Aim. To study the gene-specific composition of Borrelia spp. in ixodid ticks inhabiting the foci of ixodid tick-borne borreliosis (ITBB) in the south of Western Siberia.Materials and Methods. The gene-specific composition of Borrelia spp. in ixodid ticks was determined by inoculation on a BSK-H nutrient medium, real-time polymerase chain reaction, and sequencing (1148 specimens of ixodid ticks collected from vegetation and 2183 specimens withdrawn from humans).Results. Infection of ticks with borrelia ranged from 22.4% in the Altai Republic to 56.9% in the Novosibirsk Region. There were no significant differences in the levels of Borrelia infection between two major ixodides, I. persulcatus and I. pavlovskiy (average infection levels 40.0% and 38.8%, respectively). At least five gene species of pathogenic Borrelia (B. garinii, B. afzelii, B. bavariensis, B. miyamotoi, and B. spielmanii) have been identified. The GenBank database contains 45 nucleotide sequences of the intergenic spacer rrf (5S)-rrl (23S). Prevalence of gene species B. garinii and B. afzelii in different ticks (I. persulcatus and I. pavlovskiy) did not differ significantly, yet B. garinii was found to be more frequent than B. afzelii. The frequency of infection of I. persulcatus ticks with B. miyamotoi was significantly (3.5-fold) as compared to those of B. garinii and B. afzelii. In D. reticulatus ticks, the DNA of B. spielmanii and B. miyamotoi was detected.Conclusion. It is necessary to continue studies to assess the role of the meadow ticks D. reticulatus in the circulation of different Borrelia spp. in various natural foci within the Russian Federation.

The paper presents results of research into breeding of the new soybean cultivar Gorinskaya by the methods of hybridization and individual selection. Soybean varieties SibNIIK-315 (female parent) and Fiskebi V (male parent) were used as a starting material. The studies were carried out in the forest-steppe zone of the Western Siberia (Novosibirsk region). Soybean Gorinskaya belongs to the Manchu subspecies. The plants have a light brown (reddish) pubescence of the stem, leaves, beans. The growth pattern and the type of apex is intermediate, the number of branches is 1–3, the angle of branching is 20–30 degrees, the bush is compressed. The height to the first branch is 6–10 cm, the attachment height of the lower pod is 10–13 cm. The beans are distributed evenly throughout the plant. The length of the stem is 55–75 cm, the number of internodes on the stem is 12–15. The inflorescence is a small-flowered raceme of 3-5 flowers. The corolla is purple in color. The pods are slightly curved with a pointed tip; when ripe, they acquire a brown color. The seeds are elongated-oval, greenish-yellow in color, without pigmentation. The seed hilum is brown. The cultivar is the grain variety for use. The yield in the competitive variety testing reached 29.4 c / ha. The mass of seeds per plant is 10–12 g, the mass of 1000 seeds is 150–160 g. The number of seeds per pod is 2-3; the average number of pods per 1 productive node is 2-3. The protein content in seeds is 35-38, fat – 17-19%. Duration of the vegetative period is 100-105 days. The cultivar is medium resistant to diseases, cold, drought, and soil salinity. In 2018, the Gorinskaya soybean variety was included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements Approved for Use in the Russian Federation for the East Siberian region.

Blood-sucking ticks are vectors of protozoal, bacterial, viral and rickettsial diseases. The study of ixodes ticks: fauna, ecology, biology is of great importance not only for epidemiology but is also of scientific interest. Changes in natural and climatic conditions, hydrological regime, rapid development of human economic activities lead to the changes in the fauna of invertebrates including ixodid ticks. As they invade new territories ticks may expand their habitats for these dangerous for animals and humans infections. That is why the study of tick fauna, changes in species diversity of ticks and monitoring of their abundance is so important for monitoring of natural foci. The emergence of a new species of ixodid tick Rhipicephalus annulatus, in western Kazakhstan, which began to be registered from 2019 in Kurmangazy district of Atyrau region, bordering the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation and its re-finding in 2020 is a very important fact to assess the epidemiological danger for humans and animals in this territory.

Ixodid ticks (n=3714) from natural foci of Baikal Region (Irkutsk Region and Republic of Buryatia) have been examined for pathogenic Borrelia DNA during 2013-2010. On average 40.9 % of the samples were positive for Borrelia markers during the survey period; the range of variantion was – 32–55 %. The increasing of infection rate in ticks is traced in multi-year trends. During the ticks’ activity season, maximal infection rates have been noted at the end of the season (60 %), minimal – at the very beginning of the season (28,6 %) and on the peak of vectors’ abundance (36-39 %). The significant geographical, species and age differences have been detected in Borrelia infection rate of Ixodid ticks. Borrelia DNA have been detected considerably more often in taiga tick (the main vector of Ixodid tick borrelioses in Siberia) and in its nymphs more often, than in adult ticks. There was no difference in the infection rate of male and female ticks, and also between ticks, collected from the vegetation and from human and animals. The ratio og genotyped Borrelia species had been as follows: 64.2 % – B. garinii, 21,7 % – B. afzelii, 14,2 % – B. miyamotoi. Key words: Ixodid ticks, pathogenic Borrelia, PCR, genotyping, Baikal Region.

Considering the confirmed role of mice as the important reservoirs and vectors of zoonotic diseases, the aim of this study was to determine the Apodemus agrarius seasonal dynamics and its role as a vector of ixodid ticks. Six ixodid tick species were identified on 993 specimens of A. agrarius. The average number of ticks per mouse was 1.181±0.066, and the highest number of collected ticks per one individual was 31. Based on the tick prevalence of infested murid species, the level of potential risk for human and animals could be predicted in certain habitats.

Kemerovo virus (KEMV), a member of Reoviridae family, Orbivirus genus, is transmitted by ixodes ticks and can cause the damage of human central nervous system. The occurrence and genetic diversity of KEMV in Western Siberia still remained poorly studied, so, the aim of this work was to investigate the prevalence and genetic variability of KEMV in ixodid ticks from Western Siberia. A total of 1958 Ixodes persulcatus, I. pavlovskyi ticks and their hybrids from Novosibirsk and Omsk provinces, Altai Republic (Russia) and East Kazakhstan province (Kazakhstan) were analyzed for the presence of KEMV and tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) RNA. It was shown that KEMV distribution area in Western Siberia was wider and included Northern and Northeastern Altai in addition to Omsk and Novosibirsk provinces. For the first time this virus was found in Kazakhstan. The occurrence of KEMV was statistically lower than TBEV in most locations in Western Siberia. KEMV was found both in I. persulcatus and I. pavlovskyi ticks and in their hybrids. Notably, KEMV variants found in 2010s genetically differ from those isolated in 1960s. Moreover, the possibility of reassortment for KEMV was demonstrated for the first time.

The article clarifies the concept of “agricultural holding”, using an approach to assessing the size on the basis of the total revenue of all agricultural organizations within the agricultural holding. It has been revealed that only 100 of the total number of agricultural holdings that were identified can be attributed to large business entities. They comprise about 3% of agricultural organizations in the country, while their share in the proceeds is about 37%. A large share of agricultural holdings — large business subjects under the control of Russian entities operate in one, and under the control of foreign legal entities — in three or more regions of the Russian Federation. Vertical integration within the framework of large agricultural holdings with different schemes for including the stages of processing and sale of products produced in their agricultural organizations allows them to receive advantages. Strengthening the role of large business entities in agriculture puts on the agenda the issue of differentiating approaches to taxation and state support in agriculture, depending on the size of the companies’ agricultural businesses.

In their previous works , leading their history since 1988, the authors of this article have repeatedly conceptually shown and experimentally verified the results of research on the teleportation of information between macro objects. Early author's works were performed during the existence of the Russian Federation – as a country called the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Some of which were marked "Top Secret" - links further down the text. Since they were performed under the supervision of the relevant special services and further "Department of external relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences". The authors used numerous examples to demonstrate the possibility of teleportation of information in macro-systems, including ecosystem, biogeocenotic levels, and then tissue and organism levels. Successful experimental verifications occurred only in cases when all the principles and rules laid down in the theory of quantum information, applied to biological objects, were correctly combined. Namely, the preparation of cascades of entangled States was performed both on the mental and somatic levels. In full accordance with the principle of complementarity and taking into account the fact that the observer and the observed are actively connected by the sum of similarities. In addition, the role of the classical communication channel in this process was performed by carrier electromagnetic fields modulated by a useful signal. This signal represented a cast of the simulated experimental process. An example of a real COVID-19 pandemic is the verification of author's works in nature on a biogeocenotic scale. And certainly with anthropogenic – so to speak-participation.

Subject. The article addresses problems and prospects for the banking supervision development in the Russian Federation under modern conditions. Objectives. We review the essence and methods of organization of the banking supervision, and identify the main problems and prospects for its development. Methods. To provide valid, reliable and reasoned recommendations, we apply normative and integrated approaches to the study of the banking supervision effectiveness in the current circumstances. Results. The paper investigates main problems and development prospects for the Russian banking supervision. The essential importance of supervision comes from the main role of the banking system in maintaining accounts of economic entities and making settlements. Even minor failures or delays in operations can lead to negative outcomes and disastrous consequences for the entire monetary system and the national economy. Therefore, we highlight issues that require attention, and make proposals for further development of the banking supervision. Conclusions. In the context of dynamically developing economy, the banking practice is becoming more complex. As a result, there is a need for new financial instruments that can reduce risks, increase the speed and efficiency of operations and document flow, and help achieve the world levels of introduced standards.
