This study aims to provide an overview of the application of EDS as an effort to improve the quality of primary schools. This research was conducted in Ponorogo District with elementary school research object and elementary school operator in UPTD Jenangan District and UPTD Pulung District. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are (1) interview, (2) observation, and (3) documentation. The data analysis used is a qualitative technique, namely to examine the problem on a case by case basis because the researcher believes that the nature of a problem one will be different from the nature of the other problem.The results showed that school self-evaluation became an alternative for schools to improve school quality. With school self-evaluation, school strengths and weaknesses are known. Furthermore, with the school self-evaluation, will be known position of school accreditation.

 Abstract: This research is aimed to give an idea about the implementation of self-evaluation of elementary school of Evaluasi Mutu Internal (EMI) model in Kabupaten Ponorogo. This research was conducted in Kabupaten Ponorogo with elementary school research object and elementary school operator in UPTD Kecamatan Jenangan  and UPTD Kecamatan Pulung. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are (1) interview, (2) observation, and (3) documentation. The data analysis used is a qualitative technique, namely to examine the problem on a case by case basis because the researcher believes that the nature of a problem one will be different from the nature of the other problem. The results show that self-evaluation of elementary school EMI model becomes alternative for primary school in preparation of self-evaluation. Self-evaluation of elementary school EMI model has advantages because it can be done easily, quickly, efficiently, and effectively. In addition, self-evaluation of the EMI model can be the basis for the preparation of short and long-term school work plans (RKS). Keywords: Self Evaluation, EMI, Character, Superior School Abstrak: Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang penerapan evaluasi diri sekolah dasar model Evaluasi Mutu Internal (EMI) di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Ponorogo dengan objek penelitian kepala sekolah dasar dan operator sekolah dasar di UPTD Kecamatan Jenangan dan UPTD Kecamatan Pulung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah (1) wawancara, (2) observasi, dan (3) dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik kualitatif, yakni mengkaji masalah secara kasus per kasus karena peneliti yakin bahwa sifat suatu masalah satu akan berbeda dengan sifat dari masalah lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi diri sekolah dasar model EMI menjadi alternatif bagi sekolah dasar dalam penyusunan evaluasi diri. Evaluasi diri sekolah dasar model EMI memiliki kelebihan karena bisa dilakukan dengan mudah, cepat, efisien, dan efektif. Di samping itu, evaluasi diri model EMI bisa menjadi dasar penyusunan rencana kerja sekolah (RKS) jangka pendek dan jangka panjang.  Kata kunci:  Evaluasi Diri, EMI, Karakter, Sekolah Unggul

The purpose of this study is to find problems in improving the quality of schools and find strategies that can be done by Principals to improve the quality of schools by fulfilling adequate classrooms. The method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results of his research, namely (1) problems in improving school quality, namely the lack of adequate classrooms and (2) strategies that can be carried out by school principals to improve school quality by fulfilling adequate classrooms include: (a) inviting parents students to come to school aim to socialize (explain the problems that exist in the school about the lack of classrooms and the need to fulfill adequate classrooms and plans for the construction of adequate classrooms) and (2) establish partnerships with industry or private companies.

ABSTRACTLibraries have an important role in the field of education, for research purposes, preservation of information resources and recreation areas. Libraries also have a role in increasing the intelligence and empowerment of the nation, as a human person who always wants to advance and the development of institutions that are increasingly experiencing intense competition. This study seeks to see the role of the library in improving the quality of elementary schools at SDIT Salsabila 2 Klaseman, both with regard to student achievement and the progress of the institution. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, data collection is done by looking directly at the object of research (direct observation) interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that libraries have an important role in improving the quality of elementary schools such as the development of library facilities; there is a special room, a growing collection of books, modern service systems, air-conditioned room facilities, computers and LCD projectors are available and also supports children's achievements in winning several championships including in the PAI quiz competition and the MIPA OlympiadKeywords: Quality Improvement of Elementary Schools: The Role of Libraries

The purpose of this paper is to assess the extent of relevance of the federal character as a national policy in recruitment into the Nigerian federal civil service and probe whether or not the level of application of merit supersedes the application of ecological considerations in recruitment into the service. It utilizes quantitative and qualitative data collection to espouse its theme. The paper finds that there are personnel problems connected with poor application of federal character policy in recruitment into the civil service and this affects the quality of entrants. It recommends strict application of merit standard to attract best workers while implementing federal character policy through proven certification of state of applicants. The paper notes that the Nigerian federal character policy is one that places premium on state representation in governance and bureaucracy and a strategy for national integration. However, there must be predominant application of merit in recruitment.

This research was conducted at Public Elementary School 68 Palembang with 34 teachers as respondents in the study sample. In this study there are three research variables consisting of two independent variables Principal Competence (X1) and Community Participation (X2), and one dependent variable Quality of Educational Services (Y). The extent to which the realization and role of community participation in education depends on the understanding of the community itself in education, and depends on the ability of the school. Quality education services are educational services that are in accordance with the plan and achieve the goals set and can meet the expectations and needs of customers. The results obtained in this study illustrate that the quality of educational services in Public Elementary School 68 Palembang is very good and can meet customer needs.

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the service quality of Kanaan Christian Elementary School in Banjarmasin. Type of research is evaluative research with descriptive qualitative methods using SERVQUAL model which measures the gap between consumer perceptions and expectations based on dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibility. Data were collected by interview, also using a SERVQUAL and school’s input, process and output aspect questionnaire. The results showed that the perception of service from customers is quite good and able to meet the minimum expectations although it has not reached the desired expectations. The order of SERVQUAL's five dimensions from most satisfying to least satisfying is: tangibility, reliability, empathy, assurance, and responsiveness. It can be concluded that the dimension of responsiveness is in the most unsatisfactory position because currently the management of Kanaan Christian Elementary School in Banjarmasin seems like there is no one taking a leader role. Things that can be considered by Kanaan Christian Elementary School are to keep and prove the promise that has been delivered so that customers are not easily disappointed and also involve parents in a word of mouth marketing strategy due to the character of target customers are critical, like to gather and chat together. Keywords: educational service; school quality; SERVQUAL Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kualitas jasa di SD Kristen Kanaan Banjarmasin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluatif dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan model SERVQUAL yang mengukur kesenjangan antara persepsi dan ekspektasi konsumen berdasarkan dimensi reliabilitas, daya tanggap, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dibantu kuesioner berinstrumen SERVQUAL dan aspek input, proses dan output sekolah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persepsi layanan jasa dari pelanggan cukup baik dan cukup memenuhi harapan minimum walaupun belum mencapai harapan yang diinginkan. Urutan lima dimensi SERVQUAL dari yang paling memuaskan hingga yang paling tidak memuaskan adalah: bukti fisik, keandalan, empati, jaminan, dan daya tanggap. Disimpulkan dimensi daya tanggap berada di posisi paling tidak memuaskan adalah karena saat ini manajemen SD Kristen Kanaan Banjarmasin seolah seperti tidak ada yang mengambil peran pemimpin. Hal yang dapat menjadi pertimbangan SD Kristen Kanaan adalah agar dapat menjaga dan membuktikan janji yang telah disampaikan agar pelanggan tidak mudah kecewa dan dapat melibatkan orang tua murid dalam strategi pemasaran mulut ke mulut mengingat karakter target pelanggan yang kritis, suka berkumpul dan mengobrol. Abstract This research describes several management of MI Nurul Ummah in order to improve the quality of education in the school, the type of research in this paper is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used by interview and also with various sources both from relevant books and journals. From the results of the writing, it is known that there are some policies implemented by MI Nurul Ummah management (1) Assisting the reading of Asmaul Husna, intends to educate students characters to love Allah through Asmaul Husna, (2) The implementation of Full Day School, the application of this policy is expected to make it easier to supervise students in the school, (3) Dhuha prayer in congregation, get children to pray in congregation and a good character building, (4) The training of teachers to upgrade teachers knowledge in order to produce a good quality of education. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the EFL training program in increasing the professionalism of teachers by using Deming’s concept. The method used was descriptive qualitative. Data collection used interview methods and documentation. The researcher used the Deming cycle, namely PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Plan, the school principal identified the problems that occur through School Self Evaluation. Then, the principal made a draft about the provision of training and the criteria to be achieved. Do, the principal in collaboration with supervisors in determining the type of training needed was tailored to the needs. Check, the principal evaluated and monitored the training program. Act, the principal evaluated and followed up on training. Keywords: Implementation, Training, Teacher Professionalism, and Deming's Concept Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program pelatihan EFL dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dengan menggunakan konsep Deming. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan siklus Deming yaitu PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Plan, kepala sekolah mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi melalui Evaluasi Diri Sekolah. Kemudian, kepala sekolah membuat rancangan tentang pengadaan pelatihan dan kriteria yang ingin dicapai. Do, kepala sekolah bekerjasama dengan supervisor dalam menentukan jenis pelatihan yang diperlukan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan. Check, kepala sekolah mengevaluasi dan memonitori program pelatihan. This research aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of educational innovation implemented by SD Muhamadiyah 7 Kota Bandung. By identifying supporting and inhibiting factors, the implementation of the innovation program is hoped can be more successful. The research method that was used in this research was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation study. Data analysis was performed by reducing data, displaying it, taking conclusions, verifying, analyzing, summarizing, and analyzing data. The research results show; supporting and inhibiting factors for educational innovation SD Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung City in developing the quality of school management, some are internal and external.

<em>This article aims to describe the importance of entrepreneurship at primary schools. This form of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection using observation sheets and interviews. The data obtained were collected and processed using qualitative analysis techniques. the results of this study indicate that the need for entrepreneurial management in primary schools to create independent and creative schoolchildren. In entrepreneurship at primary schools it is necessary to work together for the achievement of goals. The development of entrepreneurship management needs to perform the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling or supervising.</em>
