The problem of this research was initiated by the learning process of Physical, Sport and Health Education which was not run well. This research was aimed at revealing the students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation toward the learning process of Physical, Sport and Health Education subject at SMP N 1 Kota Payakumbuh. This was a descriptive research. The population of the research was all of students (287) in grade VIII of SMP N 4 Kota Payakumbuh. By using random sampling technique, 20% (55 students) of the population were takenas the sample. The data were obtained by making use of the questionnaire of Gudman’s scale. The data gathered then were analyzed by using statistic of descriptive percentage. Based on the results of data analysis, it was figured out that: 1) the students’ intrinsic motivation toward Physical, Sport and Health Education subject at SMP N 4 Kota Payakumbuh is 44.6% (average), and 2) thestudents’ extrinsic motivation toward Physical, Sport and Health Education subject is 41.8% (average). From these results, it is concluded that the students’ motivation toward Physical, Sport and Health Education subject, in general, is in average category.

The problems of the research were the students who frequently came late to their class and were unserious in the learning process. This research sought to reveal the students’ motivation toward Physical and Health Education subject in State university of Padang. This research was conducted in December. The number of the sample involved was 134 students. The data were analyzed by using percentage formula. Based on the results of the research, it was found out that the students’ intrinsic motivation toward Physical and Health Education subject is in average category while their extrinsic motivation toward Physical and Health Educationsubject is in good category. The students’ motivation in general toward Physical and Health Education subject in State University of Padang is in average category.

This study describes the experiences on geriatric palliative care of 12 caregivers in Metro Manila. This study looks on the variation of experiences on motivation and social support in caregiving. This study used a qualitative-descriptive research design and involved key informant interviews of caregivers as a research method. Informants were selected through a non-probability sampling technique specifically through a purposive-convenient sampling. Caregivers cite several of motivations for caregiving. Reasons mentioned are identified to be either intrinsic motivation or extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation being cited are emphatic reasons which include framing patient as family; emotional reasons such as emotional attachment; and cognitive reasons which refers to gaining knowledge in caregiving. Extrinsic motivations by caregivers are incentive reasons which include monetary gains; and negative reinforcements such as institutional punishments. In terms of social support received, caregivers mentioned different sources and functions of support they receive. Caregivers cite two types of social support structure or sources, proximal social support and institution based support. For social support function, responses are categorized into intangible and tangible support.

Abstract: The research design used was survey research with quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects were 100 futsal extracurricular participants in public high schools in Kediri City District. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis used was the percentage technique. From the results of the data analysis, 3 conclusions were obtained, namely: (1) Intrinsic motivation, namely 66 students, 66% were in good category (2) 50% extrinsic motivation of students is in the sufficient category. (3) The overall motivation, namely 70 students, was in the good category.   Abstrak: Rancangan penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei dengan jenis penelitian disktriptif kuantitatif. Subjek pelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang peserta ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan Kota kediri. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket skala likert. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik persentase, dari hasil analisis data diperoleh 3 kesimpulan yaitu: (1) Motivasi intrinsik yaitu 66 peserta didik 66% masuk kategori baik. (2) Motivasi ekstrinsik 50 peserta didik 50% masuk kategori cukup. (3) Motivasi keseluruhan yaitu 70 peserta didik 70% masuk kategori baik.

This study aims to find out how intrinsic and extrinsic motivation affects students of the Social Sciences Department of SMA N I Suliki District in choosing cross-interest of Science. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The research instrument is a set of questionnaire. Samples were taken with a total sampling technique, then the subjects of this study were all students of class X majoring in Social Sciences who chose cross interest of Science, amounting to 126 people, data analysis technique is a percentage technique. Based on the results of data analysis, intrinsic motivation that influences the selection of cross-student interests is as follows: based on ideals of 70.58%, based on student abilities of 69.44%, based on student conditions of 70.33%, based on interests of 66.93 %, based on the attitude of 75.06%, while extrinsic motivation that influences the selection of students' cross-interest is as follows; based on family encouragement of 62.56%, encouragement of friends 59.32%, employment opportunities of 69.57% and opportunities to continue study 61.50%. Whereas based on sub-variables, intrinsic motivation was found to influence the cross-selection of scientific interest by 70.48% (in the good category) and extrinsic motivation by 62.75% (in the good category). The purpose of this study was to describe the motivation to learn physics in class X MIA at SMAN 9 Jambi City. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population of this study were students of class X MIA at SMAN 9 Jambi City. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on students' motivation to learn physics. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the motivation to learn physics in class X MIA at SMAN 9 Jambi City on the intrinsic motivation dimension is in the high category with a percentage of 59,80% where students' attitudes are in the frequent category and the extrinsic motivation dimension is in the high category with a percentage of 61,76% where students' attitudes are in the frequent category. Conclusions, that the attitudes of respondents on the intrinsic motivation dimension include indicators of high learning activities tend to be in the occasional category, indicators of perseverance in doing assignments tend to be in the frequent category, and tenacious indicators in facing difficulties tend to be are in the frequent category. In the extrinsic motivation dimension, indicators of the presence of information from teachers tend to be in the always category, indicators of feedback tend to be in the frequent category, and indicators of reinforcement tend to be in the frequent category.  Keywords: Learning Motivation, Physics, Intrinsic and Extrinsic Method

The purpose of this research is to know about students problem solving ability between students who implemented metacognitive strategy and conventional strategy,  to know about students problem solving ability between student who have high perception, medium perception dan low perception in mathematics, and to know about interaction between of strategy and perception. This research is quasy experimental. The population of this research were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Karangreja year 2014/2015. The sample of this research were 2 class which is 63 students with cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis is used descriptive analysis dan two ways Anava or F-test. The result of this research showed that: The problem solving ability of experiment class better than control class  that is ; The problem solving ability of student who have high perception is better than medium and low perception, the problem solving ability of students who have medium perception is equal with low perception  that is , and there is no interaction between of strategy and level of perception in problem solving ability  that is .

This research is motivated by the high participation of parents in following parenting activity. This is due to the smooth program parenting program by parents. This study aims to illustrate the benefits of parenting programs by mothers who participate in parenting programs that include: childcare, childcare, parenting, and child care. This research includes quantitative descriptive research that describes the data as it is. The population numbered one hundred seventy one people and the sample amounted to fifty two people determined based on sampling technique that is random sampling technique. The data collection tool uses questionnaires and data analysis using the percentage formula. The results found that; 1) a description of the benefits of the parenting program seen from the parenting time of the parent looking good, 2) description of the benefits of the parenting program seen from the parenting material according to the parent looking good, 3) the benefits of the parenting program seen from the parenting parents who look good, 4) a picture of the benefits of parenting programs see from parenting by the parents look good. Suggestions for the motivation of parents to want to enter their children into early childhood and participate in activities held by early childhood.

This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The population is all students of class VIII even semester of SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung totaling 187 students. Sampling technique a. The technique used in this study is the cluster random sampling technique. Because the population is more than 100 people, the authors determine the sample in this study is 16% or as many as 30 students. This study aims to: (1) determine the percentage of students' abilities in solving spatial problems, (2) find out the causes of students' difficulties in solving spatial problems, (3) find out how to overcome students' difficulties in solving spatial problems. . Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded: (1) students who are able to solve spatial problems are 62.99% and those who have difficulty are 37.01%, (2) the causes of students experiencing difficulties in solving spatial problems are (1) students do not understand the concept of building space in applying it to a problem, (2) students are not careful in working on every question that exists. As for how to overcome student difficulties, namely: (1) increasing students' ability to understand the concept of building space by giving emphasis when delivering material (2) more evaluation in the form of practice questions at the end of each learning activity, (3) giving homework for finalize the material that has been presented.

Understanding the concept is a benchmark students can proceed to the next stage in the learning process. Van Hiele's thinking stage is a solution to direct students to the actual concept of geometry. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in understanding of the geometrical concepts of eighth grade students of SMPN 8 Langsa through Van Hiele thinking stages. This study used a One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign research design. With a population of all eighth grade students of SMPN 8 Langsa, the sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique, namely grade VIII1 students. The instrument uses the ability to understand the ability of geometric concepts in the form of a description consisting of 6 questions. From the results of the calculation of the percentage of students understanding the concept of geometry shows an increase of 48%. The results of data analysis obtained that count> ttable is 12.59> 2.08, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the conclusion obtained is that there is an increase in understanding of students' geometry concepts through the stages of van hiele thinking at SMPN 8 Langsa.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias dengan teknik arsir ditinjau dari komposisi, Proporsi dan gelap terang karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dengan jumlah 144 karya dan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII-A yang berjumlah 29 karya dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara rata-rata mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan total 25 Karya, sedangkan mendapatkan kategori Baik total 2 karya. Dan 2 karya siswa pada kategori Kurang. Pada hasil rekapitulasi nilai karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias indikator Komposisi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,9. Indikator Proporsi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,6. Dan indikator Gelap-terang mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 79,9. Dengan demikian kelemahan hasil karya siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara terletak pada indikator Proporsi, dan  dari 29 karya siswa yang menonjol  adalah indikator Gelap Terang. Selanjutnya nilai terttinggi pada karya siswa dengan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86 pada karya nomor 23. Sedangkan nilai terendah pada karya siswa dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 74 pada karya nomor 28.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dikatakan cukup baik, karena terdapat kelemahan penerapan indikator proporsi, namun nilai lebih pada indikator Komposisi dan Gelap Terang.Kata Kunci: hombo batu nias.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the work of drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo with shading techniques in terms of composition, proportion and darkness of the work of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara with a total of 144 works and the study sample was class VIII-A, amounting to 29 works using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The results showed that the analysis of works drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo class VIII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara on average received the category of Enough with a total of 25 works, while getting the Good category a total of 2 works. And 2 students' work in the Less category. In the recapitulation of the value of the Nias stone hombo illustration illustration, the Composition indicator gets the Fair category with an average value of 78.9. Proportion Indicators get the Fair category with an average value of 78.6. And the Dark-light indicator gets the Fair category with an average score of 79.9. Thus the weaknesses of the work of VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara are in the Proportion indicator, and of the 29 outstanding student works are Dark Light indicators. Furthermore, the highest value in the work of students by getting an average value of 86 in the work number 23. While the lowest value in the work of students with an average value of 74 in the work number 28. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the results of the Nias hombo illustration illustration works SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara is said to be quite good, because there are weaknesses in the application of the proportion indicator, but more value in the composition of the Dark and Composition indicator.
