Digital information boards are widely used for displaying one-way information and announcements in a fast, precise, and up-to-date manner. In the Department of Electrical Engineering University of Riau, the media used to convey information and announcements is still conventional, which is using wall magazines and banners. This study aims to build a digital information board or Papan Informasi Digital (PINDIT), a web-based information system that will be displayed on a monitor screen or LED TV and placed in front of the Electrical Engineering office. The academic community or visitors can easily access information or announcements related to campus activities through these digital information boards. Information on PINDIT can be updated by administrators from anywhere via the internet and displayed in real-time. PINDIT uses Rasberry Pi as a device that connects the information system with the LED TV screen, it also equipped with an RFID device which is used as a tool to record lecturers' attendance status in the room. We conducted Usability Testing for PINDIT on 33 respondents using the USE Questionnaire with aspects of learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. From the overall test results, PINDIT can be categorized as "Very Satisfactory" with an average percentage of each aspect of 86.23%.

Implementation of the final project or thesis for students is a tiered process and bound to one another. Starting from the stage of proposal submission, proposal presentation, research implementation, report making up to thesis examination students. At present, the implementation of the thesis trial evaluation at the Information Technology Faculty of the Islamic University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin is still manual, where when the presentation of proposals and panelists thesis examinations or examiners are given an assessment form using paper media. This assessment form is then recapitulated into a spreadsheet form the results are announced to students. This is less effective, especially when many students take thesis courses. For this reason, in this study, a thesis evaluation information system was created, to help all stages of the thesis evaluation process. To facilitate the accessibility of the system made web-based and integrated with existing academic systems. From the test results concluded, the system can run by the design and reports produced by the system following the processes that are running now.

Voting in a democratic country is an important part of the means of choosing leaders. The village head election process in Indonesia still uses conventional voting methods, namely using ballot paper media in the election process. Voting that is carried out conventionally has several obstacles, including the lack of guaranteeing the authenticity of voters' votes, so that people think the results of voting results are often manipulated. In addition conventional selection is deemed inaccurate and time-consuming and costly. In this study the aim of this research is to design an information system e-voting that can be used for the Election of the Village Head of Cemandi, Sedati, Sidoarjo, East Java, where by using this system the election process becomes easier by ensuring the accuracy of the vote count. This system development method uses the model of software engineering waterfall. The test results blackbox show that the functions of the features in the system are running well. Based on the UAT test, the system received an average percentage rate of 86%.

This research aims to develop web based media (virtual map) on the civic education learning of NKRI materials on fifth-grade. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The procedure of this research is analysis, design, manufacture, testing, and maintenance. The subject of study was fifth-grade students in Wonorejo Elementary School. Data collection using interview, tests, questionnaires, and documents. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis consist central tendency and varians analysis. The results showed that virtual map fit for use with a score of the media percentage assessment 88% and a score of the content’s material components 100%. Media test results showed an average increase equal to 29,57%. Percentage mastery increased from 35.71% to 42.82%.  Conclusion in this study is the media virtual map effectively used in learning civic  education of NKRI materials.

Introduction: Knowledge about reproductive health is very important for adolescents. They can make informed decision on their reproductive health. One of important media that serve as the source of information on reproductive health in adolescents is website. The objective of this study was to find out the relationship between the use of web-based information and knowledge about reproductive health in adolescents. Method: A Cross Sectional was conducted from February 2013 to April 2014, involving the Tenth and Eleventh Grade students of SMA, SMK, MA in Ponorogo Regency. The study was conducted in schools with computer facilities and internet connection, involving 210 adolescents, who were selected using Simple Random Sampling technique. The data was collected by questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted in univariate, bivariate with using Spearman Rank test, and multivariate ways using logistic regression test. Results: The study showed that mean website access frequency and duration for information about reproductive health by adolescents were 1.36 times a week and 1.65 hours; knowledge about reproductive health was 58,1% in low category; and no relationship was found between the use of web-based information system and knowledge about reproductive health in adolescents, even though there was an increasing trend in the frequency and duration of website visits for information related to reproductive health in adolescents. Discussion: The use of web-based information system does not have a significant relationship with knowledge about reproductive health in adolescents. Further research is necessary to explore the same subject with a different method, which is not selecting the respondents in the first meeting and use a closed questionnaire to select the respondents. This way, the adolescents will feel free and open to the researcher.Keywords: web-based information system, knowledge, reproductive health in adolescents

The transmission of traffic either in form of voice or data from a source to destination over a transmission media such as fiber cable or digital microwave radio is termed telecommunication. The telecommunication is classified into three categories namely: Access network, core network and transmission system.  The access network directly provides network services to the subscribers. The core network does the routing or switching of traffic from the source to destination over the transmission media while the transmission system provides the media through which the traffic is transmitted from source to the destination. In this study, an automated web-based application name an E- Telecommunication Information System (ETIS) will be designed and developed to provide accuracy and consistence of network data, reduce Mean Time To Restore (MTTR) faulty equipment, increase revenues from cell sites and improve customers satisfaction in the telecommunication industry. Qualitative research approach and qualitative research method will be adopted so as to achieve reliable objectives of the system.

The development of Internet technology is widely used for positive things in helping human work, one of which facilitates communication between humans. In this case, CV. Unomax Indonesia is still relying on human as an online customer service to respond to inquiries from customers. As customers grow, it is less effective for customers who want to get quick reply information without time constraints. This study aims to create a web-based information system in the form of chatbot application that can be used by CV. Unomax Indonesia to respond to customer inquiries quickly. The method used is the prototype method as a modeling tool. This application uses PHP programming language and MySQL database. The result of the built chatbot application is based on test results using black box testing, it can be concluded that this application can run well and answer each question quickly as expected.

Pendidikan Ganesha telah memanfaatkan media website sebagai sarana penyampaian informasi. Namun dalam lingkungan internal jurusan masih juga menggunakan cara konvensional dengan menempel lembar pengumuman pada papan informasi yang tersedia. Di era digital, papan pengumuman bermigrasi dari bentuk konvensional ke bentuk digital, sehingga dikenal istilah digital signage. Bentuk digital signage yang sering diterapkan saat ini adalah menggunakan seperangkat komputer yang dihubungkan ke satu atau beberapa buah TV Plasma untuk menampilkan informasi. Salah satu aplikasi digital signage yang mendukung proses pembuatan papan pengumuman digital dan berbasis Web adalah XIBO yang bersifat open source. Pada penelitian ini, proses pembuatan papan pengumuman digital dilakukan dengan cara membuat sebuah sistem yang terdiri dari komposisi software (XIBO, Web Hosting, dan Internet) dan hardware (PC Server, PC Client, dan TV Plasma). Aplikasi XIBO yang digunakan terdiri dari XIBO CMS untuk diinstallkan pada web hosting melalui PC Server, XIBO CLIENT FOR WINDOWS untuk diinstallkan pada PC Client agar bisa terhubung dengan PC Server, dan TV Plasma digunakan untuk menampilkan display hasil desain konten papan pengumuman digital yang telah dibuat agar terlihat lebih tajam, cerah, dan besar jika dibandingkan menggunakan monitor komputer biasa. Penerapan XIBO pada web hosting dimaksudkan agar proses pembuatan desain konten papan pengumuman digital dan jadwal tayangnya dapat dilakukan secara online, dimana saja, dan kapan saja oleh admin, sehingga hal ini akan menjadikan digital signage lebih efektif dan efisien dari segi waktu, tenaga, dan biaya serta mudah dalam hal pengoperasiannya. Hasil penelitian ini nantinya diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada sarana penyampaian informasi secara digital terutama dalam bidang periklanan/advertising. ABSTRACT During this time the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Ganesha University of Education has been using the media as a means of delivering information website. But in the internal environment department was also using the conventional way with an announcement on a board attached sheet available information. In the digital era, bulletin boards migrate from conventional forms to digital form, so that the technical term is digital signage. Forms of digital signage is often applied at this time is to use a computer that is connected to one or a few pieces of Plasma TVs to display the information. One digital signage applications that support the process of making digital bulletin boards and Web-based is Xibo that is open source. In this research, the process of making a digital notice board is done by creating a system consisting of software composition (Xibo, Web Hosting, and Internet) and hardware (PC Server, PC Client, and Plasma TVs). Applications Xibo used consisted of Xibo CMS for installed on web hosting through a PC Server, Xibo CLIENT FOR WINDOWS for installed on the PC Client to be connected to a PC server, and Plasma TV used to show display design results content announcement board digital has been made to look sharper, brighter, and large when compared to using a regular computer monitor. Application of Xibo web hosting is so that the process of making content design bulletin boards digital and schedule slot can be done online, anywhere and anytime by admin, so this will make the digital signage is more effective and efficient in terms of time, effort, and expense as well as easy in operation. Abstract: Learning media is a tool used by teachers to deliver material to students. Based on the results of the interview, it was found that the teacher had not used the media. So that when the observations showed that students were still confused about the material properties and volumes of shapes. This research develops interactive multimedia based on android. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive multimedia that is valid according to media experts, material experts and practical according to users. This study uses the ADDIE model. The result of the development is in the form of interactive multimedia products that are used in building materials. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Glanggang. Based on the assessment instrument from 2 media experts, an average percentage of 94.98 percent was obtained, from 2 material experts obtained a percentage of 89.29 percent, from the trial to the teacher the percentage was 96.05 percent, and the student user trial obtained a percentage of 95.44 percent. Based on the percentage of assessments from experts and the test results show that interactive multimedia is categorized as very valid and very practical so that it can be used in learning activities. Abstrak: Media pembelajaran merupakan alat bantu yang digunakan oleh guru untuk menyampaikan materi kepada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara ditemukan bahwa guru belum menggunakan media. Sehingga saat observasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih kebingungan tentang materi sifat dan volume bangun ruang. Penelitian ini mengembangkan multimedia interaktif yang berbasis android. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif yang valid menurut ahli media, ahli materi serta praktis menurut pengguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil pengembangan berupa produk multimedia interaktif yang digunakan pada materi bangun ruang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 2 Glanggang. Berdasarkan instrumen penilaian dari 2 orang ahli media diperoleh rata-rata persentase 94,98 persen, dari 2 orang ahli materi diperoleh persentase 89,29 persen, dari uji coba kepada guru diperoleh persentase 96,05 persen, dan uji coba pengguna siswa diperoleh persentase 95,44 persen. Berdasarkan persentase penilaian dari para ahli dan hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif dikategorikan sangat valid dan sangat praktis sehingga dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Using a manual system in the companies or organizations today, has many disadvantages like inefficient, wasting time, require a lot of costs, and make work difficult. By integrating a DISC personality analytical psychological test with information system, the tests are carried out with computers initially using paper, so it more economical for using less paper. More than that, the test results are done automatically check by the computer, no need to manually check by the psychologist. In addition to being effective in examining, the validation of examinations is very high because it can recover human errors.
