequality established and located in the Brazilian national territory and notably in the São Paulo state. Inequality will be investigated through geographic interpretation, above all, by reading, analyzing and approximating the concepts of the great Brazilian geographer, Milton Santos. The first effort, therefore, is to understand aspects of his theory, generally allocated between physical geography and human geography. However, the initiative to substantiate the approach through this theoretical-methodological assumption, has the ultimate objective of showing how the building and the School itself, in general parameters, have become, since its strategic planning, with engineering and architecture assumptions, contribution for the formation of the landscape of a given territory, whether in the periphery or in the center, but also a contribution to the maintenance of an unequal status quo in the dynamics of social relations. Therefore, from Structuralism, it is intended to contribute to a greater understanding of the basic determinations and, sometimes invisible, of the influence of Capital society with regard to social stratification through the school as locus.
