This article aims to discuss about the importance of Information Technology in overcoming the Covid-19 virus. Information technology will continue to grow in line with the fast number of internet users. Based on the data obtained, it reaches that there are 175.4 million internet users in Indonesia. Based on the results of qualitative analysis, by direct observation, it can be concluded that the internet has become a medium that provides information to the public about the dangers and prevention efforts of COVID 19. However, the weaknesses of information technology included that the difficulty of filtering correct or wrong information. So, the users must sort and respond to any information from internet technology. The public needs to be aware of the covid-19 virus outbreak which has spread to hundreds of countries in the world, including Indonesia. Therefore, information technology should reach remote villages. With regard to the health aspect, information technology should reach out to the health center units and integrated with urban hospitals.

The very rapid development of information technology has proven to play an important role in the accelerated development of information both in the world of industry, government and the world of health, so that it can support the performance of increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of all elements of society, especially in the world of health, both public and private institutions. or individually or individually, which can encourage the realization of a developed and prosperous society. The health sector is one of the important sectors of development that has the potential to be integrated with the presence of technology. Public health center Bayur Lor. Cilamaya Kulon, Karawang Regency is one of the developing health service centers. The number of patients that continues to increase every day causes new problems in the process of seeking information about patients, the number of patients, the number of visits, total income, and data on existing drug supplies. Because based on the existing problems, the Public health center Bayur Lor. Cilamaya Kulon, Karawang Regency, needs to take advantage of information technology, which can overcome the problems faced, so that public health services can be improved for the realization of the vision and mission of the Public health center Bayur Lor. Cilamaya Kulon. Looking at some of the existing problems, researchers use the waterfall method in making an information system. Applications made in this study are based on android. To facilitate the mention of this application, namely Android-based LAGILEMAS (Public health center Digital Service).

Abstract The potential impact of the internet on women’s empowerment can be identified in a variety of ways. The internet can provide diverse avenues for women’s social, political and economic empowerment and valuable sites can help with education, health, information and awareness of human rights in the public and the private spheres. Beyond these parameters the internet is also an open gate to the world, one that allows women to join global networks from the confines of their homes and break the boundaries of closed societies. In this article, we explore the changes the internet has brought to the lives of Iranian women. Drawing on interviews with a group of Iranian women who are active internet users in Tehran, we address how they understand and perceive digital empowerment.

E-commerce in today's world has become one of the most essential parts of everyday life. Particularly for urban areas, the accessibility to platforms of e-commerce is not just an opportunity but rather a necessity for most people. In 2014, nearly 75% (2.1 billion) of all internet users in the world (2.8 billion) lived in top 20 countries. The remaining 25% (0.7 billion) were distributed among the other 178 countries, each representing less than 1% of total users. China, the country with the most users (642 million in 2014), represents nearly 22% of the total and has more users than the next three countries—United States, India, and Japan—combined. The growth of the e-commerce industry is not only indicative of the increasing openness of the public but has also brought to the front the issues that the legal system of the country has been faced with. The legal system has constantly tried to be updated especially with the enactment of IT Act to deal with lots of issues emerging from the use of the internet.

Indonesia adalah negara dengan pengguna internet yang tidak bisa dianggap remeh. Menurut sebuah survei, pada tahun 2018 Indonesia menduduki peringkat keempat di dunia dalam lamanya penggunaan waktu untuk berinternet dalam sehari, yaitu 8 jam 51 menit. Maraknya penggunaan internet di Indonesia ini masih belum dibarengi dengan kualitas yang baik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi ini. Pemanfaatan internet di Indonesia yang mayoritas digunakan untuk media sosial dan gaya hidup ini juga dibayangi-bayangi dengan tingkat kejahatan dan penyalahgunaan yang mengkhawatirkan. Dengan latar belakang kondisi tersebut, tulisan ini akan menyoroti aspek-aspek nilai yang memengaruhi pola pikir, sikap dan perilaku pengguna internet dari sudut pandang etika Kristen, yaitu dalam hal kesejatian relasi, pengolahan informasi, otoritas kebenaran, serta identitas dan integritas pengguna. Kata-kata kunci: Teknologi Informasi, Internet, Etika, Konsep Nilai, Relasi, Kebenaran, Identitas, Integritas   The number of regular internet users in the country of Indonesia should not be underestimated. At the year of 2018 it was noted that Indonesia was ranked fourth in the world in the length of time spent on the internet in a day; a total of 8 hours 51 minutes. The rise of internet use in Indonesia is not undergirded by a good quality connection in utilizing this form of information technology. The use of the Internet in Indonesia, the majority of which is used for social media and lifestyle, is also overshadowed by alarming crime and abuse rates. Keeping these observations in mind, this paper will highlight the values that influence the mindset, attitudes and behavior of internet users from the standpoint of Christian ethics, namely in terms of authenticity of relations, information processing, truth authority, and user identity and integrity. There is a tendency, particularly among Western pundits and technologists, to examine the Internet in almost universally positive terms; this is most evident in any discussion of the medium’s capacity for democratization. While the Internet has produced many great things for society in terms of cultural and economic production, some consideration must be given to the implications that such a revolutionary medium holds for the public sphere. By creating a communicative space that essentially grants everyone his or her own microphone, the Internet is fragmenting public discourse due to the proliferation of opinions and messages and the removal of traditional gatekeepers of information. More significantly, because of the structural qualities of the Internet, users no longer have to expose themselves to opinions and viewpoints that fall outside their own preconceived notions. This limits the robustness of the public sphere by limiting the healthy debate that can only occur when exposed to multiple viewpoints. Ultimately, the Internet is not going anywhere, so it is important to equip the public with the tools and knowledge to be able to navigate the digital space.

This study aimed to identify the role of Internet technology in transforming the role of its users to promoters of medical products in Jordan. The study found that there are statistically significant effects of independent variables (multipurpose and advanced Internet programs, reduced costs of the use of Internet programs, collective and interactive communication via the Internet, and Internet information abundance and variety of its resources) on the dependent factor, which is transformation of the role of Internet users to promoters of medical products in Jordan. The study recommended increasing attention on networks to promote medical products in Jordan. This is consistent with the fact that promotion via networks has become an effective way to support and enhance the image of products and its delivery to the target group in all markets around the world.
