Balinese traditional dance and music are imbued with the values, cultural identity and artistic expression of the Balinese, with close links to the Hindu religion. Balinese Hindus in particular strongly believe that dance and music are mediums to bring them closer to the gods. In Bali, religion, art and culture are fused together in daily life. For the Balinese, no religious ceremony is complete without the presence of art and culture. Equally as important as dance and music, living in harmony with the environment for the sake of human survival is another strong conviction among the people of Bali. In addition to music and dance performances, nature is believed to hold many supernatural powers which cannot be understood by mankind. People are expected to maintain a harmonious relationship between all elements. This is why dance and music are continuously maintained and developed over time. The strong adherence of the Balinese people to Hinduism contributes to the preservation of traditional dance and music so that these traditions may never be lost. This paper was first presented on the Workshop of Hindu Art in Southeast Asia hosted by SEAMEO SPAFA, on May 28, 2017, at ISI Denpasar and has been peer-reviewed.

Bali is an island in Indonesia that is rich in culture, for example, is a traditional dance. The traditional dance performance is diverse from one village to another village in Bali. The traditional Balinese dance knowledge should be captured dan documented well in a digital form so that it can be shared easily to different people and generation across the world. The use of ontology as an information representation technique is the preferred solution in this matter because ontology can be used to enhance the development of semantic applications, especially when dealing with semantic webs. In this project, the ontology was built using Protege ontology development tool.  We follow the methontology ontology development method where this methodology clearly describes each of its activity. In this study, we focus to describe two variants of Balinese traditional dance (Barong dance and Pendet dance). In the future, we expect that more type of dance can be documented using our proposed ontology. Keywords: Balinese Dance, Ontology,Semantic Web

<em>The development of time because of the existence of globalization led to moral degradation in children. To overcome the moral degradation of the child, it is necessary to have learning innovations in improving the quality of basic education which requires an analysis of character education using methods of observation and questionnaire by entering the results of analysis into ITP software (Development Task Inventory) and  ATP (Analysis of Development Task). The existence of ITP and ATP can identify the level of development of aspects related to character education in primary school. Mental revolution starts from the education. Education is very important, as the strategic role of educations is to form children's mental nation. Development of culture and national character is realized through the area of education. Character development education is a continuous process and never ends (never ending process). As long as a nation exist, a character education must be an integral part of education over the generations. Implementation of character education should not be linked to the budget. It takes commitment and integrity of the stakeholders in the education sector to seriously implement the values of life in every lesson. Character education does not just teach what is right and what is wrong, but also inculcate the habit (habituation) of which one is a good thing. By doing so, students become acquainted (cognitive) about which one is good and bad, able to feel (affective) good value (loving the good/moral feeling), and behavior (moral action), and used to do (psychomotor). Thus, character education is closely related to the habit (custom) practiced and performed. Children do not need a curriculum, but a real life that support them. They learn from real life. What happens now, a lot of value or an existing teachings that are obscured, covered up with a lie that is packaged in an iconic form of advertising that is actually misleading.

This study aims to internalize Sufism-based character education through the musicalization of Qasida Burdah. This research uses a social action method, self-reflection research conducted by researchers together with participants in social situations to improve, solve problems, empower, develop, or advocate for certain social communities. This research was conducted at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Ciamis-Indonesia for five months, starting from October 2019 to February 2020. The internalization of Sufism-based character education through Qasida Burdah was carried out through three stages of action. The first stage is 'deepening words' as a basic understanding to animate every poem text Qasida Burdah. The second stage is the 'deepening of meaning' as a step to instill substantial value from the poetry of Qasida Burdah. The final stage is to appreciate music as a preliminary reflection-praxis to the depth of the word and meaning of the poetry of Qasida Burdah. Through Qasida Burdah's musicalization, students (santri) become more religious, more disciplined, more respectful of others, more respectful of differences, more tolerant, not rude, arrogant, pretentious, and ignorant of others. This shows that Sufism-based character development can be done using a variety of media, including musical media.

A 3rd place acts as an vital place in our daily life, aside from home as the 1st place or workplace as the 2nd place. 3rd place is a neutral public space, often seen as an alternative for some people. Everyone is welcome to visit and to do lots of activities on it. A 3rd place doesn’t have a fixed form, it can be anything the community around it needs it to be.Kawasan Senen was known as the centre of trade and art since forever. It can be seen from its history that became the birthplace of some of the finest artists in Indonesia. When Taman Ismail Marzuki was built on November 10th, 1968, the value of art in Kawasan Senen began to fade. But as time goes by, the value of art in Kawasan Senen begins to rise again. This event can be seen by the rise of art activities around Kawasan Senen such as Wayang Orang Bharata Purwa show that runs every Saturday, the free traditional dance classes that were held by Museum Kebangkitan Nasional and the emergence of Komunitas Planet Senen (KOPS) that actively trying to reintroduce the value of art to the Senen community. Senen Collective Art Space project was built on the hope to become the 3rd place to the community as well as providing and strengthening the value of Kawasan Senen. Keyword: Art in Senen; Collective Art; Neutral Public Space; Third Place AbstrakThe 3rd place merupakan tempat penting yang dibutuhan masyarakat, selain dari rumah sebagai the 1st place maupun tempat kerjanya sebagai 2nd place.
