This study was aims to explore, describe, and analyze parent support for the speech delay early childhood. This study used to the qualitative method of the research subject is both parents of children who experience speech delay in Kalisari village. This study was used to three methods of data collection, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analyze used to descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the discussion that has been described it can be concluded that parent support that has been given to children who experience speech delay is informational support, assessment support, instrumental support, emotional social support, and real support. Of the five supports, the researchers concluded that the support often used by subjects was informational support, namely parents provided support through the provision of good advice and advice, giving instructions by installing pictures in the refrigerator so that the twins could understand the food taken and want to say food they took, and provided information by taking the twins for a walk to get a new vocabulary.

This study discusses the isomorphic learning model based on the Qur'an in early childhood Islamic education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which was confirmed by three educators at PIAUD Amanah Bunda Tangerang during December 2019 to February 2020 through deep interviews. Research shows that in applying the isomorphic learning model, educators have several obstacles, namely: lack of parental support, lack of support from the surrounding environment, and lack of ability of educators to explore educational concepts in the Qur'an. Some of these obstacles can be overcome by conducting home visits, educational partners, and upgrading the study of the Qur'an. This study also shows that to foster noble character, it is carried out by introducing moral education, worship education and monotheism education. If associated with the isomorphic learning model, moral education is related to the disciplines of psychology, sociology, anthropology. While worship education is closely related to the science of health, nutrition and physiology. Finally, monotheism education is related to the science of neuroscience, aiming to optimize the work of the mind to study all of Allah's creations that exist on earth and in the sky. Thus, the isomorphic learning model based on the Qur'an which focuses on aspects of faith and morality as the foundation for early childhood Islamic education becomes an obligation to be implemented.

ABSTRACTThis study assesses the relationship between the number of work hours and the provision of instrumental support to parents among 779 middle-aged women and men in dual-worker couples in The Netherlands. Using data from the Netherlands Kinship Panel Study collected during 2002–04, we estimate a simultaneous two-stage probit least-squares model, which takes into account that the competing time and financial demands of a person's engagement in paid work and parental support are endogenous. We explicitly control for the effects of partners' earnings, housework and parent-support contributions, and of co-resident children's time demands and help with domestic tasks. Contrary to expectations, the results do not reveal a conflict between paid work and giving support to parents. Several possible explanations are discussed. The results emphasise the importance of the household context, in that the work hours of both women and men depend on other household members' activities and finances, as does men's provision of parent-support. The striking lack of relationships between women's provision of parental support and any individual and contextual characteristic demonstrates the persistence of gendered roles in family members giving support.

Career planning is the first step of students in achieving success. One factor that plays a role in career planning is parental support. The purpose of this study is to measure the support of parents in vocational student career planning. The aspects of parental support in this study are, 1) emotional support, 2) esteem support, 3) instrumental support, and 4) information support. This study involved 112 students drawn from classes X, XI and XII. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling. The results showed that parental support played an important role in student career planning.

Islamic Education for Early Childhood should be based on the values of manners, characters or moral animated by the Al-Quran and Sunnah. Achieving manners, characters or the perfect moral are the real purpose of education. Additionally, manners, characters or morality is a basic foundation of one's life in society and the state. The purpose of this paper is to know more clearly what is Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD), and how these concepts in disruption era. The conclusion is the Early Childhood Islamic Education will get more from a family environment, education as a preparation for the child to live in the larger environment, the people. The education should be given to early children is 1) Faith Education and Investment 2) Worship Education and Investment 3) Character Education and development. The Islamic concepts of early childhood education in the era of disruption must start from the family as the first education for children. And the things that must be waged to the families in order to instill the concept of Islamic education itself are: 1) Parents should understand their roles and responsibilities; 2) Family as the first education for children; 3) Commitment to being a good educator for children: 4) Modelling the Prophet as an example; 5) Choose a good school for the children; 6). Being a parent does not have to know everything. And all the concepts of Islamic education will be given to the children by doing the method of habituation, modelling, giving good advice, every attitudes should be punished or rewarded, ordering and prohibiting.

World Health Organization (WHO) states that the clinical signs that develop rapidly due to focal or global brain function disorders due to a blockage or rupture of blood vessels in the brain that lasted for 24 hours or more.This study aims to determine the Family Support Relationship With Quality of Life on Stroke Occurrence at Poly Nerve General Hospital of Makassar Hajj Area 2017. The research design was observational with cross sectional approach. Sample amounted to 54 by using simple random sampling technique. The result of the research was obtained by informational support with x2 count (4,352)> x2 table (3,841), emotional support p value (0,751)> 0,05, instrumental support with p value (0,346)> 0,05, award support with value x2 count (5,178)> x2 table (3,841). Based on the results of the study, the conclusion of this study found that there is a relationship of informational support and awards support, While emotional support and instrumental support is not associated with Quality of Life stroke incidence. This study suggests to families to provide more support to patients so as to improve the quality of life.Keywords           : Family Support and Quality of Life (QOL)

This study aims at describing and analyzing the internalization of national awareness through raudlotul athfal (RA; an Islamic early childhood education institution) with the spirit of Aswaja an-Nahdliyah. Aswaja an-Nahdliyah is an ideology adopted by Nahdlatul Ulama, a major Islamic religious organization in Indonesia. This study argues that the internalization of the national awareness needs to be instilled from early age to anticipate the influence of globalization which is feared to erode the original character of a nation. Within the study, the qualitative method was adopted in order to answer two research questions: (1) how Islamic early childhood educational institutions develop nationalism awareness through the teachings of Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah; and (2) how the institutions construct the awareness of nationalism through the teachings of Ahlusunnah wal Jamaah. The results of the study show that the internalization of nationalism awareness through Islamic early childhood education institutions with the Aswaja an-Nahdliyah’s spirit has been carried out through curriculum content which has been systematically arranged in each research subject with the principle of considering early childhood characteristics. At the same time, the results of the study also show that the construction of nationalism awareness in the Islamic early childhood education institutions can be seen in Islamic holidays and national activities which were held on the Islamic early childhood institutions.

Purposes of the study: The purpose of this study was to describe the way to develop social-emotional intelligence in early childhood through play activities. A child doesn’t have social Emotional intelligence naturally in early childhood, but it must be nurtured and developed by parents and teachers in schools through developing social and emotional aspects of early childhood that can be done with various methods. Methodology: This study used a qualitative approach to the literature model. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with content analysis techniques consisting of developing the social and emotional aspects of early childhood is through playing activities. Result: The researcher found that playing activities by children can develop social-emotional of early childhood among others. The activities such as playing in small groups like children’s traditional games or playing with tools such as balls, marbles, rubber and, other tools. Implication/Applications: The findings of this study can help young children to be able to improve the development of social-emotional intelligence caused by hereditary factors and the environment through play activities. In this play, the activity can increase positive attitudes including honest behavior, independence, responsibility, fair, confident, fair, loyal friends, and the nature of compassion towards others and have high tolerance and demanded cooperation between others

Stunting is caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infectious diseases. Stunting in Pasongsongan Village affects less than 20% of the children under two, leading to problems in growth in early childhood. Ocean fish is the main animal products in this village on the coast, but it turned out that it is not served to the children, even if they should have begun to be introduced to animal products by the age of 9 months. The purpose of this study was to observe the practices of complementary feeding among stunted children under the age of two in Pasongsongan Village. This research was carried out by qualitative method. The informants were twelve mothers of children under the age of two. Data was collected from interviews, observations and documentation. The stunted children only consumed rice porridge until the age of one, which means that the food intake contains mostly carbohydrates. The mothers who have stunted children have argued that the children’s intestines is not strong enough to digest food with coarser texture like eggs, fish, beef and chicken. Sea fish are given when the children can walk because there has long been a belief that fish contain worms. No feeding fishes and other animal products that are good source of protein can affect their growth in a nega- tive way. The feeding practice of stunted children under the age of two in Pasongsongan Village was strongly influenced by culture. The mindsets of mothers of the stunted children regarding feeding practices must be changed.

Background: Physical activity (PA) provides important health benefits to children, and a large percentage of children’s PA occurs at home. The purpose of this study was to examine the associations between psychosocial, home, and neighborhood environmental factors and children’s reported PA at home and in the neighborhood, during the transition from elementary to high school. Methods: A total of 555 participants (44% boys) were recruited in grade 5 and followed through grades 6, 7, and 9. Children self-reported PA in 3 locations—at home, in the neighborhood, and on the street. Children reported parent support and neighborhood environment, parents reported PA equipment, and a windshield survey assessed incivilities and outside PA equipment. Longitudinal Poisson models evaluated the relationships between environmental variables and 3 self-reported PA variables, adjusting for gender, race/ethnicity, and parent education. Results: Parent support and PA equipment were significant positive predictors of home PA. Child’s perceived environment (positive) and incivilities (negative) were significant predictors of neighborhood PA. Parental support, perceived environment, and outside PA equipment were positive significant predictors of street PA. Conclusions: This study supports the need for both family and community/neighborhood PA interventions that encourage parents to support child PA and for communities to reduce incivilities.
