In the era of globalization, the tourism sector is one of the largest and most influential industries in economic development in general. In the 21st century, the tourism sector will be the primary driver in the world economy. In tourism, there are elements contained in it, ranging from tourists, travel, tourist destinations, industry, and so forth. Tourism for foreign exchange sources, including Indonesia, which is one of the countries that have various types of tourism, namely natural tourism, social tourism, and cultural tourism spread from Sabang to Merauke. One of the regions in Indonesia where multiple types of natural wealth have the potential to be developed is Sungai Penuh City, located in the western area in the form of a plateau. The most popular highland tourist destination in Sungai Penuh City is Bukit Khayangan. Departing from the above, the author intends to develop these problems and raise them into an article that illustrates and discusses supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the development of the Bukit Khayangan attraction, Sungai Penuh City. Then the development of attractions in Bukit Khayangan, Sungai Penuh City city, as well as the contribution of Bukit Kayangan Kota Sungai Penuh attraction.  AbstractThe continuous rapidly growth of tourism sector with the tight competition in the field of tourismmakes not all tourist destinations in the world always experience an increase in the number of tourist visits each year. Banjarmasin City, dubbed the “Kota Seribu Sungai” or "City of Thousand Rivers" and is known as the Thousand Rivers tourist destination has experiencedfluctuate number of tourist arrivals and tend to decline. The fluctuate number of tourist arrivalssourced from tourist visiting decisions can be influenced by various factors, including tourism destination productsand image. This study aims to see the effects of tourism destination products consisting of physical products, people, packages, and programsalsothe image of tourism destinations consisting of cognitive image and affective image on tourists visiting decision to the city of Thousand River Banjarmasin. The data obtained were taken by questionnaire to 123 tourists by accidental sampling. The results of the research were analyzed using multiple linear regression with two equations, namely (I) The influence of tourism destination products on tourist visiting decision and (II) The impact of tourism destination image on tourist visiting decision. The resultsfound the positive influence of tourism destination products to thetourist visiting decision of 54.5% and the image of tourism destination on the tourist visiting decision of 53.4% and the rest of 45.5% and 46.6% influenced by other factors not examined. The results of the analysis also showed the effect of tourism destination products variable partially consisting of physical products, packages, and programs have an effect on the decision of tourists while people have no influence. As for the variable image of tourism destinations in partial consisting of cognitive image and affective image affect the decision of tourists visiting to Kota Seribu Sungai Banjarmasin.

The pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) has significantly affected the tourism industry. Tourist destinations have adopted emergency measures and restrictions that have affected the mobility of individuals around the world. Beaches and resorts were empty, cities were deserted, people’s movements were stopped, and travel among different territories was strictly controlled. COVID-19-caused quarantine around the world has harmed people’s livelihoods and the world economy. This study aims to analyze the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism industry and overall economic performance. Based on the research results and exploratory research of the literature, we listed in a synthesizing manner several measures to ensure the resilience of the tourism sector during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

Branding of territories is growing rapidly as an approach used in the tourism sector to promote a tourist destination. The concept of branding was borrowed from the world of the mass market and is actively used in a number of national tourist destinations, however, at this stage of its development, an academic analysis of the value and effectiveness of the use of branding of territories is still not fully carried out. First of all, the role of branding in regional tourist territories is not investigated, where brand personalization is extremely important given the geographical proximity of their location.

This research aims to identify, describe and find out the impact of the development of cultural tourism on the community in Marbun Toruan Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The problem focuse on the potential of cultural tourism in the village of Marbun Toruan and its development in order to approach this problem requires a theoretical reference from some previous researchers. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data is collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. This study conclude that the Baktiraja district which has the potential for cultural tourism such as Tombak Sulu Sulu, Sisingamangaraja Palace, Batu Si siungkap ungkapon, Aek Sipangolu, Hariara Tungkot, Batu Hundul. The Humbang Hasundutan Regency Government gives responsibility to the Department of Transportation and Tourism to develop the tourism potential in tourist attraction of Baktiraja. This tourism object does not receive serious attention to be developed as a tourist destination so it is not inferior to other tourist destinations in North Sumatra that have been developed.

The sector developed in Indonesia at this time is the tourism sector. The purpose of this study is to find out how the development of attractions, supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate strategies in the development of tourism objects in Rejang Lebong Regency. This research uses descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data in this study were collected through interviews, documentation, observation and data triangulation. The analysis technique used in writing uses the SWOT analysis and Litmust Test to be reduced, presented and concluded. The results of research strategies for developing tourism objects in Rejang Lebong Regency are still not maximal, because there are many weaknesses in each component in the tourism area which become a benchmark for the development of Bengkulu Province tourist destinations, Rejang Lebong. The influencing factors are internal factors, namely strengths and weaknesses and external factors, namely opportunities and threats. Based on these factors, researchers can reformulate the strategy in the development of attractions in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province

Tourism is very necessary to continue to be developed to improve the economy in Indonesia and increase the position of the country geographically, which is very strategic for tourism and the world economy. For this reason, the ability to communicate in English is absolutely necessary, in order to compete with workers from other countries, so that they can contribute to the improvement of the national economy. The ability to communicate in English is a strategic sector in the development of highly competitive human resources in the tourism industry sector and in the global economic community. By having good English communication skills, it will be easier to grab market share in the tourism industry sector and the economic sector. The tourism sector as one of the prime industrial development is developed in order to further increase the rate of national development. For this reason, it is necessary that the government continues to increase its resilience, policies, and increase the development of tourism with a view to further developing the community's economy and increasing the ability to speak English so that human resources are able to compete in various tourism industries so that the economy will increase.

The tourism sector has continued to be one of the most affected business units in 2020 in connection with a global pandemic. Numerous regions and tourist destinations, tourist hotspots and accommodations have been subjected to serious changes with a substantial economic impact. Thereby, the question arises as to whether the capacity to respond to customers' needs through functional digital engagement strategies is efficient for supporting a recovery and sustainable development of the tourism industry. This article comments on and provides a critical analysis of the recent online strategies related to content marketing applied to the tourism sector due to a global pandemic and the need to implement a different attitude towards tourismoriented projects. The article proposes some examples of efficient policies that fit in with changes in the world tourism market.

In  this  research  aims  to the  pattern  of  tourists’ visit on  tourists  attraction in  the  area of Sarbagita.  This  reseach was carried out to find out the movement of tourists in visiting one to other tourist destinations which existed in the area of Sarbagita. This research was through several stages, namely: identification of characteristic of tourists who were visiting Sarbagita area and how about the pattern type of their visit. Next it was studying how the path of tourists’ movement who were visiting tourist attractions existed in Sarbagita area. Data collection technique was using observation, interview,  distribution  of 100 questionnaires, literature study and documentation. Informant determination technique was  using  accidental  sampling. The  result  of  research  showed  that  tourists who were visiting various tourist destinations existed in Sarbagita area with the highest number of visits was in tourist attraction of Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, Kuta Beach, Sanur Beach, Bedugul, Ceking Rice Terrace and Pandawa Beach. The pattern of tourists’ visit who were visiting Sarbagita area had 4 types of visits, namely the first wasm “Single  Destination With  or Without  side  Trips” , the second was  “Transit  Leg  and Circle  Tour  at a  Destination” ,  the  third  was “Circle  Tour  With  or Without  Multiple  Access ,  Egress  Points ;  Different  Itinerary  Styles  Possible  at   Different  Destination  Areas”, and the fourth was “Hub and Spoke Style”. Indonesia is a big country consisting of various tribes and has different cultures from one to another. From this came the idea to create a tourist site with a cultural background. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is a tourist attraction established since 1975, an attraction with the theme of Indonesian culture. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is still a tourist destination that has been chosen by many families. Likewise, schools that still do a lot of tourist visits for study tours Visitors to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah are still the second most in Jakarta. With the development of tourism, the concept of tourism for all it becomes an absolute necessity. Because throughout the world there is also a very significant increase in the number of tourists, and ten percent have special needs including elderly people, tourists with small children, pregnant women, tourists with permanent and temporary disabilities. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out to what extent Taman Mini Indonesia Indah has implemented accessibility in tourism in accordance with standards set by the UNWTO. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where data is obtained through field research, documentation, checklists and literature studies. The results of the study are found that vertical movements still need to be improved because visitors using a wheelchair cannot enjoy all the regional platforms. And the suggestion from the research is to continue to improve the facilities so that everyone can access them by adding braille letters to the brochure and adding audio announcements to every tourist attraction.
