Field experiments with 11 native maize hybrids for grain production FAO maturity group 400-600 were set up over two years at two sites (near the villages of Brzan and Lužnice, Kragujevac municipality) with the aim of, based on the yield over years, recommending hybrids for specific agroecological conditions. The average maize grain yield for all hybrids in 2017 was 4.2 t ha-1, and in 2018 11.1 t ha-1. Hybrids ZP 548 and NS 5051 had the highest average grain yield in 2017, and in 2018 ZP 560 and NS 4051. Higher yields in 2018 are mainly the result of a larger amount and a more favorable distribution of precipitation in the vegetation period. In both years, which differed in agrometeorological conditions during the vegetation period, especially in the amount and distribution of precipitation in the second part of the vegetation, in which the critical phases of maize development take place, the highest yields were recorded mainly in FAO 500 hybrids.

This study showed the effect of different methods of application of mineral fertiliser rates on the yield of two potato cultivars grown under the agroenvironmental conditions of the Radočelo Mountain massif on a luvisol exhibiting rather favourable agrophysical and some what poorer agrochemical properties. In 2018 and 2019, a trial with potato cvs. ‘Arizona’ and ‘Esmee’ was established. Planned rates of mineral fertilisers (N200, P150, K150) were applied as two treatments: treatment 1 – fertiliser rates were ploughed in during autumn, and treatment 2 – one half of the planned rates was applied during seedbed preparation and the other half in-furrow at planting. The results showed that the treatment involving the application of one half of the fertiliser rate before planting, and the other half at planting resulted in higher total yields of both potato cultivars compared with the placement of the whole rate of fertilisers during deep ploughing in autumn.

In this paper is shown an overview of researches on the effect of nutrition with diets and feeds rich in lipids, on the yield and chemical composition of milk, as well as on the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in milk fat at ruminants. The numerous studies have shown that many genetic and nongenetic factors affect on the milk fat and fatty acids content variations, whereas the main factor is animal nutrition. In addition to fresh forage intake (on pasture or in the stable) the second most important way to increase the PUFA content is using some oilseeds in rations. Among the researched species (soybean, sunflower, flax, cotton, peanuts), the best results were obtained with using heat-treated soybean, which also provides a higher content of undegradable protein.

The analysis of the content of rutine in buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) was performed under the influence of agroecological factors in the area of Nišićka Visoravna (Sarajevo) during 2019. A field experiment in which the content of rutines in different development phenophases of buckwheat (beginning of flowering, full flowering, maturation) was set up and analyzed. Fresh plant material was used for analysis, and the hydrolate production process was carried out by steam distillation. The distilled buckwheat solution was analyzed by HPLC method at the Institute of Agromediterranean Faculty in Mostar. The highest content of rutine in the research period was recorded in the developmental phase of full flowering 28 mg/100 g, in the phase of maturation it is 21 mg/100 g and the lowest content was found in the phase of the beginning of flowering 19 mg/100 g.

The analysis of impact that breeding area, year of birth, calving season and interaction between breeding area and calving season have on milk and milk fat production in full lactations was performed in 241 Simmental cows, with 897 lactations born in period from 1998 to 2007 and distributed into three breeding areas (Čačak, Zlatibor and Rudno). According to applied model, analysis of the influence of paragenetic factors, imapct of breeding area and interaction of breeding area and calving season on the production of milk and milk fat in full lactation was very significant (P<0.01). The year of birth did not significantly impact (P>0.05) the production of milk and milk fat, while the calving season significantly impacted (P<0.05) the production of milk and insignificantly (P>0.05) the production of milk fat in full lactation. Coefficients of determination were very significant (P<0.01) and ranged from 0.431 (43.1%) in milk fat production to 0.500 (50%) in milk production.

Yield and quality of forage mainly depend on the floristic composition, ie the share of higher quality grasses and legumes, soil fertility, amount and distribution of precipitation and light. Natural meadows and pastures are the most important resource in the forage production in the hilly and mountainous area of Republic of Serbia. Despite the large areas, the forage production on natural grasslands is relatively low. Limited application of a small number of agrotechnical measures is the main reason for low and unstable yields and poor forage quality. Only by appropriate fertilization of meadows and pastures with mineral and organic fertilizers, their rational exploitation, it is possible to achieve an increase in hay yield by several times and improvement in forage quality, simultaneously.

Lamb production dominates in organic sheep production, while milk production is much less present and very rare. There are usually two basic systems of breeding in lamb production: fattening of lambs on pasture and combined fattening of lambs. In organic goat breeding, the most common is the organic production of milk and dairy products, primarily quality goat cheeses. The cultivation system is usually a combination of grazing (summer half of the year) and stable cultivation (winter half of the year). Such agriculture provides amortization of the negative effects of social development on the ecosphere and the human population as a whole.

The paper presents calculation of production of Viljamovka pear on family farm in area of the village Kriva Reka near the municipality of Gornji Milanovac. The orchard is in the phase of full fertility and was raised in 2009, on area of 1ha. For the purposes of making the calculation data from 2018 was used, and represent average year during period of full fertility of the orchard. Used the gross margin calculation, the costs incurred were analyzed achieved economic results and the cost price of a pear in the production year.

Although there are more than 6000 plum varieties originated from different wild species from Europe, Asia and North America, there is a constant need to develop new varieties with better characteristics, tolerant/resistant to adverse environmental factors and the most important diseases, in the first place Sharka virus. In addition, one of the most important aims of plum breeding in the world is to create varieties of early and late ripening time in order to prolong the season of fresh fruits on the market as much as possible. The aim of this study was to examine the most significant pomological and productive characteristics of two domestic (ʻBorankaʼ and ʻC ačanska ranaʼ) and three introduced (ʻOpalʼ, ʻKatinkaʼ and ʻTegeraʼ) early ripening plum varieties. The most important phenological (phenophase of flowering and fruit ripening) and morphometric characteristics (fruit and stone mass, flesh percentage ratio, fruit dimensions and sphericity), as well as tree vigour (trunk cross-sectional area) and yield (yield per tree and yield efficiency) were examined.

Sempervivum tectorum has a similar effect as aloe vera, which is known in the treatment of various skin diseases. This herb is considered one of the safest remedies for a wide range of skin diseases. Due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, it also serves as an excellent first aid for burns, stings and bites, because it provides quick relief and calming. Freshly squeezed juice from the leaves of the houseplant is used in the treatment of nervous disorders, epilepsy and restless dreams. The leaves are edible and can be used as an addition to salads or stews. They are not particularly tasty, but as they are rich in water, they can be put in a juicer together with other fruits or vegetables and become a refreshing drink. It is used in folk herbal medicine and as a medicine. The aim of this study was to determine the moisture content, total extracted substances, extract density, vitamin C, organic acids and proteins in house extracts.
