В условиях распространения технологий и инноваций четвёртой промышленной революции вопросы формирования цифровой экономики в России приобретают важное значение. Оно определяется в том числе необходимостью повышения геоэкономической конкурентоспособности страны на мировых рынках. Поэтому в статье предпринята попытка переосмысления базовых положений геоэкономики в контексте усиления глобальной конкуренции и вызванного им стремлением развитых государств к инновационному перепозиционированию на основе развития цифрового потенциала. Рассматривая существующие подходы к оценке воздействия цифровой революции на глобальные процессы, автор выделяет геоэкономиче-ские особенности современного этапа глобализации как глобализации 4.0. Данный период глобализации связан с цифровизацией и цифровой трансформацией экономики и общества и имеет национальную, региональную, отраслевую и профессиональную специфику. Анализ геоэкономических вызовов цифровизации России на национальном и макрорегиональном уровне постсоветского пространства показывает сохранение страной статуса геоэкономического полюса силы. Угрозы и риски цифрового отставания РФ рассмотрены на основе данных докладов Всемирного банка «Конкуренция в цифровую эпоху: стратегические вызовы для России» и Евразийского банка развития – доклад «Цифровой потенциал стран – участниц ЕАБР». Это позволило сделать вывод, что для укрепления положения геоэкономического лидера в макрорегионе и повышения геоэкономической конкурентоспо-собности на глобальной арене РФ необходимо преодолеть противоречие между темпами цифровизации как процесса внедрения цифровых инноваций и уровнем и глубиной цифровой трансформации, обусловленной изменением образа мышления и деятельности всех субъектов цифрового общества. Данное противоречие носит характер ключевой проблемы для страны и может быть преодолено на основе реализации программ развития информационной компе-тентности населения России всех возрастов с принятием во внимание отраслевой и профессиональной специфики в регионах страны. In the context оf technological progress and innovations of the fourth industrial revolution, the issues of forming the digital economy in Russia are becoming im-portant being also determined by the need to improve the country's geoeconomic competitiveness in world markets. Therefore, the article attempts to rethink the basic principles of geoeconomics in the context of increased global competition and the striving of developed countries for innovative re-positioning based on the development of digital potential. The author considers the existing approaches to assessing the impact of the digital revolution on global processes and highlights the geoeconomic features of the modern stage of globalization as globalization 4.0. This period of globalization is associated with digitalization and the digital transformation of the economy and society and has national, regional, sectoral and professional characteristics. Analysis of the geoeconomic challenges of Russian digitalization at the national and macro-regional levels of the post-Soviet space shows that the country has retained the status of a geoeconomic pole of power. The threats and risks of Russia's digital lag are based on the data from the World Bank's "Competition in the Digital Age: Strategic Challenges for Russia" and the Eurasian Development Bank report “Digital Potential of EABR Member Countries”. This allowed us to conclude that in order to strengthen the position of the geoeconomic leader in the macroregion and increase geoeconomic competitiveness in the global arena of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to overcome the contradiction between the pace of digitalization as a process of introducing digital innovations and the level and depth of digital transformation due to a change in the way of thinking and activity of all subjects of the digital society. This contradiction is a key problem for the country and can be overcome through implementing the programs of developing informational competence of the Russian population of all ages, taking into account the industry and professional specifics in the country's regions.

In its scale, degree, and unpredictability, the change will be not normal for anything mankind has encountered previously. We don't yet know exactly how it will unfurl, however one thing is clear: the reaction to it should be incorporated and exhaustive, including all partners of the worldwide nation, from the general population and private segments to the scholarly community and common society. It is The Fourth Industrial Revolution, the digital revolution. The digital revolution has opened way for many impacts. All of the emirates are experiencing the effects of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.” This revolution reflects the velocity, scope, and systems impact of a digital transformation that is changing economies, jobs, and work as it is currently known. Characteristics of the revolution include a fusion of technologies across the physical, digital, and biological spheres.

The current phenomenon of the economy-accelerated digitalization, known as the “Industry 4.0”, will generate both an increased productivity, connectivity and several transformations on the labor force skills. Our research objectives are to determine the influence that digitalization has had on the workforce in several developed countries and to propose a new composite indicator that reflects these dynamics over time. We have used the Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) in order to identify and analyze the correlations between two sets of variables, an independent one and a dependent one. Data were collected from the World Bank and World Economic Forum for the years 2018–2019. Based on the results of our research we have determined and made a consistent analysis of the new composite index of digitalization and labor force in 19 countries. The results of our research are relevant and show not only the impact of digitalization on the labor force in different countries, but also the structural changes required by the new economic and social models. Our research can help decision-makers get in advance the necessary measures in the field of labor force in order to ensure a proper integration of these measures into the new economic model based on digitalization.

Industry 4.0 is the essence of the fourth Industrial revolution and is happening right now in manufacturing by using cyber-physical systems (CPS) to reach high levels of automation. Industry 4.0 is especially beneficial in highly developed countries in terms of competitive advantage, but causes unemployment because of high levels of automation. The aim of this paper is to find out if the impact of adopting Industry 4.0 on the labor markets of Iran and Japan would be the same, and to make analysis to find out whether this change is possible for Iran and Japan with their current infrastructures, economy, and policies. With the present situation of Iran in science, technology, and economy, it will be years before Iran could, or better say should, implement Industry 4.0. Japan is able to adopt Industry 4.0 much earlier than Iran and with less challenges ahead; this does not mean that the Japanese labor market would not be affected by this change but it means that those effects would not cause as many difficulties as they would for Iran.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact of digital transformation on jobs and to assess whether or not the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution will lead to mass redundancies. The piece also looks at the role human resources (HR) departments will have to play in the implementation of, and response to, digital transformation within the workplace. Design/methodology/approach This paper combines research based on media articles, a parliamentary report and wider digital transformation industry research. The author looks to explain what digital transformation is, deconstruct misconceptions around digital transformation, assess the true evidence-based impact of digital transformation on jobs and advise HR departments on the impact of digital transformation within the workplace. Findings This piece finds that there remains a considerable degree of misunderstanding and many misconceptions around digital transformation and that while digital transformation will lead to the loss of some jobs, it will also lead to the change of existing ones and creation of new ones. Furthermore, this piece finds that HR departments will play a crucial role in the implementation of digital transformation, but that they too will need to pivot and adjust to new workplace realities as a result. Originality/value Many HR departments face confusion and misconceptions around the impact of digital transformation on the workforce, and there also remains concern among many employers that technology will replace their jobs. This piece seeks to dispel the myths and paint a clearer picture to both HR departments and employees around the impact of digital transformation.

Digital transformation is the core value of the 4th industrial revolution or Industry 4.0. Although the efforts are focused on utilization and usage of technologies like artificial intelligence, internet of things, cloud computing, and many other technologies. We should focus in parallel on regulating the technologies to provide the proper road map and put the proper regulatory frameworks to remove uncertainties in development, investment, or implementation of technologies. Regulatory effectiveness is very important in saving time and rolling out technologies. In one initiative, regulatory technology (RegTech) will utilize the technology to enhance the regulatory process in financial sector; Regulation 4.0 is another; however, plenty of work is still ahead. Some regulators are keen to facilitate the emerging technologies and to see the consequences immediately, thus they use sandbox thinking in evaluating the impact at a small scale. In summary, this chapter will highlight the different practices and methodologies to regulate the digital transformation in the best way.

The fourth industrial revolution leads to a comprehensive digital transformation of enterprises. Its nine pillars also affect the construction industry. This article presents the impact of digital transformation on innovative projects which are implemented in the construction industry. It describes examples of digital innovations that are used in the life cycle of a property development undertaking, as well as examples and case studies of applied innovative project management models.


The boom in the information technology (IT) has drastically changed the life style of people today. The electronic commerce plays a vital role in digital revolution by transforming the Indian consumer’s buying behaviour, and the usage of smart phones, internet, etc., have radically increased among the Indian consumers. The IT revolution has brought a profound renovation in healthcare services too. The huge health information on internet and various healthcare apps available in market have led to the emergence of Electronic Healthcare Services (e-healthcare services). In most of the developed countries people use e-healthcare services to retrieve any kind of information regarding health. This mainly saves the time and energy of the people. The information with regards to health can be obtained from open sources, healthcare apps such as diet apps, fitness apps etc. Moreover, the mobile health apps such as Practo, Docsapp etc., do provide anytime assistance to the users. Today, due to rapid increase in IT usage for healthcare services by the consumers, it is quite essential to the measure the impact of health information provided by websites and apps to their users. The e-healthcare can be viewed as the future of healthcare which is focused on providing quick, better and affordable services to the customers. Therefore, this study attempts to examine the behavioural intention to use and actual usage of the e-healthcare services. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed among the student community in Manipal, Karnataka, and at most 267 students participated in the survey. This study provides an understanding to the researchers aiming at identifying the factors determining the behavioural intention to use e-healthcare services and actual usage. Further, the study brings out the first order dimensions to measure the second order dimension of perceived value of e-healthcare services

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo describir el proceso de transformación digital en una oficina de servicios en una Institución de Educación Superior Pública en México, para ello se realizó un análisis de la revisión de la literatura relacionada con los conceptos: transformación digital y servicios públicos. A partir de los resultados del análisis de la literatura se identificaron las dimensiones que posibilitan la transformación digital en organizaciones del sector público. Posteriormente, en el caso de estudio se describen los principales servicios que migraron a formatos digitales y que dio origen a una ventanilla virtual de servicios de la institución, el modelo bajo el cual se desarrolló, el impacto generado en los usuarios. El trabajo utilizó una metodología cualitativa que permitió identificar las dimensiones que componen un modelo de transformación digital en instituciones del sector público y cuya viabilidad deberá ser corroborada a través de estudios con mayor profundidad y rigor metodológico.   The present work aims to describe the digital transformation process in a service office in a Public Higher Education Institution in Mexico, for which an analysis of the literature review related to the topics of the fourth industrial revolution, digital transformation and public services. From the result of the analysis of the literature, the dimensions that enable digital transformation in public service organizations were identified. Later, in the case study, the main services that migrated to digital formats and that gave rise to the institution's virtual service window, the model under which it was developed, the impact generated on users are reported. The work was developed under a qualitative methodology that allowed identifying the dimensions that make up a digital transformation model in public sector institutions and whose viability should be corroborated through studies with greater depth and methodological rigor.

The interest and surge of usage of Fintech applications (Digital applications related to Finance/Payments/Banking/Ecommerce) carries in preserving people’s livelihoods and businesses that have been, and continue to be, threatened by the pandemic COVID-19. The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of the world experience in the management of e-commerce enterprises as subjects of innovative entrepreneurship and study their content. Methodology. The study used generalizations, comparisons and systematic methods. Results. In the article the specifics of the world experience in the management of e-commerce enterprises as subjects of innovative entrepreneurship are analyzed. The experience of this topic in the leading countries of the world is studied. The list of features of this question is defined. Practical meaning. It is argued that the significant reorientation of world trade to online sales channels due to the impact of quarantine restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 could significantly affect the real level of sales in 2020, adjusting it upwards. It is noted that the industrial revolution turned agrarian societies into production centers and changed people's work and the standard of living they could expect. The digital revolution has also changed the way people communicate, shop and work. Referring to the experience of e-commerce companies, which are directly affected by the digital transformation on the nature and intensity of their activities in both strategic and operational dimensions, it should be noted that digital business strategies continue to review traditional retail through multichannel capabilities. Prospects for further research. Statistics show that mobile commerce, especially the use of mobile applications, is becoming increasingly important in the development of online sales strategies. Yes, Amazon is the leading mobile application for online stores in the United States. At the same time, Amazon singles out a list of development risks that are quite obvious to all retailers operating in the e-commerce environment, primarily related to the implementation of international transactions, which the author cites in the article. The author gives an example of successful European experience in managing an e-commerce company, namely the company “C&A” – a Belgian-German-Dutch network of retail clothing stores. Also interesting is the Chinese e-commerce platform Aliexpress, the international online platform Alibaba (aliexpress.com), which was launched in 2010, and Taobao, the online platform Alibaba C2C (taobao.com), which was founded in May 2003. It is noted that almost 80% of small and medium enterprises consider sales on social networks as a proven strategy to increase revenue.
