Abstrak. Hubungan Karakteristik Antara Rumah-Rumah Austronesia: Rumah-Rumah Tradisional di Luhak Agam, Rokan, dan Mandailing. Rumah Luhak Agam (termasuk Pasaman) yang berada di Sumatra Barat memiliki ciri khas tersendiri yang membedakan dengan Rumah Gadang Minangkabau lainnya yang berada di Luhak Tanah Datar dan Luhak Limapuluh Koto. Lokasi Luhak Agam sangat dekat dengan wilayah Rokan Hulu di Riau dan dengan wilayah Tapanuli Selatan (Mandailing-Natal) di Sumatra Utara. Sepintas, rumah adat mereka terlihat mirip, terutama pada bentuk atapnya. Sangat mungkin, di daerah ini telah terjadi sebuah proses berbagi budaya pada zaman dahulu. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengeksplorasi dan membandingkan karakteristik arsitektur antara ketiga wilayah tersebut. Bagaimana keterkaitan karakteristik rumah antara ketiga wilayah tersebut? Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang memilii maksud untuk melakukan perbandingan dan menggunakan sumber sejarah dan kebahasaan untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan yang lebih komprehensif. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat menunjukkan keterkaitan antara ketiga wilayah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat proses berbagi sifat-sifat (traits) dan pengetahuan pada karakteristik antara variasi-variasi budaya austronesia pada masing-masing rumah-rumah mereka.   Abstract. The Luhak Agam house (including Pasaman) in West Sumatra has its own characteristics that distinguished from other Minangkabau's Rumah Gadang in Luhak Tanah Datar and Luhak Limapuluh Koto. The location of Luhak Agam is very close to the Rokan Hulu area in Riau and South Tapanuli (Mandailing-Natal) in North Sumatra. At a glance, their traditional houses look similar, especially in the shape of the roof. There may have been cultural sharing in this area in ancient times. Therefore, the research tried to explore and compare their architectural characteristics. How is the linkage of the characteristics of the house? The qualitative research method compares and uses historical and linguistic sources to get a more comprehensive conclusion. So, this research can show the linkage between them. The results showed a process of traits and knowledge sharing among the Austronesian cultures variations in each of their houses.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the ornamental and symbolic forms of the Lama Gang Bengkok Mosque building, and explain the history of the Lama Gang Bengkok  Mosque which was used as a multiethnic symbol in Medan City. The method used is a qualitative research method and described descriptively. The theory used in this study is the semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Peirce. Data was obtained through observation and interview techniques with several informants and people around. The results showed that this building became one of the multiethnic symbols of harmony between religious and cultured people from ancient times to the present, and can be seen from the form and symbolism of the Lama Gang Bengkok Mosque building, such as the forms and symbols of Malay, Chinese and Persian culture.Keywords: Lama Gang Bengkok mosque; Ornaments; symbolis; Multi-Language; Medan City.

This study aims to examine the cultural links in a local area with mathematical concepts or commonly known as ethnomathematics. This ethnomathematical research raises the topic of discussion about a "Nasi Face-to-face" procession at weddings in the traditional Malay culture of Batubara, North Sumatra. This research will explore what mathematical aspects are contained in a regional culture of the Batubara Malay tribe, especially the “Nasi Face-to-face” procession. Descriptive qualitative research method with ethnographic approach is used in this study. The results showed that in the procession of "Nasi Facing-front" found various mathematical concepts related, namely sets, functions, geometry of flat shapes, and geometry of geometric shapes. With this research, it is hoped that it can be used as a unique medium for learning mathematics as well as getting to know the local culture that is applied in learning mathematics in schools.

Understanding the Miracles of the Qur'an from the Perspective of Tasyri', Mafaatihul Ghaib, and ScienceThis article aims to examine the miracles of the Qur'an in terms of tasyri’, Mafaatihul Ghaib, and science. In this article, researchers use qualitative research method (library research) which focuses on the study of miracle materials of al-Kariim Qur'an. As for the Qur'an in conveying laws that are taklifi  (loading) is special, by explaining the benefits, prohibitions, orders, madhorotnya, silence, prohibition and all aspects of the law. Then the miracle on the aspect of Mafaatihul Ghaib that the Qur'an contains some occult events that have been and will occur since ancient times until the future that can not be received only with human mind. While the miracle in the aspects of science in the Qur'an is explained about the process of the occurrence of the heavens and the earth, the elements of compounds, and also the function of the creation of mountains for the balance of the earth. Among them are the miracles described in the Qur'an, and of course there are many more aspects that become discussions about the miracles of the Qur'an

Terrorism is a problem that requires special handling, one of which is by fostering deradicalization. In Indonesia according to data obtained that de-radicalization is considered unsuccessful because there are still many terrorists who dare to commit acts of terrorism even though many other terrorists have been arrested. One of the indications is like the North Sumatra Poltabes office bombing incident in November 2019 where the Police arrested 74 suspected terrorists involved in the suicide bombing. This study aims to determine the various activities carried out for deradicalisation guidance and to see the achievements of deradicalization coaching .The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method with literature study approach. The results show that various activities have been carried out by the government one of them is create BNPT a special institution to manage and implement deradicalization of terorrism prisoners through soft approach to deradicalize terrorist prisoners by reshaping their thinking about the struggle against religion. The conclusion is that the development of deradicalization of terrorist prisoners in Indonesia has been carried out by various parties, but based on the results of this study and previous research is still not optimal so it needs to be reviewed about the type or method of fostering deradicalization that is appropriate.

Judul penelitian ini adalah‘Masjid Lama Gang Bengkok Sebagai Simbol Multietnis di Kota Medan’. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meganalisis bentuk ornamen dan simbolis pada bangunan Masjid Lama Gang Bengkok, serta menjelaskan sejarah Masjid Lama Gang Bengkok yang dijadikan sebagai simbol multietnis di Kota Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dan diuraikan secara deskripstif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori semiotik dari Charles Sanders Peirce. Data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara dengan beberapa informan dan orang sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bangunan ini menjadi salah satu simbol multietnis atas kerukunan antar umat beragama dan berbudaya dari zaman dahulu hingga saat ini, dan dapat dilihat dari bentuk dan simbolis pada bangunan Masjid Lama Gang Bengkok, Seperti bentuk dan simbol kebudayaan Melayu, China, dan Persia.   The title of this research is ‘Lama Gang Bengkok Mosque As A Multiethnic Symbol In The City Of Medan’. Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul “Perilaku Knowledge Sharing (Berbagi Pengetahuan) pada Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Islam (UKMI) AL-Fatah Universitas Lancang Kuning”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk menganalisa bagaimana perilaku knowledge sharing (berbagi pengetahuan) pada Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Islam (UKMI) AL-Fatah Universitas Lancang Kuning dan perubahan apa yang dialami setelah mengikuti kegiatan halaqah dan belajar bahasa Arab. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah dalam kegiatan halaqah dan belajar bahasa Arab yaitu dalam kegiatan halaqah, yang sering menjadi pemberi pengetahuan adalah anggota keputrian UKMI AL-Fatah yang sudah tinggi kajian islamnya yaitu sekitar 75 %, sedangkan untuk penerima pengetahuan lebih sering anggota keputrian UKMI AL-Fatah yang baru bergabung yaitu 25 %. Sedangkan dalam kegiatan belajar bahasa Arab seperti proses pembelajaran, yang lebih sering membagikan pengetahuan yaitu musrifah (guru), sedangkan anggota keputrian UKMI AL-Fatah lebih sering membagikan pengetahuan yang mereka dapatkan kepada teman, serta anggota keputrian UKMI AL-Fatah yang baru bergabung. Perubahan yang dialami setelah mengikuti kegiatan halaqah adalah 40 % perubahan dalam berpakaian yaitu memakai rok, dan 60 % perubahan dalam hal berpakaian juga dan sholat lima waktu tidak ditinggalakan lagi sedangkan dalam kegiatan belajar bahasa Arab perubahan yang di alami tidak begitu terlihat, karena penerima belum menerapkan dalam keseharian materi yang didapat dari pemberi.   Kata Kunci: Perilaku, berbagi pengetahuan, UKMI AL-Fatah   Abstract The title of the research is "Behavior Knowledge Sharing (Sharing Knowledge) at Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Islam (UKMI) AL-Fatah University of Lancang Kuning". The purpose of this study is to analyze how the behavior of knowledge sharing in Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Islam (UKMI) AL-Fatah University Lancang Kuning and what changes experienced after following Halaqah activities and learn Arabic. The method in this study uses descriptive qualitative research method. The results of this study are in Halaqah activities and learning Arabic which informants giver of knowledge exchange knowledge and experience, while the receptor knowledge but to accept the knowledge of the generator knowledge, they also share the acquired knowledge to others, especially family, relatives, and close friends recipients of knowledge, so that knowledge on to the recipient can not just knowledge alone but shared with others as well. Changes experienced after following Halaqah activity is 40% change in the dress is wearing a skirt, and a 60% change in dress as well, and no abandoned sholat longer while the Arabic learning in the natural changes that are not so noticeable, because the recipient has not implemented in everyday materials obtained from the generator.   Keywords: Behavior, Knowledge Sharing, UKMI AL-Fatah.

Timorese culture is patriarchal in that men are more dominant than women. As if women were not considered in traditional rituals so that an understanding was built that valued women lower than men. However, in contrast to the article to be studied, this would like to see the priority of women’s roles in traditional marriages in Belle village, South Central Timor. The role of women wiil be seen from giving awards to their parents called puah mnasi manu mnasi. This paper aims to look at the meaning of the rituals of puah mnasi maun mnasi and the role and strengths that women have in traditional marriage rituals in the village of Belle, South Central Timor. The method used for this research is a qualitative research method using interview techniques with a number of people in the Belle Villa community and literature study to strengthen this writing. Based on the data obtained this paper shows that the adat rituals of puah mnasi manu mnasi provide a value that can be learned, namely respect for women, togetherness between the two families, and brotherhood that is intertwined due to customary marital affrairs.

The purpose of applying education to instill tolerance in society is to form citizens who can realize a common civilization in the life of nation and state, and able to create Indonesian people as a whole. Education is one way to instill tolerant. As for efforts education to instill tolerant attitude in society through: 1) multicultural education and character; 2) education with national insight; and 3) professional education management. The method used in this writing is a qualitative research method descriptive library studi. Expected with education so the community can respect the diversity and eliminate suspicion and discrimination so that the creation of a tolerant society.

AbstractTeacher self-efficacy has been abundantly studied. However, it seems that the consequences of teachers’ self-efficacy have not been appropriately explored yet. The research objective was to investigate the consequences of teachers’ teaching self-efficacy. The researchers used a qualitative research method. They collected the data through semi-structured interviews with 20 EFL teachers who were selected through purposive sampling. The interviews were content analyzed thematically. Findings showed that self-efficacy has different consequences: pedagogical, learner-related, and psychological. Each consequence has several sub-categories. It is concluded that high self-efficacy affects teachers’ teaching practices, learners’ motivation, and achievement. It also affects teachers’ burn-out status, psychological being, as well as their job satisfaction. The findings can be theoretically and pedagogically important to EFL teachers, teacher-trainers, and administrators of educational settings.

Education in the 21 century requires educators to be more creative, but there are still many educators who use monotonous learning methods so that students tend to get bored and ignore learning. Purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of multiple intelligence learning methods when applied in learning Akidah Akhlak. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenemonological approach. The phenemonological approach used is the Schutz approach. Data analysis is an inductive analysis. The subjects that became the focus of this study were the Akidah Akhlak education teachers, seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah one Jember. The results of the research of the Multiple Intelligences method are effective in learning because it can provide learning motivation to students and are able to hone the intelligence of each student.
