The delivery on time is not possible without the good-quality planning of deadlines, i.e. planning of the manufacturing process duration. The study of flow coefficient enables the realistic forecasting of the manufacturing process duration. This paper points to the significance of the study of flow coefficient on scientific basis so as to determine the terms of the end of the manufacture of chairs made of sawn timber. Chairs are the products of complex construction, often almost completely made of sawn timber as the basic material. They belong to the group of export products, so it is especially significant to analyze the duration of the production cycle, and the type and the degree of stoppages in this type of production. Parallel method of production is applied in chair manufacture. The study shows that the value of flow coefficient is close to one or higher, in most cases. The results indicate that the percentage of interoperational stoppage is unjustifiably high, so it is proposed how to decrease the percentage of stoppages in the manufacturing process.

ABSTRACT Padang State Polytechnic has been established since 1987 under the name Polytechnic Engineering and then changed its name several times to the management policy by Andalas University then, until now it is independent until now with the name Padang State Polytechnic. The 33-year-old polytechnic of the Padang State Polytechnic establishment must have an icon, symbol and trinkets that have PNP characteristics so that they are easy to recognize and remember. Souvenirs are a form of applying media for promotion and souvenirs for people who already know and come to Padang State Polytechnic. Plastic injection molding machine is a machine used to mold plastics with a basic material in the form of plastic pellets. Plastic injection molding machine is the process of processing plastic material in the form of seeds which are heated until they become liquid and then injected into the molding which then freezes / hardens according to the shape of the mold. The products produced by injection molding machines vary, from electronic tools, automotive tools, home appliances, plastic souvenirs, to tableware. The success of the resulting product is highly dependent on Molding. The plastic injection molding machine has parts, namely the Injection Unit, Molding Unit and Clamping Unit. The Injection Unit and Clamping Unit are the most important parts in the manufacturing process of plastic products where the control operation is executed on the control panel found on the plastic injection molding machine. The control panel on the machine can adjust the amount of clamping pressure, stroke length, plastic volume, and temperature used. The molding unit is the main part of the plastic product manufacturing process. Mold (mold) is a tool / tool used to make products according to the desired design (shape and dimensions). Plastic molding has its respective functions, parts of the mold, namely Cavity and Core, Sprue, Runner and Gate, Undercut. The printing process on a Plastic Molding machine has several stages such as the cutting process, mold safety and machine safety, execution, product check, setting, execution, and final. Materials used in the Plastic Molding process are usually materials that are often used daily and are safe for use by all groups, such as Polyproplene, Polycarbonate, and High Density Poly Ethylene. The product that will be produced from the molding made is a key toy souvenir made of plastic, with a shape like the Padang State Polytechnic logo, measuring 6 cm long, 6 cm wide and 5 mm thick. The test results obtained will be shown through field applications, socialization at the Padang State Polytechnic and writing in national journals are the targets and outputs of this novice lecturer research activity. Keywords— Mold, Souvenir, Cavity, Core, Pnp.

A key objective of the modern development of society is the observance of ecological and socio-economic unity in human life and comprehensive improvement of environment and quality of life should be considered in close connection with the quality of the natural landscape. The formation of scientific understanding of the unity of society and nature is driven by the need for practical implementation of such unity. This defines the focus of this monograph. Given the overall assessment of the current state of the environment in Azerbaijan, considers the scenarios for the future development of the area. The prospects of the use of biotechnology in integrated environmental protection. In the framework of the above to address complex social, environmental and production problems in Azerbaijan developed scientific basis of integrated system of industrial farms — biclusters with a closed production cycle through effective utilization of regional biological resources, whose interactions and relationships take on the character of vzaimodeistvie components for obtaining focused final result with high practical importance. Microbiological, biochemical and technological processes are the basis of all development of biotechnology. Presents the development will help strengthen the ties between science and production, establishing mechanisms to conduct applied research in the field of innovation and creation of knowledge-based technologies in solving current and future environmental problems in Azerbaijan. We offer innovative ideas distinguishes the potential need for their materialization into new products, technologies and services, including the widespread use of digital technologies to design dynamic digital environmental map in space and in time. For students, scientific and engineering-technical workers, students and specializing in environmental technology, environmental protection.

Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) are a fast-growing field in microelectronics. MEMS are commonly used as actuators and sensors with a wide variety of applications in health care, automotives, and the military. The MEMS production cycle can be classified as three basic steps: (1) design process, (2) manufacturing process, and (3) operating cycle. Several studies have been conducted for steps (1) and (2); however, information regarding operational failure modes in MEMS is lacking. This paper discusses reliability in the context of MEMS functionality. It also presents a brief review of the most relevant failure mechanisms for MEMS.

Solar grade silicon (SoG-Si) is the basic material of photovoltaic industry. Metallurgical method as a way of purification isconsidered to reduce the cost of polysilicon production unanimously based on its low cost, short production cycle, relatively simple process, lowpollution and controllable scale size, and it has become a hot topic in the subject research around the world. In this paper Al-Si-Sn alloy is used to purifypolysiliconand influence on the purification efficiency of polysilicon with different compositions of Al-Si-Sn alloy is analyzed. In order to study the segregation of impurity B in purification process, we introduce final segregation coefficient kB,finaland analyze the relation between kB,finaland the content of Al,Snin Al-Si-Sn alloy thermodynamically.

In this paper, the author continues his investigation on the scientific basis of water chemistry specifications by applying his recent theory, which integrates the elemental radiation- and electro-chemistry reactions in the “Butlar-Volmer equation.” The B-V equation is well established as the basic material balance equation in corrosion science. The author’s new approach has been compared with the published in-pile test results of the electrochemical potential differences between the in-flux and out-flux regions for both the PWR- and BWR water chemistry environment. Although the theoretical estimation generally reproduced the experimental results, there remains significant deviation from the experimental results at the very low DH region (<10cc-STP/kg-water) in PWRs as well as the low DO region (<10ppb) in BWRs. Although these regions are outside of the water chemistry specifications of general interest, the scientific causes of the deviation must be clarified. In this paper, the author found that the deviations are due to the dominant radiation-chemical reactions involving hydrogen ions and hydrogen peroxide at the lower ends. Although the radiation- and electrochemical reaction was further exploited with respect to the potential differences induced by the hydrogen peroxide, the effects were disappointingly small, when estimated in terms of a mixed potential of the electrode reactions. This leads the author to suspect that hydrogen-ion-radical reactions should be the main causes. Currently further analyses are in progress.

This paper looks at the issue and influence of the die cost on a typical Aluminium die casting business. High pressure die casting (HPDC) is a manufacturing process used to produce components in a near finished shape with a reasonable good surface aspect, dimensionally accurate and within a short period off time or production cycle. The die is at the heart of the HPDC business and is unique to each component to be produced. A full business analysis was done and the full die cost share was extracted as part of a life cycle inventory of the HPDC manufacturing process. The inventory accounted for the energy metal and other inputs flows through the foundry. Die casting uses significant quantities of energy, as well as materials like oil-based lubricants and cooling water. Costs associated with part finishing are also considered due to the direct link between die manufacture and design and resulting finishing operations required.
