The implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into learning activities presents a significant effect on the quality of education, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The present study aims to evaluate the level of implementation of ICT in learning activities for vocational teachers. This experimental research used survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents with different subject expertise.The results showed that the use of ICTs in learning process has not been implemented optimally. This is caused by the low competence of teachers in the sector of information and communication technology. In addition, the lack of ICT infrastructure in schools causes a deceleration in the development of ICT-based learning models. Comprehensive improvement need to be implemented so that the development of ICT-based learnings model can be performed. The results of this study are expected to provide positive feedback to improve the quality of Indonesian education

Many can be used to improve the quality of teachers, among others, the implementation of Classroom Action Research (PTK). Quality of education will increase if teachers have an compose a pediagogic, personality, competence, and professional competency. PTK is the most appropriate step to improve the quality of learning. This quality improvement will positively affect teachers and student. For teachers, PTK is a reflective action over the learning that it does. All this time, the teacher is still considered and assumes his or her other resources out of less effort to improve the model and the learning model used. By performing the PTK, the teacher will know the actual condition that he or she faces. The workshop participants were provided with knowledge about the aspects of PTK also in the preparation of a good PTK and hope that they could provide refreshment to teachers relating to the PTK, so that the teachers could do the research as well as to solve the problem of the teaching process they lead. In addition, the objective is also to stimulate teachers to produce a written article published in the field of education. In the case of the service to the community this teacher is directly guided so as to be able to make the PTK in a separate, multi-disciplinary. From the activities undertaken by the team found a very significant improvement in terms of understanding of teachers in preparing the PTK. This is obtained from the pre test (question and answer) conducted ahead of the activity and post test post activities. Although there is a significant increase in understanding, there is still a need for teachers' independence and intuition in understanding the compilation of PTK more deeply. The community service team provides wide access for workshop participants to communicate both orally and through social networking so that the competence can be developed. In addition, the team devotion to the community also provides modules and literature that can be used as a reference in the preparation of PTK. <p><em>The problem in the world of education at this time is the quality and quantity of education in the field of information and communication technology. The quality of education can be seen from the quality of education desired by the community and for the quality of education related to the equitable access to education without any gap. One way to overcome these problems is by optimizing the role of information and communication technology in the learning process by using e-learning. E-learning used is using online learning based on Schoology. In this application there are several features that can be used by the teacher in the learning process including uploading material, assignments, discussions and giving test questions using the online quiz system. In the use of E-Learning in the learning process can increase students' learning motivation and can create enjoyable learning so that students in participating in learning activities can be active and achieve maximum learning outcomes.</em></p>

The aims of the research were to know (a) the stackholders’ perception on the Education Management Departement, (b) the difference of personal performance between those with and without management education background , (c) the relevance of management education curriculum to the need of working field, and (d) the stakeholder’s expectation of the graduates and the academic product. The research was focused on the society’s expectation of Management Education Departement that provides the competence of palanning, actating, supervising, and controlling. Applying survey method, the research identified all education managers at central, province, district, subdistrict, and school levels. Samples were chosen using proportional stratified random sampling. The data were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively to draw conclusions indicating that the society needs the graduates of Education Management Department and the existing curriculum is still releveant. The research suggested to improve the quality of instructional process benefitting advanced information and communication technology to meet the developing needs of the society.

In the industrial revolution 4.0 era, teacher needs to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) in learning. The professionalism competencies proclaimed by teachers also require teachers to be able to develop interactive and interesting learning media so that there is an increase in the quality of learning. This challenge is inversely proportional to the conditions in the field, namely that there are no teachers in the Mathematics Teacher Association(MGMP) at SMA and SMK in Bintan Regency who develop learning multimedia and utilize technology such as social media as learning media. For this reason, Community Service (PkM) activities needs to be conducted, with theme disseminating learning multimedia with videoscribe on social media (e-learning). The PkM activity was concluded to be going well with indicator 1) 100% participant (teacher) got involved during mentoring; 2) the production of learning video by teachers and the dissemination of the learning videos on the YouTube channel; 3) teacher participants require for more training activities.

AbstrakTeknologi komputasi awan saat ini sedang berkembang dengan pesat, hal ini tentunya dikarenakan keuntungan-keuntungan yang ditawarkan serta karakteristik layanannya yang menjadikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi sebuah alat yang lebih efisien dan efektif. Dunia pendidikan yang sudah mulai banyak menggunakankomputasi awanatau disebut dengan pendidikan awan. Penelitian kali ini dilakukan dengan sebuah kajian analisis pemanfaatan dari komputasi awan dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan yang berada di daerah-daerah pinggiran sesuai dengan program Nawacita dari Pemerintahan Jokowi-JK, pemenuhan 21st century learning skills dan pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan. Dalam kajian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pendidikan menggunakan komputasi awantidak hanya menawarkan sebuah cara dan model pembelajaran baru yang bersifat out of box untuk menghilangkan permasalahan geografis dan ketidakmerataan sumber daya pendidikan yang ada pada “daerah pinggiran”, akan tetapi lebih kepada upaya untuk membangun budaya baru dalam belajar. Sehingga dalam rangka pengintegrasian teknologi komputasi awan ke dalam sistem pendidikan diperlukan peranan pemerintah melalui regulasi pendukung, mendukung peran dari PUSTEKKOM sebagai pusat pelayanan dan pembangunan budaya baru belajar menggunakan teknologi komputasi awan. AbstractAbstract: Today the developing of cloud computing technology is arising, this is because of the advantages that offering and service characteristic by cloud computing what making information and communication technology as an effective and efficiency device. The study was based on the development of information and communication technology (ICT), which enters theworld of education. ICT developments are always dynamic, so teachers need to adapt every dynamicdevelopment of ICT. Master Islamic senior high schools in Garut regency reached 1281 people, so to see thelevel of knowledge and competence utilization of ICT-based learning media need proper research. The survey of1281 people taking population recorded as a teacher of Islamic senior high schools. The sample of this researchis 100 people. The level of competence of teachers in the use of media-based learning information andcommunication technologies have a considerable level. The relationship between the level of knowledge with thelevel of teacher competence Islamic senior high schools in Garut has a very strong correlation value. Based onthe results of the study, submitted suggestions that teachers Aliyah madrasas in Garut has a high potential in thedevelopment of teaching and learning. Thus, to obtain an increase in the need for knowledge of the authority ofthe government to hold trainings, workshops, etc., so that the quality of education will be more advanced.

Salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yaitu memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) untuk pendidikan. Pemanfaatan TIK untuk pendidikan juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk sekolah di daerah 3T (Terpencil, Tertinggal, dan Terdepan). Pemanfaatan TIK untuk daerah 3T menggunakan prinsip 1) empowering (pemberdayaan), 2) button up (tumbuh dari bawah), 3) sustainability (keberlangsungan), 4) pendekatan pembelajaran modern, dan 5) partnership (kemitraan). Setelah dilakukan kajian hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan TIK untuk daerah 3T dengan berdasarkan kelima prinsip tersebut menunjukkan mampu mendorong guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, memotivasi siswa untuk rajin ke sekolah, dan mengajak partisipasi masyarakat untuk menyekolahkan anaknya yang lebih tinggi.Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan, TIK, pendidikan, daerah terdepan, terpencil, dan tertinggalAbstract: This article aimed to offer a thought and solution to solve the uneven quality of education in Indonesia. One of efforts to increase education quality was done by utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) for education. ICT could also be utilized for schools in remote, undeveloped, and frontier areas. The utilization of ICT for those regions was under the principles of 1) empowerment, 2) bottom-up, 3) sustainability, 4) modern learning approach, and 5) partnership. The result of the study showed that the utilization of ICT under those five principlies was able to encourage teachers to increase learning quality, to motivate students to be diligent, and to persuade community to send their children to higher level of school.Key Words: utilization, ICT, education, frontier areas, remote areas, undeveloped areas.

So far, in implementing school strategies, they tend not to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT), despite the availability of ICT resources available. Stages of strategic management are needed to generate the vision, mission, objectives, policy, program, budget, and procedures as well as control and evaluation process as an effort to utilize ICT to improve school quality. Based on the interpretation and the results of the study, it is concluded that schools have organized stages in strategic management that enable schools to have a quality profile. The impact of effective utilization of ICTs for schools is the achievement of effective school management, as per the National Education Standards, which is characterized by effective planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of school ICTs.The purpose of this study is to get a general description, describe, and reveal the Strategic Management of Information and Communication Technology Utilization to Improve the Quality of School Learning in Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational High School and Garut 1 Vocational High School, both on environmental analysis, strategic formulation, implementation and strategic evaluation. The research method used in this research is the case study method, because the problems studied occur in the place and situation of Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational School and Vocational High School 1 Garut. The use of case study models in this study is based on the consideration that to provide an overview of the strategic management activities of the use of ICTs carried out at vocational high schools with the ultimate goal of being able to improve the quality of school learning. Based on observations in the field of SMK 1 Garut and SMK Al Musaddadiyah Ciledug Garut is one of the public schools and private schools that have these advantages.

The development of ICTs has strongly influenced many different aspects of social life, including education and training. ICTs application and management of ICTs applications has become an indispensable trend and has a profound effect on improving the quality of education and training. The author has analyzed the current state of ICTs application management in teaching in lower secondary schools in rural, midland and mountainous areas from which 6 management solutions for applying information and communication technology in teaching in lower secondary schools in accordance with the school’s practice.
