The purpose of this study was to find and review the optimization of human resourcesquality in improving the performance of Islamic banking employees. The approach used in this study was a quantitative approach by using primary data obtained through questionnaires to the Islamic banking customers located in Lampung. Sampling technique used in this studywas purposive sampling with a sample size of 100 people. Analysis of the data used in this study was simple linear regression analysis. Based on the result, the study found that there are significant quality of human resources in improving the performance of Islamic banking at 10.3%. Therefore,it needs to do the optimization of human resources quality through various efforts such as the recruitment system, the planning and training given by the company toward the employees, improving the intelligence, creativity, perseverance, as well as the professionalism of the employees.

This study was motivated by various problems of dissatisfaction felt by the society to the less qualified service from employees in the public sector. This study aims to determine whether the competence of employees influence the quality of services in the District Integrated Administration Services (PATEN) in Kuranji Subdistrict, Padang City. This is a quantitative study. The population in this study consisted of 96,098 people with the sample of 398 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was proportional sampling technique. The data of this study were analyzed with simple linear regression analysis. The result of data analysis showed that the competence of employees had a positive and significant influence on the quality of PATENT service in Kuranji Subdistrict, Padang City with total influence of 53.7%. This showed that the higher the competence of the employees would be the higher the quality of service PATENT in the Kuranji Subdistrict.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Zakat on Community Welfare in Muara Dua Subdistrict, Lhokseumawe City. This study uses primary data. The sample in this study is 28 respondents who are selected using Census sampling technique. The data analysis method used is a simple linear regression analysis and classical assumption tests. The results of the study partially show that Zakat has a positive and significant effect on the community welfare in Muara Dua Subdistrict, Lhokseumawe City.

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of non-physical work environment on job satisfaction lecturer of the Faculty of Communication and Business at the University of Telkom Bandung. The independentvariable X of the study is non-physical work environment while the dependent variable Y is job satisfaction. The data are obtained by distributing questionnaires, sampling technique uses the saturation. The analytical method used is a simple linear regression analysis method.The research results prove that the non-physical work environment by 38.8% have influence on job satisfaction lecturer of the Faculty of Communication and Business, University of Telkom Bandung and theremaining 61.2% is influenced by other factors that are not observed in this study. In other words, there is a partial effect of non-physical work environment on permanent lecturers’ job satisfaction on the Faculty ofCommunication and Business, University of Telkom Bandung.Keywords: human resources, non-physical work environment, job satisfaction

The sample of this study is the consumer who purchases each item on Shine Holiday, PT. Sinar Duta Wisata Medan. Sampling using probability random sampling technique. Probability sampling is a sampling technique that provides the same opportunities. Data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test using determination test (R2) and partial test (t test), while data processing using SPSS program. This type of research was a descriptive associative. The populations of this research were student of FE UNP who has transacted at KOPMA UNP. The Sampling was determined by Wibisono formula with a total sample of 100 people and using accidental sampling technique. The type of data in this research was primary data. The data has been collected and then analyzed statistically with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 16.0. Hypothesis test in this research have done by using F test and t test. This study aims to analyze the influence of internal control systems, information technology, human resources and organizational commitment to the quality of the Semarang City goverment’s financial statements . This type of research is a quantitative study using primary data. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. The population in this study OPD Semarang City. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The sample of this study were 80 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) internal control system affect the quality of financial statements, (2) information technology affects he quality of financial statements, (3) human resources affect he quality of financial statements, (4) organizational commitment doesnt affect he quality of financial statements.

Some students perceive lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) positively, even though LGBT is a sexual deviation that is not appropriate with values and norms. There are several factors that influence an individual's perception of LGBT, including sexual identity. This study aims at looking at the contribution of sexual identity to student perceptions about LGBT. This research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method and a simple linear regression analysis. The sample of this research was 385 taken from 15.752 undergraduate students of Universitas Negeri Padang which the sample was drawn by using the Slovin formula and continued with a Proportional Random Sampling technique. The instrument used was the Guttman model's sexual identity scale and the scale of students' perceptions of the LGBT Likert model. After analyzing the data with the descriptive technique and the simple linear regression analysis, the results showed that sexual identity significantly contributed to the students' perceptions of LGBT. This research has implications as a basis for counselors to help students avoid sexual identity mismatches and prevent the emergence of positive perceptions of LGBT.

This research to analyze and evaluate intellectual capital on financial performance obtained by return on equity, asset turnover and growth in revenue. The population in this study are consumer goods companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The research sample was received by 21 companies obtained by using purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is simple linear regression analysis with the SPSS version 20 application and uses the VAICTM method to measure intellectual capital. The results of this study indicate that intellectual capital has a significant effect on financial performance generated by return on equity, but intellectual capital does not have a significant effect on financial performance required by asset turnover and growth in revenue.

<p><em>The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the formal knowledge of taxpayers and taxpayer awareness on compliance of vehicle taxpayers in the institution of  Samsat Polda in South Jakarta. The data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires to the Vehicle Taxpayer registered in the Office of South Jakarta Police Samsat. The populations that will be the object of research are all vehicle taxpayers registered in the Office of Samsat Polda in South Jakarta until the period of December 2016. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. This research uses linear regression analysis method. The results of the research showed that the formal knowledge of taxpayers have a significant positive effect on compliance of vehicle taxpayers. The results of this study also concluded that the formal knowledge of taxpayers, and awareness of taxpayers significantly affect the compliance of vehicle taxpayers simultaneously.</em></p>
