Pendidikan Ganesha telah memanfaatkan media website sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi. Namun dalam lingkungan internal jurusan masih juga menggunakan cara konvensional dengan menempel lembar pengumuman pada papan informasi yang tersedia. Di era digital, papan pengumuman bermigrasi dari bentuk konvensional ke bentuk digital, sehingga dikenal istilah digital signage. Bentuk digital signage yang sering diterapkan saat ini adalah menggunakan seperangkat komputer yang dihubungkan ke satu atau beberapa buah TV Plasma untuk menampilkan informasi. Salah satu aplikasi digital signage yang mendukung proses pembuatan papan pengumuman digital dan berbasis Web adalah XIBO yang bersifat open source. Pada penelitian ini, proses pembuatan papan pengumuman digital dilakukan dengan cara membuat sebuah sistem yang terdiri dari komposisi software (XIBO, Web Hosting, dan Internet) dan hardware (PC Server, PC Client, dan TV Plasma). Aplikasi XIBO yang digunakan terdiri dari XIBO CMS untuk diinstallkan pada web hosting melalui PC Server, XIBO CLIENT FOR WINDOWS untuk diinstallkan pada PC Client agar bisa terhubung dengan PC Server, dan TV Plasma digunakan untuk menampilkan display hasil desain konten papan pengumuman digital yang telah dibuat agar terlihat lebih tajam, cerah, dan besar jika dibandingkan menggunakan monitor komputer biasa. Penerapan XIBO pada web hosting dimaksudkan agar proses pembuatan desain konten papan pengumuman digital dan jadwal tayangnya dapat dilakukan secara online, dimana saja, dan kapan saja oleh admin, sehingga hal ini akan menjadikan digital signage lebih efektif dan efisien dari segi waktu, tenaga, dan biaya serta mudah dalam hal pengoperasiannya. Hasil penelitian ini nantinya diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada sarana penyampaian informasi secara digital terutama dalam bidang periklanan/advertising. In this research, the process of making a digital notice board is done by creating a system consisting of software composition (Xibo, Web Hosting, and Internet) and hardware (PC Server, PC Client, and Plasma TVs). Digital signage is information boards migrate from conventional forms to digital form. Form of digital signage used in computer by connecting to monitor to display the information. Digital notice board (digital signage) puts a digital-based information services in one direction. Many digital signage applications appear with the development of information technology. Unfortunately, if used as a digital signage devices, the implementation of existing digital signage applications using a desktop computer is unefficient. Signage applications that developed to be implemented on a single board computers such as raspberry-pi is still rare. In that case, there are any idea to implement a mini computer raspberry-pi as digital signage devices. Mini computer raspberry-Pi was chosen because of its small size and power saving. so it can be efficient and flexible than a regular desktop computer. Forming of this thesis includes designing web server using PHP and MySQL and raspberry pi configuration. The results of this research is to implement digital signage in raspbeery pi that produce a web-based digital information boards that efficient and power saving.

Open-source processes are based on the paradigm of self-organized communities as opposed to the traditional hierarchical teams. These processes have not only been successful in the software development domain but are also increasingly being used in the development of physical products. In order to successfully adapt open-source processes to product realization, there is a need to understand how open-source communities self-organize and how this impacts the development of products. Toward the direction of fulfilling this need, we present an analysis of an existing open-source community involved in developing a web-based content-management platform, Drupal. The approach is based on the analysis of networks using techniques such as social network analysis, degree distribution, and hierarchical clustering. Openly available information on the Drupal website is utilized to perform the analysis of the community. The data are transformed into two weighted undirected networks: networks of people and networks of Drupal modules. Both the structures of these networks and their evolution during the past 6 years are studied. Based on the analysis, it is observed that the structure of the Drupal community has the characteristics of a scale-free network, which is similar to many other complex networks in diverse domains. Key trends in the evolution of the networks are identified. Finally, a predictive model is presented to provide potential explanations for the observed structures and evolutionary trends.

Sebagai generasi digital native, generasi yang tumbuh di era digital, anak-anak tumbuh besardengan internet. Anak-anak, sekali lagi, terbatas kemampuannya dalam memilah informasiyang penting dan dibutuhkan. Di kajian media ada yang disebut teori kultivasi, kira-kira tentangbagaimana pesan media ditafsir mentah-mentah dan kemudian dipercayai begitu saja sebagairealitas. Dalam konteks dampak buruk bagi anak-anak, mereka bisa mempercayai media tanpamempertanyakan muatannya Atas dasar kebutuhan tersebut, maka diperlukan pelatihan danpendampingan yang ditujukan kepada orangtua di kota Semarang khususnya para ibu yangsecara umum menjadi objek lekat pertama anak. Orang tua perlu mendapat semacam pelatihanuntuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi media digital agar dapat mendampingi dan mendidikanak dengan baik. Peran orangtua penting dalam memberikan literasi kepada anak terkaitdengan penggunaan media digital dan internet. Pengawasan bukan berarti mencurigai danmembatasi total gerak-gerik anak di internet. Orangtua dan guru sebaiknya hanya mendidikanak untuk tidak mengakses situs berbahaya tapi juga mengajarkan tanggung jawab mediadigital dan internet. Pelatihan (presentasi edukatif, informatif atau instruksional yangdisediakan secara online) ini membahas tentang upaya penerapan dan pengembanganpengasuhan berbasis literasi media digital. Target capaian dari pelatihan ini adalah orangtuaterutama ibu memiliki kesadaran untuk memperbaiki pola pendidikan anak di rumah, memilikipengetahuan dan pemahaman baru dalam mengupayakan pengasuhan berbasis literasi mediadigital. Hasil akhir evaluasi dengan skala angka adalah 89,5 dengan kategori baik padakeseluruhan program.Kata Kunci: web based seminar, parenting education, literasi, media digital, generasiAs the digital generation, the generation that grew up in the digital era, children grew up withthe internet. Children are limited in their ability to sort out important and needed information.Based on theory called cultivation, media messages are interpreted raw and then believed asusual as reality. In a bad context for children, they can trust the media without questioning theburden. Further, training and mentoring is needed aimed to mothers who become the firstcaregiver for children. Mothers need to receive training to improve digital media literacy skillsso that they can assist and educate children well. An important role in providing literacy tochildren of digital media and the internet. Supervision does not mean analysis and totalmovement of children on the internet. Mothers not only educate children but also demandresponsibility for digital media and the internet. This training (educational presentation,instructional provided online) discusses the efforts to implement and develop the use of digitalmedia literacy. The target of this learning is to optimize the education patterns of children athome, to have new knowledge and understanding in pursuing care based on digital medialiteracy. <p>The Climate (CDS) and Atmosphere (ADS) Data Stores are instances of a common  underlaying infrastructure historically referred as CDS. Data Stores supports the implementation of the Climate Change (C3S) and Atmosphere Monitoring (CAMS) Services under the auspices of Copernicus, the European Union's Earth Observation Programme and entrusted for implementation to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF).  Both are highly visible web-based services currently gathering a vibrant community of users, including policymakers, businesses and scientists, helping them to investigate and tackle climate change and atmosphere monitoring challenges.</p><p>CDS infrastructure is designed as a distributed system and an open framework which provides web-based and API-based retrieve facilities to a wide and expanding catalogue of datasets, applications and other digital information. It also provides a development platform (Toolbox) which allow the creation of web-based applications operating on the datasets and products available in the catalogue. These applications are subsequently made available to end-users. Infrastructure is hosted in a dedicated in-house Cloud environment.</p><p>Having grown at steady rate in terms of users, functionality, workload and available content since their official opening the infrastructure is now looking forward to be further improved in the coming phase of Copernicus driven by the following objectives:</p><ul><li>capitalize operational experience, user feedback, lessons learned and know-how from current Data Stores to move into a modern, more reliable and interoperable platform;</li> <li>uptake modernised technologies and standards which have evolved since the initial implementation of the current infrastructure;</li> <li>evolve the system architecture as to take full advantage of cloud computing technologies and underlaying cloud infrastructure as containerization.</li> <li>embrace open source scientific software and ensure compatibility with state-of-the-art solutions such as machine learning, data cubes and interactive notebooks;</li> <li>strengthen synergies with DIAS WEkEO platform and improve the capacity, efficiency, interoperability and reliability of shared interfaces and resources;</li> <li>provide improved and flexible access to data and toolbox capabilities from multiple development platforms;</li> </ul><p>One of the components at the core of this reengineering exercise will be the Toolbox.  The foundation of this future toolbox implementation will be a suite of quality-assured, open source Python libraries for performing scientific analysis and visualisation, ensuring compatibility with a broader range of Python tools already familiar to the scientific community. Implementation will support two different functioning modes. In one hand a toolbox integrated<strong> </strong>within the <em>Data Store </em>web portal, providing fast and efficient access to catalogued data by taking full advantage of available computation resources and functionalities provided by the in-house Cloud infrastructure. Digital information boards are widely used for displaying one-way information and announcements in a fast, precise, and up-to-date manner. In the Department of Electrical Engineering University of Riau, the media used to convey information and announcements is still conventional, which is using wall magazines and banners. This study aims to build a digital information board or Papan Informasi Digital (PINDIT), a web-based information system that will be displayed on a monitor screen or LED TV and placed in front of the Electrical Engineering office. The academic community or visitors can easily access information or announcements related to campus activities through these digital information boards. Information on PINDIT can be updated by administrators from anywhere via the internet and displayed in real-time. PINDIT uses Rasberry Pi as a device that connects the information system with the LED TV screen, it also equipped with an RFID device which is used as a tool to record lecturers' attendance status in the room. We conducted Usability Testing for PINDIT on 33 respondents using the USE Questionnaire with aspects of learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. From the overall test results, PINDIT can be categorized as "Very Satisfactory" with an average percentage of each aspect of 86.23%.

Abstrak Kampus Institut Teknologi Adhi Tama Surabaya (ITATS) merupakan Kampus atau institusi swasta yang berbasis teknologi yang berlokasi di kota Surabaya. Kampus ITATS dinobatkan sebagai perguruan tinggi swasta unggulan di jawa timur dan menyandang predikat Eco Campus sejak 2013. Kampus ITATS telah menyediakan beberapa media penyampaian informasi mengenai kampus seperti brosur, banner, mading, dan juga website namun media tesebut dinilai masih kurang efektif dan kurang menggambarkan kesan teknologi sebagai basis kampus ITATS. Peneliti merancang sebuah media informasi yang berbasis digital dengan mengedapankan unsur teknologi dan juga eco green yang merupakan identitas kampus ITATS. Desain media informasi berbasis digital dipilih karena sifatnya yang dinamis dan atraktif sehingga informasi yang disuguhkan menjadi lebih menarik dan modern.  Dalam tahap merancang produk ini, peneliti melakukan studi kasus terhadap beberapa media informasi yang telah ada, lalu melakukan analisa berupa analisa material, warna, bentuk, penempatan, sistem, informasi, dan interface. Peneliti juga melakukan wawancara terhadap pihak terkait guna memperoleh informasi yang akurat. Hasil akhirnya peneliti menciptakan desain media informasi digital yang sesuai dengan kriteria kampus ITATS. Abstract Surabaya Adhi Tama Institute of Technology Campus (ITATS) is a technology-based campus or private institution located in the city of Surabaya. The ITATS campus has been named the leading private university in East Java and holds the title of eco campus since 2013. The ITATS campus has provided a number of media for delivering information about the campus such as brochures, banners, bulletin boards, and also websites, but the media is considered ineffective and lacks an impression technology as an ITATS campus base. Researchers designed a digital-based information media by deducing elements of technology and also eco-green which is the identity of the ITATS campus. Digital-based information media design was chosen because of its dynamic and attractive nature so that the information presented becomes more attractive and modern.  In the stage of designing this product, the researchers conducted a case study of several existing information media, then conducted an analysis in the form of material, color, shape, placement, system, information, and interface analysis. Researchers also conducted interviews with related parties in order to obtain accurate information. The final result is the researcher creates a digital information media design that matches the ITATS campus criteria.
