 The purpose of this research is to examines the effectiveness of quantum teaching learning by comparing the final results between students who use quantum teaching learning and without use quantum teaching learning at elementary school level learning. This research use a quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research design was Posttest Only Control Group Design by using quantum teaching learning in the experimental group discussion and lecture method in the control group. The population was all students in six grade of SDN Pojoksari academic year 2015/2016. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Data collection methods used in this research is documentation and testing. Analysis data techniques in this research using t-test significance level of 5%. The result of this research is quantum teaching learning effective applied to elementary school mathematics courses.

Menarche and menstruation is a physiological process that can cause physical discomfort, emotional and anxiety. SDN in Cluster 3 and 4 Districts Nanggulan there were 10 grade 5 and 6 are not yet menarche say not know about menarche and menstruation and not knowing what to do when menstruation occurs. This happens because there is no health education about menstruation health in the scope of elementary school. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of health education with group discussion and lecture method to the knowledge, attitudes pre teens to face of menarche. Methods: This study is quasy-experiment with approaches pre test-post test control group design. Subjects were 5th and 6th grade students of elementary school at Cluster 3 and 4 Districts Nanggulan Kulon Progo with as many as 111 (discussion method,n = 55 and lecture method,n = 56) who met the inclusion criteria. The instrument used questionnaire. The sampling technique purposive sampling. Statistical test using Friedman test, Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney Test. Results: Scores of knowledge and attitudes before and after treatment there were significant differences in group discussions and lectures with the p=0,00 (p <0.05). Increased knowledge and attitude scores in both groups were significantly different at p=0,00 dan p=0,02 (p <0.05). The increase in effective knowledge and attitude scores on the method of discussion on the first day, the third and fourteenth after health education. Conclusion: Health education with discussion method is more effective than lecture group in increasing knowledge and changing attitudes in the pra-puberty facing menarche. This study investigated the effects of problem-solving teaching method on elementary school students’ physics achievement at elementary school. In this investigation an experimental research procedure was used. Along with this, a sample of sixty students was drawn from a total of three hundred seventy-eight students using lottery method of sampling technique. Physics achievement test (pre-test and post-test) covering the unit ‘’Introduction to Electronics’’ was used as measuring instrument. Then, based on the pre-test scores, mixed ability groups such as fifteen high and fifteen low scoring 30 students each were assigned as experimental (13Fand17M) and control(15 and15M) groups using lottery method of sampling technique Students in the experimental group were taught using problem solving teaching method while those in the control group were instructed with lecture teaching method. The post-test constructed by the writer in the sample unit taught was administrated to both groups immediately after the treatment was over. Finally, the results of the study revealed that problem-solving teaching method was more effective in teaching physics as compared with lecture method at elementary school level.   Key words: Achievement, Effect, Elementary, Physics, problem

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, pengaruh Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik dan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik terhadap peningkatan karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik pada tema peristiwa alam semester genap kelas I SDN di Kecamatan Ujung kota Parepare tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian eksperimen semu dengan nonequivalent groups pretest-posttest design ini mengandung satu variabel bebas dan dua variabel terikat. Variabel bebas adalah Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik sedangkan variabel terikat adalah karakter kejujuran dan disiplin. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas I SDN di Kecamatan Ujung Kota Parepare. Sampel dipilih dengan tekhnik purposive sampling, sehingga didapat tiga kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Kelompok eksperimen 1 dan kelompok eksperimen 2 diberi perlakuan menggunakan SSP tematik, dan kelompok kontrol diberi perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan teknik observasi. Teknik angket digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik. Teknik observasi digunakan untuk mengungkap perilaku karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik. Teknik analisis data digunakan adalah Analisys of Variance (ANOVA) dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah SSP tematik secara signifkan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan karakter kejujuran peserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik diperoleh p < α yaitu p = 0,000 < α = 0,05 dengan F = 27,890; dan karakter disiplin peserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tematik diperoleh p < α yaitu p = 0,000 < α = 0,05 dengan F= 9,294.Kata kunci: Subject Specific Pedagogy tematik, kejujuran, disiplinThe effect of SSP thematic on the increase of characters honesty and discipline of grade 1 elementary school students AbstractThe objective of this study was to determine the different effect between Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) thematic and those are not using SSP thematic on students’ characters honesty and discipline, for phenomenon nature theme of grade I of second semester in elementary school students in the academic year of 2013/2014.This is a quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design consisting of one independent variable and two dependent variables. The population comprised year X grade 1 elementary school student in Parepare City Sub-district Ujung. A sample of three classes was established using purposive sampling technique. The first experimental class and second experimental class was taught by using SSP thematic, and the control class was taught using the those are not using SSP thematic. The data were collected through observation and questionnaire. The questionnaire technique was the used to know the student’s characters honesty and discipline value. The observation technique was used to express student of characters honesty and discipline behavior. The data were analyzed of variance (ANOVA) test for the significance level of 0.05.The result of this study is SSP thematic significantly positive effects on student’s increase of characters honesty compared to those are not using SSP thematic the results showed p < α that is p = 0,000 < α = 0.05 with F = 27.890; and SSP thematic significantly positive effects on students increase of characters discipline compared to those are not using SSP thematic the results showed p < α that is p = 0,000 < α = 0.05 with F = 9.294. Learning social studies in elementary school should be taught by focusing on students, but the learning process was still focused on the teacher and used lecturing method. Therefore, the aim of this research was to analyze the use of discovery learning models based on animation media. This research was quasi experimental research with non equivalent control group design. The population of this research was all fourth-grade elementary school students which were consisted of 160 students. The samples were taken by random sampling technique. The sample consisted of 31 students in experimental group and 30 students in control group. Data collection was done by using test in the form of multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The results of data analysis obtained t-count = 3.302 at a significance level of 5% and dk = 59, the value obtained t-table = 2,000 so that t-count = 3.302> t-table = 2,000. So, the use of discovery learning model based on animation media would have an impact on social studies learning outcomes.

    The result of observation shows that the students' understanding of physics science subject is still low. Many teachers still use conventional methods. Students just listen and take notes. Therefore, the use of appropriate and varied learning models is expected to help students in understanding a concept. One alternative of physics learning that can help students understand the concept is through pictorial riddle learning method. This pictorial riddle learning method uses a riddle of drawings on a whiteboard, poster or projected from a transparency then the teacher asks questions relating to the riddle. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of pictorial riddle learning method on the understanding of physics concepts class IX students semester 1 SMP Negeri 2 Painan 2015/2016 academic year. Sampling is done by simple random sampling technique. The research population is all students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Painan. The sample used is class IX-2 as experiment class and IX-3 as control class. The variable in this research is the students' concept understanding on the magnetism materials, with the experimental control group design pre test post test. Data retrieval is done through the test in the form of free description and analyzed using simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination and test of significance in microsoft excel. The results of data analysis showed the relationship between variables expressed in a simple regression equation Y = 51.99 + 0.4286. The value of correlation coefficient 0,5787 with enough criterion (0,5 <r <0,8) value 0,3348 and coefficient of determination equal to 33,5% and> (3,175> 2,015) at significance level 5%, which mean study pictorial Riddle method effect of 33.5% on the understanding of student physics concepts. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive influence and quite significant method of learning pictorial riddle on the understanding of students' concepts on magnetism materials.

The aim of this study was to determine the influence of Project Based Learning on creative thinking skills of student on colloid concept. The method used in this study was quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was second semester students of SMAN 5 in Bekasi of Academic Years 2014/2015. Samples are class XI MIA-4 as the experimental class (given treatment by project-based learning model), and class MIA XI-2 as the control class (given treatment by lecture method). Data collection techniques were gained through an essay test instrument. Data value of the average pretest-posttest control group and experimental group were analyzed using t-test. The average of pretest score for control class is 19.89 and experiment class is 18.11, while the average of postest score of control class is 24.5 and experimental class is 29.35. The t-test result showed that tcount (7.35) was greater than ttable (2.0049) with significance level 5%, so the research hypothesis which states that there are significant influence of project-based learning to the creative thinking skills of students on colloid concept are accepted. In order to obtain the greatest number of information about creative thinking skills, when implemented project based learning must consider several things, that are: time management, formulation of the problem, step of project work, and assessment systems should be informed to the students in a clear and focused so that students can understand and have a passion in running the project.  Keywords: Project Based Learning, Creative Thinking, Colloid.

Based on the research to understand of influence the implementation and increased use of learning model contextual teaching and learning of the understanding ability a mathematical conception of elementary school grade 3.This research triggered by the importance of the understanding ability a mathematical conception for learners of elementary school grade 3 .The study is done in SDN 2 Sukajaya for year academic 2017 / 2018. The method used in this research is a method of quantitative with design of quasi experiment design. The population of the research is all students from SDN 2 Sukajaya grade 3. Sampling technique used namely sampling technique saturated sampling technique this is all population used as samples for research. Sampling techniques used the techniques of sampling saturated, this sampling techniques used in the sample of the population. The data technique on this research using objective test. The result of this research is indicates there an effect from the ability of understanding between class a mathematical conception of the experiments with contextual kind of classroom teaching and learning and control group with direct instruction method. The results of the t-test at 5% significance level obtained significance Count between 0002 ≤ 0.05. As for the improved results obtained from U at 5% significance level obtained significance Count between 0.006 ≤ 0.05, so it can be revealed learning by Implementation of Contextual learning method of Teaching and Learning effect in improving the ability of understanding of mathematical concepts

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of Discovery Learning on the results of learning Pkn in five grade students SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi This research is a type of experimental research in the form of Quasi-Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique using total sampling technique with the sample number 40students.This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5% obtained count (4,28>2,03). The result of Civic learning obtained by the experimental group is higher than the control group, it is shown from mean 77,35 and the mean obtained by the control group is 74,1.

This study aimed to determine the effect of cognitive behavioral counseling by modeling techniques Pan balang greedy to increased interest persuasive students through lesson study VIII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. This research is the study design "quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment)" Design nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used is random sampling and random class as an intact group of subjects of this study were 38 people VIII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. The process of taking data in this study using the method of observation, interviews, diaries and questionnaires Interests linkert scale pattern persuasive and descriptive analysis and statistical analysis used the formula for the t-test. Empirical findings in this study stated that there are significant cognitive-behavioral counseling by modeling techniques Pan balang greedy to increased interest persuasive students through lesson study VIII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. This is evidenced by the t value of 3,516 sig.0,01 with 0:01 <0.05. with a significance level (p) <0.05 indicating that counseling services will be more effective if counselees in the implementation of the service is facilitated by modeling techniques Balang Greed Pan models. Based on this statement we can say that the cognitive-behavioral counseling by modeling techniques Balang Greed Pan right models applied in schools.
