This research dealt with the analysis of Code-Switching Utterances of Public Figures’ Vlog In YouTube Channel. The objectives were to determine code-switching and the types of code-switching used by the public figures and the guests. The researcher focused on the application of Intra- sentential (74 cases), Inter-sentential (85 cases) and Extra/Tag code-switching (26 cases). A descriptive qualitative method was taken to analyze the data from four videos on YouTube published in March 2019 until November 2019. The finding showed that public figures and the guests used code-switching, which included 185 cases. There were seven reasons of public figures switched the language; 75 data of talking about a particular topic, 2 data of quoting somebody else, 1 data of  being emphatic about something, 13 data of interjection (inserting sentence filler or sentence connector), 27 data of repetition of clarification, 63 data of intention for clarifying the speech content for the interlocutor, and 4 data of expressing group identity.

This research focused on the analysis of the types of code-mixing and code-switching between Maudy Ayunda and Robert in the interview in Perspektif Metro TV on Monday 30th December 2019. The researcher applied sociolinguistic theory, especially the theories on types and reasons of code-mixing and code-switching proposed by Hoffman (1991) and how many codes in their utterances based on Myers-Scotton theory (2006). This research applied the descriptive qualitative method. After analyzing the data, there are 71 cases of code-mixing and 68 cases of code-switching. For the types of code-mixing, there is 63 intra-sentential, 15 intra-lexical and 3 involving a change in pronunciation. For types of code-switching, there is 64 inter-sentential, and 4 are established with the previous speaker. For the reasons of code-mixing/code-switching, the researcher found 31 data of talking about a particular topic, 1 data of quoting somebody else, 2 being emphatic about something, 6 of repetition used for classification and 1 of clarifying the speech content for the interlocutor. For the matrix in code-mixing, Indonesian 82% as matrix language and English 18% as an embedded language, and in code-switching, Indonesian 54% as matrix language and English 46%as an embedded language.

This research studied about the kinds of propaganda expressions and what messages are conveyed through the propaganda expressions in Angel and Demon novel by Dan Brown. The research used the propaganda theory by Harold Laswell, that divided in four kinds; agitation, integration, horizontally and vertically propaganda. In the methodology of research, the writer used descriptive qualitative method and intrinsic and extrinsic approach. In this research, the writer found there are some expressions that contain agitation propaganda, integration propaganda, horizontally propaganda and vertically propaganda that could be giving influence to the reader. In general, an expression of propaganda in “Angel and Demon” novel by Dan Brown wants to change the mindset of people towards their views to the brotherhood of the „Illuminati. The novel attempts to explain the history of the birth of a conflict between the Christian and the „Illuminati‟ and how much influence they had been, the author packed them into a dialogue delivered by characters that are in the novel in which there are propaganda expressions. The implication of this research as a information to the public that a novel is not only use full as a reading at leisure or entertainment, but the novel can also be functioning as media of propaganda.

This research aims to describe sentence production errors especially pause and tongue slips in the 2018 Student Constitutional Debate Competition. The benefits of research for the researcher are to deepen knowledge about language, especially errors in the production of sentences, and for the reader to give knowledge to the public about the study of psycholinguistics in producing a sentence and broaden the insight into language about sentence production. Descriptive qualitative method was used in this study. This research used source data of 2018 Student Constitutional Debate Competition semifinal one and final one video. In this study the tapping technique was used for the data collection technique. Based on the results of data management and analysis, the sentence production errors contained in the 2018 Student Constitution Debate Contest video are (1) Breathing pause, (2) Doubt pause, (3) Malaproprism, (4) Transposition tongue slip, (5) Anticipation tongue slip, (6) Perseveration tongue slip. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan produksi kalimat terutama senyapan dan kilir lidah pada Lomba Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa Tahun 2018. Manfaat penelitian bagi peneliti adalah untuk memperdalam pengetahuan mengenai bahasa khususnya kesalahan produksi kalimat dan bagi pembaca yaitu untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang kajian Psikolinguistik dalam memproduksi suatu kalimat serta memperluas wawasan kebahasaan mengenai produksi kalimat. Dalam penelitian digunakan metode berupa desktiptif kualitatif. Penelitian menggunakan sumber data berupa video Lomba Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa tahun 2018 babak semifinal satu dan final satu. Penelitian menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik sadap catat. Berdasarkan hasil pengelolaan dan analisis data, kesalahan produksi kalimat yang terdapat dalam video Lomba Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa Tahun 2018 yaitu (1) Senyapan pernapasan, (2) Senyapan keraguan, (3) Kilir lidah malaproprisme, (4) Kilir lidah transposisi, (5) Kilir lidah antisipasi, (6) Kilir lidah perseverasi. This research is descriptive qualitative research using the feminist literary criticism approach. The subject of this research are three novels by Okky Madasari which are titled: 1) Maryam, 2) 86, and 3) Entrok. The technique of data collecting used in this research is to study the library read the note, conducted by reading carefully and repeated thoroughly and classifying the data obtained based on women’s image. Analyzing data in this research use the descriptive qualitative method. The research finding in the form of physical women’s image, the image of women’s psychic and the role of women consisting of domestic and public areas. Domestic roles include as a child, wife, and mother. The role of women in the public domain consists of the educator, economic, and social movement sectors.

Abstract: This research is intended to find out how effective this PSC program is in improving emergency services in Tulungagung Regency and the inhibiting factors in providing services to the community. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a deductive approach. The research data was collected using interview techniques, documentation and observation. Based on the research that has been done, the author concludes that the Effectiveness of the Public Safety Center (PSC) Program in improving emergency services in Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province has been effective enough, seen from 5 dimensions namely Production, Efficiency , Satisfaction, Adaptation and Development has been going well, although there are still some problems in terms of cross-sectoral cooperation that has not been maximized and facilities that are still not fulfilled.  Keywords: Efectiveness, Emergency, Public Safety Center, Services.

<p>The objectives of this research are to find the types of code switching used in the novel and to describe the reasons influencing the use of code switching in the novel. This research used descriptive qualitative method; this method used to describe clearly about the fact of code switching weather the form and the reasons based on the data that gained through reading the whole contain of the novel. Analysis focused on three types of code swtiching (inter-sentential switching, intra-sentential switching and tag-switching) and the reasons of code switching. The<strong> </strong>results of the analysis revealed that mostly inter-sentential switching of utterance used in this novel. </p>

This study analyzed the implementation of code switching by an announcer or broadcaster in one of the broadcast programs namely Musik Aktifitas program at Radio Suara Kancanta 100,3 fm ,Lombok Timur. The objectives of this study were (1) find the type of code used in Musik Aktifitas programs (2) determine the frequency of the most dominant use of code by the announcer or broadcasterin Musik Aktifitas program. ) Identify the factors behind that made the broadcaster used the code switching in that program. To obtain the data in a descriptive qualitative study, the writer use a recording technique followed by in-depth interviews with the broadcaster of Musik Aktifitas program to determine the background  or the reasons of  using code switching . The results of this study indicate that (1) there were kinds of code used in Musik Aktifitas program namely  tag switching, intrasentensial switching and intersentensial switching (2) types of code which most predominantly used by broadcasters in Musik Aktifitas program was tag switching (45, 65% ), followed by intrasentensial switching (43.48%) and Intersentensial switching (10.87%). There were (6) reasons why the broadcaster of Musik Aktifitas program used in that program as follows : 1. Talking about particular topic  ,2. Quoting Somebody else ,3. Being emphatic about something ,4. Sentence fillers or sentence connectors 5.Expressing group identity and 6. Real lexical need.

<p><em>The purpose of the research are kind of code-switching and code-mixing, the factor of the result from the code-switching and code-mixing; and the role of the code-switching and code-mixing in the Indonesian lerning of the seventh F class SMP N 2 Brangsong, Kendal regency. </em><em>The research used descriptive qualitative method with </em><em>case study </em><em>approach.The research used purposive sampiling and snow ball sampling, then the technique of the collecting data by record, report, and interview. Validity test is triangulation theory.The result of the research are: the first, find out 12 code-switching in the javanese is four times and from Arab is 8 times; the second, find out the code-mixing consist of 44 times divided to be Indonesian dialeg from Jakarta is 12 times and english is 6 times; the third, factor of the result from the code-switching and code mixing from the research devided to be 5 factors (a) personal and speaker, (b) the partner of the speech, (c) the place, (d) topic, and (e) function and purpose</em><em>.</em></p>

Since Covid-19 broke out in Indonesia, the public has monitored various government policies in dealing with these health disasters. However, policies run slowly; it gives rise to diverse public opinion. These multiple opinions become a form of communication between the government and society. However, the government does not fully capture people’s views, so people feel they do not receive government policies’ feedback. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Indonesian government’s public communication is in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. The research used a descriptive qualitative method using data during Covid-19. This study explains how the debate of government and community communication occurs in the form of public opinion. Various forms of public opinion from adverse to positive states become message instruments aimed at the government. This instrument then forms communication in the form of action as a sense of moral panic due to the absence of a back answer to the opinion expressed. So, these opinions are only as answers and realized by society in phenomena.

This study aimed to analyzethe types and functions of code switching used by the actors and actress in Indonesian movie entitled “Bridezilla”. This study used descriptive qualitative method. In collecting the data, this study used document analysis method with checklist analysis form and taking a note as the instruments used. There 5 were steps done in order tocollect the data, such as watching movie, giving mark in the checklist analysis form, taking a note, giving explanation and conclusion based on the results of analysis. It was found that in “Bridezilia” movie consisted ofcode switching in 35 dialogs, there were three types of code switching, such as Tag-Switching13 dialogs, Inter-Sentential 10 dialogs and Intra-Sentential Switching in 12 dialogs. Meanwhile, there were 2 functions of code switching existed in the movie. It can be concluded that the existence of code switching in Indonesian movie indicating that the other language has big impact toward the first language.
