This study aims to determine the increase in the ability to understand the concept of grade V elementary students through the TGT learning model. Quasi experimental research method and Nonequivalent Control Design Group design. Participants in this study were the fourth grade students of SD who were 40 students. Sampling in this study uses Nonprobality and saturated sampling techniques. Data analysis in the study used the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts, and documentation. From the results of the understanding of mathematical concepts ability of elementary school students in Purwakarta experienced a significant increase after obtaining learning with the TGT model. This is evidenced by the results of the calculation of the N-gain test data obtained P-Value (Sig-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. The acquisition of the results of the average value of the experimental class Posttest is 60.25 and the results of the control class average Posttest score are 23.75. This means that an increased understanding of the experimental class mathematical concepts is higher than the control class. Thus it can be concluded that the TGT learning model is recommended as an alternative learning model in improving understanding of the mathematical concepts of elementary students in Purwakarta

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to think critically. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Controversial Issues (CI) learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The study design used Nonequivalent [Pre-Test and Post-Test] Control Groups Design (NCGD). The research samples were fourth grade students of SDN 4 Metro Timur, SDN 5 Metro Timur, SDN 8 Metro Timur, and SDN 10 Metro Timur, 60 students were used as the experimental class and 60 students were used as the control class. Data collection tools in the form of sheets about students' critical thinking skills. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, namely pretest to measure the initial ability of students' critical thinking skills and posttest to see the final ability. Based on the results of the study concluded that the effectiveness of the use of the Controversial Issues learning model affects the critical thinking skills of class IV elementary school students, so that students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class are much better when compared to the control class that has conventional learning. Geography Learning in XI Social Science Classes still dominated by conventional teaching methods that make students become unmotivated in learning. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a model of learning that can foster activity and student’s level of knowledge. The Group Investigation Learning model (GI) has several advantages. Advantages of Group Investigation Learning model among others: (1) increase the ability to think critically, (2) creating a learning environment that is democratic, (3) enhance the development of soft skills, (4) may improve social solidarity, dan (5) improve student’s level of knowledge to learn.The purpose of this study to analyzethe influence of group investigation learning model towards the level of knowledge of Geography students in senior highschool. The type of research is the quasi-experimental study with nonequivalentcontrol group posttest only design. The subject of the study consisted of class XI Social Scienceare selected based on the score of Middle Semester Exam (UTS) 2 on 2014-2015 teachings year that had an average of almost the same (homogeneous).The results of this study are showed significant influence of GI models on Geographylevel of knowledge  to learn  of students.  It was based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 level. P-level value is smaller than 0.05 (p <0.05). The average score student’s level of knowledge to learn geography experimental class is higher with a score of 208, while the control class with a score of 177. That's because the investigations conducted the mangrove forest, teachers simply deliver early learning problems, frequent interaction between students during learning, and students investigate different sub-themes.   Keywords: Group Investigation Learning, Level of knowledge, Conservation PDF

<p class="Abstract"><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong><em> This study aims to improve the skills of writing interview reports through Think Talk Write Learning Model for fourth grade of SD N Serengan II No. 256 Surakarta Academic year 2018/2019. The technique of collecting data uses observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Test validity of data using content validity and technical triangulation. The data analysis technique used an interactive model consisting of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing.This study is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were teachers and students, which 31 students. The results showed that the pre-action class average value of 55.65 increased to 74.35 in first cycle, increasing again to 84.44 in second cycle. The number of students in pre-action who achieved KKM was 3 students (9.68%), in the second cycle as many as 20 students (64.52%), and experienced an increase again to as many as 26 students (82.26%) in the cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: through the Think Talk Write learning model can improve the skills of writing interview reports to fourth grade students of SD N Serengan II No. 256 Surakarta Academic Year 2018/2019.</em></p><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>Think Talk Write learning model, writing skills, Skills for writing report on interview results, Elementary School</em>

<p>This study aims to determine the implementation of Double Critical Technology Society (DCTS) learning model on the critical thinking skills of 7<sup>th</sup> grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Suhaid. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with posttest only design. Samples were taken from 7<sup>th</sup> grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Suhaid in the first semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year which consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research instruments used were a test to measure students' critical thinking skills after DCTS learning model was applied and a questionnaire to measure student responses after being given a DCTS learning model. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent sample t test. The results of data analysis with the independent sample t test showed that the significance value of students 'critical thinking skills was 0.00 less than 0.05 so there was an influence on the implementation of the DCTS learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The critical thinking skills of the experimental class students with an average value of 71.30 were better than the control class which had an average value of 50.23. The results of the assessment of the response questionnaire with an average of 83.25 showed an excellent response from students to the DCTS learning model.</p>

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of an approach to improve elementary school students’ critical thinking skills. The approach is called MIKIR that stands for mengalami (experiencing), interaksi (interaction), komunikasi (Communication), internalisasi (internalization), and refleksi (reflection). This research was conducted at a public elementary school in Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Indonesia. The subject of this research was 23 fourth grade students. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental method. The experimental design used in this study was pre-test and post-test one group design. The results of the study obtained an average pretest score of 22.13 and an average posttest score of 27.70 from a maximum score of 36. Based on these results, the score increased by 5.57 points or 20.10%. The overall average N-gain value of 0.41 with moderate criteria, so that the MIKIR approach can improve fourth grade students’ critical thinking skills. This result was supported by the results of student learning activities and student responses to learning with the MIKIR approach obtaining an average of 84.6% with a very good category.

In this study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation on PAI students in grade IV who have implemented the Quantum Teaching and Learning learning model with the motivation to learn PAI in fourth grade students who apply Conventional learning models. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire, and to determine the control and experimental classes used the pretest-posttest control group design, which class is of low value and will be used as the experimental and class high grades will be used as a control class. The object of his research was fourth grade students of SDN Tegal Sawah I, which numbered 40 people, divided into 2 classes, experimental class 20 people and classes. Control 20 people. Based on the results of research and data analysis, the average experimental class pretest was 49.4 and the control class was 48.25. After being given treatment and posttesting that the results of the experimental class were 68.1 higher than the control class average value of 54.75. Calculation of hypotheses using the t-test is a paired sample T test and obtained at a significant level of 0.05 shows that the probability value (significance) is 0.00. because of the significance value, then Ho is rejected. This proves that the use of the Quantum Teaching and Learning learning model influences the learning motivation of PAI students in fourth grade SDN Tegalsawah I.

The level of understanding of mathematical concepts is still low due to the lack of application of learning models and media that can improve students' mastery of concepts. The purpose of this study was to reveal the construction pattern of mastery of mathematical concepts through the TPS learning model assisted by conversion tool games using Transcript Based Learning Analysis (TBLA). This study involved 28 students of grade 5. In this study, it was divided into 2 cycles, namely cycle 1 focused on the unit length conversion material while the cycle concentrated on the material addition and subtraction of length unit conversion. Activities in each cycle will be recorded via video or audio, then the recording will be used as a transcript of the learning dialogue then analyzed with the type of communication reson. In addition to transcript analysis in the last activity students are given a written exam through LKS (Student Work Sheet). This study obtained the results that in the first cycle the class average value reached 75.36, the second cycle the average value reached 78.93, and the graduation percentage value reached 82%. So it can be concluded that this research is related to the mastery of the concept of addition and reduction in the conversion of units of length which is successful

Kejadian dismenorea primer di Indonesia sekitar 54,89%, sisanya 45,11% dismenorea sekunder. Dismenorea primer  pada siswi SMP X dari 35 siswi 25 siswi mengalami disminor bila haid. Salah satu pengobatan dismenorea secara non-farmakologis yaitu hipnoterapi. Hipnoterapi merupakan salah satu cara yang mudah, cepat, efektif, dan efisien dalam menjangkau pikiran bawah sadar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea pada siswi SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test-post-test. Jumlah populasi yang didapat 117 orang dan jumlah sampel yang diambil 20 orang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh secara langsung dari responden dengan menggunakan alat ukur Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS). Analisis data melalui dua tahapan, yaitu univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji t-dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata skala dismenorea sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 6,50 dan nilai rata-rata sesudah diberikan intervensi adalah 1,35, terdapat pengaruh hipnoterapi terhadap dismenorea (t=17,596, p-value= 0,001). Hipnoterapi dapat disarankan untuk diterapkan sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk mengatasi dismenorea.Kata kunci: Dismenorea primer, hipnoterapi, SMP.Effect of Hypnotherapy on Alleviating Primary Dysmenorrhea in Junior High School StudentsAbstractThe incidence of primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia amounts to approximately 54.89%, while another 45.11% is secondary dysmenorrhea. 25 out of 35 female students at SMP Patriot Bangsa (Patriot Bangsa Junior High School) experience primary dysmenorrhea when menstruating. One of nonpharmacological treatments for dysmenorrhea is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is an easy, fast, effective, and efficient way to treat dysmenorrhea by reaching the subconcious. This research aimed to identify the effect of hypnotherapy on dysmenorrhea in junior high school students. This research used a pre-experimental method with one group pretest- posttest design. The population of this research was 117 students and 20 students were chosen as sample with purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from respondents using Verbal Descriptor Scale (VDS) instrument. Data were analyzed in two steps, univariate and bivariate with t-dependent test. The results showed that the average value of dysmenorrhea before intervention is 6.5 and after intervention is 1.35. Hypnotherapy was found to have an effect on dysmenorrhea (t=17,596, p-value 0,001). It was suggested to the school that they should conduct nonpharmacological interventions such as hypnotherapy as treatment of dysmennorhea.Key words: Dysmenorrhea primer, hypnotherapy, SMP.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of CSM strategies on comprehension reading skills in classes V Padokan 2 Elementary School. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. In this study the subjects of the study were VA class students as the control class and V C as the experimental class with 28 VA and VC class students. Quantitative data analysis technique used is the calculation of independent sample t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, researchers can conclude that CSM strategies are more effective than conventional methods of reading comprehension learning. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t-test obtained by the value of Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) 0.014 <0.05. CSM strategy is an effective learning strategy seen from the average value of the experimental class posstest which is 81.61 higher than the control class average value of 72.96.
