This study discusses about Gili Indah village which has a sampang sandro ritual. lately this ritual is almost extinct because the activity as a salt farmer did not ensure in society's economy, so they switch to other professions. Those switching profession indirectly causes the loss of unique ritual of that. Local government are trying to revitalize sampang sandro ritual to used as an alternative tourist attraction. Based on the background study above, this study focus on (1) How are the revitalization of sampang sandro ritual in Gili Indah village? (2) How the implication of revitalization of sampang sandro ritual for society in Gili Indah village?. Furthermore, the method of data collection in this study are observation, interview, and documentation method. The data were analysed in qualitative with functionalism and the change of social theories. The results of this study were showed that sampang sandro ritual was done in festival ritual of sampang sandro. First step is competition of gangsing (mangkeq), kasti ball, pantok cret, dayung kano, and photography. Sampang Sandro is point event with some procession such pray, chicken release, take salt in the swamp, lunch together then cleaning up. The implication of revitalization of sampang sandro ritual are the maintenance of local tradition and preservation of social solidarity. Then, the implication in ecology field is preservation of ecosystem sustainability. The implication in economy field is the increased of treasury village, and implication tourism field is the increased of tourist attractions in Gili Indah village.

This study aims to identify local wisdom in Green Village Gedangsari, Gunungkidul Regency. This research uses qualitative method with combined data collection technique, there are observation, interview, and documentation. Some invention that have been identified as the findings of this research are (1) Tourism development in Green Village Gedangsari; (2) Some of the taboos that local people believe; (3) Local culinary; (4) The place of the sacred; (5) Nyadran and Rosulan Traditions; and (6) 4G development plan by Gedangsari community. This research project is being studied at kutai kartanegara district by tourist attraction kumala island. The purpose of writing this essay is to identify and describe the management of tourism services in kumala district kutai kartandistrict and also to identify the obstacles -- obstacles which the tourism service deals with in kumala island tourist management in kab. Kutai Kartanegara. The focus of the study in this study is of attraction, ability, facilities and obstacles faced by the tourism service in the management of kumala island tourist attractions at kab. Kutai Kartanegara.The kind of research used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are done in literature and field research consisting of observations, interviews, and documentaries, whereas the informants who were taken purposive sampling and accidental sampling.Studies show that the tourism service has achieved management according to its duties and functions in managing the tourist attractions of island kumala, this is indicated by implementation of the 3 (3) indicators taken from its service one area of the tourism service that they are partly accomplishing, But they have constraints that are, in fact, the lack of budget that's keeping them in the sense that their management is somehow hampered and not maximum.

The study aims to determine Development Strategy the potency of the Tunda Island as a tourist attraction in the Serang Regency, Banten Province. How the development of appropriate strategy to overcome obstacles in the development of Tunda Island Coast region as a Marine Tourism attraction in Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study was conducted to determine the Tunda Island as a marine tourism destination Serang Regency were reviewed by using SWOT analysis. This study uses quialitative research methods with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research carried out that Pulau Tunda as a marine tourism attraction in Serang Regency has the power in the form of underwater natural potential that is different from other islands in Serang Regency, besides Tunda Island has a considerable opportunity for increasing tourism needs and locations that tend to strategic. However, Pulau Tunda has weaknesses in the quality of human resources as well as low tourism support facilities and garbage that has not been managed properly. Meanwhile the threat faced by Tunda Island is currently the operation of sand miners and the lack of attention from the local government.   Keywords: Development Strategy, Tunda Island, Marine Tourism


East Nusa Tenggara Province surrounded by many potentials nature-based attractions, one of them is Mulut Seribu beach, in the Rote Ndao Regency. This beach is one of seven priority tourist attractions by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. Local Government initiation is welcomed by the local community and this research aims to create a strategy to develop the Mulut Seribu beach attraction with marine-based tourism to support sustainability. The research type is using descriptive qualitative, with interviewing stakeholders from five key informants living around the tourist attraction namely government representatives, tourists, and the local community. The results showed that according to SWOT analysis Mulut Seribu Beach is among Curve 1, which means the development of this destination still aggressive to be developed with a concentration of development in SO, namely strength and opportunity. This result is shown by the Mulut Seribu festival as a form of coordination between community and government participation in developing marine tourism in Mulut Seribu Beach. <p class="Abstract"><em>Brumbun hot springs which located in Lamongan regency has the potential of hot springs that emerge from the bowels of the earth so it will never be running out. The lack of attention from the government and communities make the condition of the tourist attractions of Brumbun hot springs becomes inaccessible and might causes damage for it’s existing and natural facilities. Besides, the lack of activities variant also makes less visitors. With the support of the regency government through spatial and regional plans, it is designed a development of natural attractions in order to improve the existence of a tourist attraction and the optimization of Brumbun’s natural potential. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with case study through stages of idea exploration, data collection through observation, interview, and ecological architecture literature, then through analysis phase with precedent study and supporting data consisting of physical condition of tourist object and government regulations related to tourism object development. The result of the analysis is in the form of four applied elements of wind as an ecological architectural aspect of the building, ie roof pond with open pond system, nako rooster, vertical garden with structural media, and cross ventilation.</em></p><p class="Abstract"><em><br /></em></p>

This study examines how the process of inventory activities carried out by the Department of Tourism. The purpose of this study is to find out how the tourism inventory process is carried out by the Department of Tourism and what tourism is contained in Ngebel District. Inventory is an activity carried out to collect data, record and report the results of data collection of state property. The data collection process is carried out by interviewing the Department of Tourism, Local Government and Tourism Managers. The material obtained from interviews was then analyzed and concluded. It can be concluded that many tourism potentials are owned by Ngebel District and the Tourism Office has a standard that is to have a tourist attraction, has adequate facilities and infrastructure, the existence of culinary tourism in these objects. Inventory of tourism potential activities carried out by the Department of Tourism in each field through various stages.

The tourism trend in which culinary tourism is one of the favorite tourist attractions that is favored provides opportunities for areas that have distinctive culinary delights, Pesisir Selatan is one of the areas that has traditional culinary specialties which if developed will become one of the tourist attractions. This study aims to see whether the culinary specialties of Pesisir Selatan Rendang Lokan has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using Damanik and Weber's theory of uniqueness, originality, authenticity and diversity and is supported by Yoeti's theory of tourist attraction, namely having something to see, something to do and something to buy. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation. The results showed that Rendang Lokan has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction. This can be seen from the uniqueness of its taste, its originality and consistency in the use of the same ingredients that has not changed since the past, its authenticity in the traditional manufacturing process, and its diversity on its flavors. As a tourist attraction, Rendang Lokan also meets the criteria of "Something to be seen" which is the process of making and processing ingredients and spices. It also has "Something to do" which is being able to involve tourists to join in cooking Rendang Lokan, and also "Something to buy" which acts as a souvenir.

Tourist attraction is a destination place for recreation on weekends or holidays. One of tourist attractions in Bandung is Kampung Batu Malaksari as a case of this study. With the theme 'Education Tourism', visitors are expected to enjoy the beauty of nature as well as get the knowledge. However, visitors cannot recognize the visual identity of the tourist attraction because it is not aligned with the theme. Moreover, the lack of signage that provides information in text and visual presentation of directions to the place, directory map, prohibitory, and warning that makes visitors confused and often lost to the tourist area. Therefore, the visual identity and its application to signage is considered necessary. Data collection methods used were observations, interviews and questionnaires using matrix analysis as a method of analysis. The purpose of this study is expected to create a strong visual identity that shows educational tourism as well as informative signage. This case study is expected to improve the visual appeal inherent in the visitor's mind. Keywords: educational tourism; signage; visual identity

Colonial period in Indonesia bequeathed a number of buildings such as schools, bank and offices. The buildings have nuance of Dutch architecture, therefore becoming cultural heritages and tourist attractions. The Aim of this research is to find out the historical buildings utilization in Makassar city, South Sulawesi Province, however in this research selected three bulidings which developed as heritage tourism, namely Fort Rotterdam, Museum Kota dan Gedung Kesenian Makassar. The three historical buildings selected as research location because of the physical potency is building architecture which completed with non physical potency is historical and cultural value. This research applied tourist attraction management, tourism area life cycle by Butler and tourism marketing theory to find out evolution life cycle of each buildings then arrange the effective strategy to develop Fort Rotterdam, Museum Kota and Gedung Kesenian as heritage tourism in Makassar city.The article argues that the utilization of Fort Rotterdam as a tourist attraction is classified into development phase. Fort Rotterdam has been renovated several times by developing La Galigo Museum inside to increase the attractiveness. Local government has also a lot of promotions. Museum Kota and Gedung Kesenian Makassar are classified into exploration phase since the two historical buildings need physical improvement, structuring showroom and facilities to handle collections of Museum Kota and the assurance of building management and maintenance of Gedung Kesenian. Based on the result of the research Fort Rotterdam, Museum Kota dan Gedung Kesenian Makassar do not only have physical potency of building and historical value but also to become interesting tourist attraction which need improvement by maintaining architecture identity as much as possible, providing supporting facilities needed by tourists and increasing promotion by local government.

As one of the natural tourist attractions that continues to experience an increase in tourist visits, Oetune Beach requires planned management from various stakeholders, one of which is the local government. The purpose of this research is to describe the government role in the management of Oetune Beach in Tuafanu Village. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach and data were obtained from field observations, interviews, documentation, and literature studies on Oetune Beach from various available sources. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the role of the local government (TTS tourism office) in managing the tourist attraction of Oetune Beach which runs through 4 roles, namely the role of coordinator, developing strategies and policies for managing Oetune Beach in making infrastructures such as access roads to tourist attractions, provision of electricity, and clean water in the oetune beach area. The role of the facilitator is by providing facilities and infrastructure at the Oetune Beach DTW, conducting tourism promotions and guiding each sub-district to identify tourist attractions in each region. The role of the stimulator is carried out through the involvement of local communities as coastal managers. The role of a motivator is carried out through a community empowerment program that provides land to open the tourist attraction of Oetune Beach at no cost to local communities
