Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, pengaruh Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik dan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik terhadap peningkatan karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik pada tema peristiwa alam semester genap kelas I SDN di Kecamatan Ujung kota Parepare tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian eksperimen semu dengan nonequivalent groups pretest-posttest design ini mengandung satu variabel bebas dan dua variabel terikat. Variabel bebas adalah Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik sedangkan variabel terikat adalah karakter kejujuran dan disiplin. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas I SDN di Kecamatan Ujung Kota Parepare. Sampel dipilih dengan tekhnik purposive sampling, sehingga didapat tiga kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Kelompok eksperimen 1 dan kelompok eksperimen 2 diberi perlakuan menggunakan SSP tematik, dan kelompok kontrol diberi perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket dan teknik observasi. Teknik angket digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik. Teknik observasi digunakan untuk mengungkap perilaku karakter kejujuran dan disiplin peserta didik. Teknik analisis data digunakan adalah Analisys of Variance (ANOVA) dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah SSP tematik secara signifkan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan karakter kejujuran peserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tematik yang tidak menggunakan SSP tematik diperoleh p < α yaitu p = 0,000 < α = 0,05 dengan F = 27,890; dan karakter disiplin peserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tematik diperoleh p < α yaitu p = 0,000 < α = 0,05 dengan F= 9,294.Kata kunci: Subject Specific Pedagogy tematik, kejujuran, disiplinThe effect of SSP thematic on the increase of characters honesty and discipline of grade 1 elementary school students AbstractThe objective of this study was to determine the different effect between Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) thematic and those are not using SSP thematic on students’ characters honesty and discipline, for phenomenon nature theme of grade I of second semester in elementary school students in the academic year of 2013/2014.This is a quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design consisting of one independent variable and two dependent variables. The population comprised year X grade 1 elementary school student in Parepare City Sub-district Ujung. A sample of three classes was established using purposive sampling technique. The first experimental class and second experimental class was taught by using SSP thematic, and the control class was taught using the those are not using SSP thematic. The data were collected through observation and questionnaire. The questionnaire technique was the used to know the student’s characters honesty and discipline value. The observation technique was used to express student of characters honesty and discipline behavior. The data were analyzed of variance (ANOVA) test for the significance level of 0.05.The result of this study is SSP thematic significantly positive effects on student’s increase of characters honesty compared to those are not using SSP thematic the results showed p < α that is p = 0,000 < α = 0.05 with F = 27.890; and SSP thematic significantly positive effects on students increase of characters discipline compared to those are not using SSP thematic the results showed p < α that is p = 0,000 < α = 0.05 with F = 9.294. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the 5K-based Synectic model to improve the higher-order thinking skills of elementary school students. The type of research method used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design with a control group design. The sample used was 127 grade V elementary school students in the District of Kebayoran Lama who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study prove that the application of the 5K-based synectic model obtained a significant value so that it is effectively used in improving the higher-order thinking skills of elementary school students. This model can help students develop creative reasoning to solve problems, store new information, assist in producing writing, and explore social and disciplinary problems to improve their high-order thinking skills. This research can be used as input for education practitioners, especially teachers in developing learning that adapts to the needs of the times and can develop students' reasoning.

This study examines the trial of treffinger learning models on mathematics subjects in elementary school students of SD 37 Model Parepare. The aim of this study was to find out whether there is an influence of Treffinger learning model on mathematics learning outcomes of students of SD Negeri 37 Model Parepare. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research and uses the Quasy Experimental design in the form of The Nonequivalent Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample of 67 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests in the form of multiple choices, and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test test obtained significance of 0.00 (0.00 <0.05) and the results of the analysis of the t test obtained values - tcount <- t table (-17.999 <-2.037) indicate that H0 is rejected which means there are differences in the average mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students 37 Model Parepare between before and after the use of the Treffinger learning model. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Treffinger learning model influences the mathematics learning outcomes of students of SD Negeri 37 Model Parepare.

The study purpose. This study aims to develop a volleyball fundamental movement learning model with a game-centered approach and test its effectiveness in improving the volleyball learning outcomes of elementary school students Materials and methods. The research method used is research and development (R&D) which adopts the10 steps of Borg and Gall R&D model. The data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative and quantitative. This study used a pretest-posttest control group design to determine the initial abilities of the experimental and the control group (n = 40). The significance test of the learning model effectiveness used a t-test. Normality test was carried out before the data analysis on the results of the experimental group and the control group improvement in the fundamental movement of volleyball with the significance level = 0.05. Results. The results of this study indicate a significant improvement for the experimental group data (0.97) and the control group data (0.42). Because the significance value of the two groups is more than 0.05, the overall data for the study group is normally distributed. The learning model effectiveness test results show the value of t-count -71.065. Conclusions. The fundamental movement improvement of the experimental group is higher or more effective than that of the control group. So it can be concluded that the volleyball fundamental movement learning model with a game-centered approach is effective and efficient to be given to elementary school students.

Learning social studies in elementary school should be taught by focusing on students, but the learning process was still focused on the teacher and used lecturing method. Therefore, the aim of this research was to analyze the use of discovery learning models based on animation media. This research was quasi experimental research with non equivalent control group design. The population of this research was all fourth-grade elementary school students which were consisted of 160 students. The samples were taken by random sampling technique. The sample consisted of 31 students in experimental group and 30 students in control group. Data collection was done by using test in the form of multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The results of data analysis obtained t-count = 3.302 at a significance level of 5% and dk = 59, the value obtained t-table = 2,000 so that t-count = 3.302> t-table = 2,000. So, the use of discovery learning model based on animation media would have an impact on social studies learning outcomes.

<p><em>The aims of this study was to look at the effect of healthy breakfast education with Islamic Comic Media on the level of knowledge of elementary school students. This study was a quasi-experimental type with pre-posttest control group design. The</em><em> </em><em>sampling </em><em>w</em><em>a</em><em>s </em><em>simple random method as many as </em><em>64</em><em> students, group A was given islamic comic media (n=32) and group </em><em>B </em><em>as control of the group (n=32). Nutrition knowledge level</em><em> </em><em>were obtained from filling out questionnaires. The influence of nutritional education media on increasing knowledge</em><em> </em><em>in </em><em>both</em><em> groups analyzed by Wilcoxon test, and continued with the Mann Whitney test.</em><em> The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant increase in the level of knowledge in islamic comic group (p = 0,000). There is the influence of giving Islamic comic </em><em>about healthy breakfast</em><em> </em><em>to </em><em>elementary school-age </em><em>students' knowledge.</em></p>

The unbalanced eating behavior of school-age children is influenced by the level of nutritional knowledge. The purpose of this research is to analyze the comparison of media education with videos and pop-up books on the knowledge of balanced nutrition guidelines for elementary school students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The total sample used in the study was 90 students who were taken by probability sampling and then divided into two groups, 45 students were given education with video media (P1) and 45 students were educated with pop-up book media (P2). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test with a significant level of 0.05. The results obtained are that there is a difference in the level of knowledge of the pop-up book group before and after education (p=0.0001) and there is no difference in the level of knowledge of the video group before and after education (p=1.00). Pop-up book media is more effective in increasing students' knowledge level of balanced nutrition compared to video, so pop-up book media can be an alternative media used to provide education to elementary school students.

This study aims to investigate the effect of portfolio assessment in teaching physics and scientific attitude. The research was conducted on students of high school in Singaraja. Research was an quasi- experimental study by using “The Posttest-Only Control Group Design”. The research involved 152 high school students of class X of science as samples, taken with multistage random sampling technique. Portfolio assessment was integrated with physics learning. The implementation of the portfolio assessment included four key elements such as the students' work folders, clear assessment criteria, and self-assessment, and conference between teacher and students. The data needed in this research was the students' scientific attitude which included the aspect of curiosity, respect for evidence, the willingness to change ideas, and critical reflection. Data needed in this research included scientific attitudes students. A Likert scale instrument was used to measure the scientific attitude students. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS 20.0 at significance level α = 0.05. The results showed there are differences in the scientific attitude students who take physics learning with assessment portfolios and students who take physics learning with assessment of conventional. The findings of this study indicate that portfolio assessment in learning physics significantly affect the scientific attitude students.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan bantuan video kartun terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Sikur tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah 113 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 37 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis dalam bentuk pilihan ganda yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas, reliabilitas, analisis tingkat kesukaran, dan analisis daya beda soal. Data hasil tes akhir dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dengan rumus pooled varians dan diperoleh thitung sebesar (5,318) dengan ttabel sebesar (1,996) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan video kartun berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Sikur. Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, video kartun, hasil belajar.Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted cartoon video of the physics student learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The study population was all students (113 students) of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Sikur academic year 2014/2015. Sampling was done through purposive sampling technique with class XI IPA 2 as experimental class (37 students) and class XI IPA 1 as the control class ( 36 students). The nonequivalent control group was used as the experimental design. The instruments used in the form of a written test in the form of multiple choices previously tested the validity, reliability, analysis of the level of difficulty, and analysis about the different power. The final test result data were analyzed using t-test two parties with pooled variance formula and obtained tcount of (5.318) with ttable of (1.996) at the 5% significance level. The value of tcount greater than ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This suggests that the problem-based learning model assisted cartoon video has effect on the student class XI of SMAN 1 Sikur physics learning outcomes.Keywords: Problem-based learning model, video cartoon, learning outcomes

This study aims to determine the effect of ethnomatemics based Realistic Mathematics Education models on the mathematical literacy ability of grade IV elementary school students in the 17th city of Bengkulu on flat construction material. This research is a quantitative research. The research method used was quasi-experimental research using the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was the Elementary School Cluster 17 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study were students of class IV B Elementary School 04 Bengkulu City as an experimental class and students of class IV C Elementary School 11 Bengkulu as a control class. The research instrument used in the form of tests in the form of essay questions provided through pretest and posttest. The instrument used in the study was a test sheet in the form of a breakdown problem for the context of mathematical literacy. Based on the t-test calculation of students' posttest results, there is a tcount of 4.24> ttable of 2.01, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of using ethnomatemics-based Realistic Mathematic Education models on the ability of mathematical literacy in the context components of class IV students in Cluster 17 Bengkulu City

The purpose of this research is to know how the game of invasion and the game netting against the motion the fundamental basis of students. This research use pretest posttest wants a design with control group design, population is a whole elementary school students land Mojoroto Kediri subdistrict. Sample as many as 88 students taken in cluster random sampling consisting of 51 boy and 37 girl who are between the ages of 9-12 years. Research of Nurhasan instrument 2008 consisting of 4 item tests speed, agility, balance and accuracy. The results of the research is a invasion game nor the netting game give influence on the fundamental basis of motion skills students but still do not give significant effects to enhance the fundamental basis of motion.
