The work presents the equations of the theory of symmetrical plates, resting on one-way, single-layer, two-parameter Vlasov’s subsoil. Two cases of differential equation solution of the plate deflection of thin and medium thickness on the ground substrate were analyzed depending on the size of the integral characteristics UÖD and 6ÖD. The example of loading the circular plate with a Pk load evenly distributed over the edge was considered and shows dimensionless graphs of deflection, bending torques and transverse forces in the plate and in the ground subsoil. The effect of the Poisson’s coefficient of the plate on deflection values and cross-sectional forces was investigated. The Poisson’s number has been shown to have a significant influence on deflection values and bending torque, however shown negligible effect on transverse forces values.

Rotating friction circular plates are the main components of a friction clutch. The vibration and temperature field of these friction circular plates in high speed affect the clutch operation. This study investigates the thermoelastic coupling vibration and stability of rotating friction circular plates. Firstly, based on the middle internal forces resulting from the action of normal inertial force, the differential equation of transverse vibration with variable coefficients for an axisymmetric rotating circular plate is established by thin plate theory and thermal conduction equation considering deformation effect. Secondly, the differential equation of vibration and corresponding boundary conditions are discretized by the differential quadrature method. Meanwhile, the thermoelastic coupling transverse vibrations with three different boundary conditions are calculated. In this case, the change curve of the first two-order dimensionless complex frequencies of the rotating circular plate with the dimensionless angular speed and thermoelastic coupling coefficient are analyzed. The effects of the critical dimensionless thermoelastic coupling coefficient and the critical angular speed on the stability of the rotating circular plate with simply supported and clamped edges are discussed. Finally, the relation between the critical divergence speed and the dimensionless thermoelastic coupling coefficient is obtained. The results provide the theoretical basis for optimizing the structure and improving the dynamic stability of friction clutches.

Finite difference method in solving classic problems in theory of plates is considered a standard one [1], [2], [3], [4]. The above refers mainly to solutions in right-angle coordinates. For circular plates, for which the use of polar coordinates is the best option, the question of classic plate deflection gets complicated. In accordance with mathematical rules the passage from partial differentials to final differences seems firm. Still final formulas both for the equation (1), as well as for border conditions of circular plate obtained in this study and in the study [3] differ considerably. The paper describes in detail necessary mathematical calculations. The final results are presented in identical form as in the study [3]. Difference of results as well as the length of arm in passage from partial differentials to finite differences for mixed derivatives are discussed. Generalizations resulting from these discussions are presented. This preliminary proceeding has the purpose of searching for solutions to technical problems in machine building and construction, in particular finding a solution to the question of distribution of load along contact line in worm gearing.

Preliminary : Endothelial cells are a single layer that lines the entire vascular system. Endothelial dysfunction can be triggered by several main things, namely physical stress, oxidative stress and irritant substances. Obesity triggers an inflammatory process and metabolic disorders that will lead to increased oxidative stress. Long-term oxidative stress will cause damage to cells and tissues and trigger degenerative diseases. Damage to endothelial cells is expected to be detected by examining Von Willenbrand levels so that it can prevent complications of vascular disorders early. Method: This research is descriptive with cross sectional design. Carried out from March to October 2018 on the USU Campus. The first examination was done to measure body weight and height to determine body mass index, then performed lipid profile and blood sugar levels (KGD) in the sample, then examined von Willenbrand factor levels carried out in the integrated laboratory of USU FK using the method ELISA in both the sample group and the control group. The research subjects were adolescents aged 17-25 years with BMI> 25 kg / m2Data analysis was carried out using the T-Test statistical program, comparing two groups. Result: Of the 40 obese subjects found Von Wilenbrand level values The lowest factor was 1.78 IU / ml and the highest was 35.60 IU / ml. Whereas in 40 non-obese subjects Von Wilenbrand grade values were the lowest factor of 2.01 IU / ml and the highest was 45.10 IU / ml. This difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.661).Conclusion: There was no significant difference between the levels of Von Wilenbrand Factors in obese subjects with non-obese subjectsKey Words: Obesity, endothelial cells, Von Wilenbrand Factors

This research paper is aimed to explore the influence of personality traits on stress management. As for the achievement of organizational goals, the management has to be assured that its’ employees are not stressed due to any reason for productive outcomes. Stress is unavoidable in any organization especially if it belongs to the teaching sector. However, students and teachers are normally found under stress because of the demanding environment that is generated in physical schools and classrooms. For this purpose, this study has examined to what extent personality traits including extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience influence stress management. This leads to the fact which personality traits of employers especially those that belong to educational institutes can manage their stress and how their personality affects them to take decisions at the time of stress. This research article proposed a descriptive methodology in which cross-sectional data are randomly collected from the different public higher educational universities of Sindh, Pakistan. For the data collection, the survey questionnaire is applied. After the process of data cleaning, 252 responses of teaching faculty as respondents were found accurate for further analysis. By applying the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 26.0 the data was data analyzed. The results of Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analysis showed that agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience have a positive and significant influence on stress management. On the other hand, extroversion and neuroticism have not found a significant influence on stress management. This research study may provide useful insights for policymakers and top management in public higher educational institutions like universities to identify the stress management strategies that are implemented by the management of education institutions to manage workplace stress among the teaching faculty. Keywords: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism, Openness to Experience and Stress Management.

Summary:The basic theory of the compressible non-swirling rotational flows through ducts with varying hub radii, associated with the concept of actuator discs, is described. The problem is simplified by considering a single-parameter in the radial velocity profile. Particular attention is given to the combined effects of the taper of inside walls and also of compressibility on the radial velocity and the axial velocity profile. The derived ordinary differential equation with non-homogeneous terms can be reduced to the well-known formula of classical actuator disc theories for the cylindrical passage. A numerical example is also presented.

Longitudinal natural vibration frequencies of rods (or bars) with variable cross-sections are obtained from the exact solutions of differential equation of motion based on transformation method. For the rods having cross-section variations as power of the sinusoidal functions ofax+b, the differential equation is reduced to associated Legendre equation by using the appropriate transformations. Frequency equations of rods with certain cross-section area variations are found from the general solution of this equation for different boundary conditions. The present solutions are benchmarked by the solutions available in the literature for the special case of present cross-sectional variations. Moreover, the effects of cross-sectional area variations of rods on natural characteristics are studied with numerical examples.
