Google Translate as the recent platform which enables people translate from one language to others has been hype nowadays.On the other hand, inaccurate result in translating frequently happens. In accordance with that, Google Translate lets everyone help them in correcting the result of translation through their Google account. They are asked to fix inaccurate words then give corrections or translate from one language to others. This idea has been brought as teaching method in Translation course for EFL learners at Department of English of Universitas Negeri Malang. By giving contribution in translating the words, they will get badges and stats as rewards and become the lecturer’s assessment. Therefore, the researchers are going to analyze the effectiveness of Google Translate based in Translation course. Meanwhile, the significance of this study is to give insight for education practitioners in developing teaching method of Translation. The data is analyzed using qualitative descriptive by distributing questionnaire to twenty seven EFL learners who took the course and interviewing the lecturer who applied this method.

Vocabulary known as an essential skill for learning to read, speak, write and listen. It is important to find the appropriate technique in order to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. The researchers did research with focuses on students’ perception towards using “dictionary pocket” in order to improve their vocabulary mastery. It was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. To collect the data, the researchers use the instruments of an open-ended questionnaire and interview section. The samples were 36 students of second grade from Broadcasting major at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi. The result of the questionnaire shows that it was found that almost all of the students feel that with learn vocabulary can be easier when they use the technique of remembering dictionary pocket. They also agree that dictionary pocket is an appropriate technique which is used to learn vocabulary. In the other hand, the result of interview shows, the students concede that they are feel helped and being motivated. It can be sum up that dictionary pocket is suitable to strengthen their vocabulary mastery. Dictionary pocket is useful enough because it can help them when they forget the word.

This study discusses the forms of crime in the context of criminal acts or the comparison of criminal acts (same loop) that occur in society. This happens where one person commits a crime, but it is not uncommon for one person to commit several functional crimes at the same time in the same place. On the other hand, there is also one person who determines the number of crimes at different times in different locations which in criminal law is known as the term of criminal acts or sharing criminal acts (same loop) or in Dutch is same loop van Strafbare Feiten. This study uses a normative method using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are three forms of criminal acts namely Concursus Idialis, continuing actions and realist Concursus while the penal system in the proportion of criminal acts can be applied to three methods, namely Stelsel absorption, cumulative Stelsel, and limited cumulative Stelsel.Keywords: criminal code; criminal system; joint crime. AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang bentuk-bentuk kejahatan perbarengan perbuatan pidana atau perbarengan tindak pidana (samenloop) yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat. Hal tersebut bisa terjadi dimana satu orang melakukan satu kejahatan tapi tidak jarang terjadi satu orang melakukan beberapa kejahatan baik dalam waktu yang sama di tempat yang sama. Disisi lain, ada juga satu orang yang melakukan beberapa kejahatan pada waktu yang berbeda di tempat yang berbeda pula yang dalam hukum pidana dikenal dengan istilah perbarengan perbuatan pidana atau perbarengan tindak pidana (samenloop) atau dalam bahasa belanda ialah sameloop van strafbare feiten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode normatif, dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga bentuk perbarengan tindak pidana yaitu concursus idialis, perbuatan berlanjut dan concursus realis sedangkan sistem pemidanaan dalam perbarengan tindak pidana dapat diterapkan tiga stelsel yaitu stelsel absorpsi, stelsel kumulasi dan stelsel kumulasi terbatas.Kata kunci: KUHP; sistem pemidanaan; perbarengan tindak pidana.

The aim of this research is to explore the strengths and weaknesses of teaching speaking by using LMS-Edmodo based on the teacher’s perceptions. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach that involved one teacher as a participant. Observation, documentation, and interview are three kinds of instruments which were applied to this research. The data were collected by using three stages of qualitative analysis (Miles & Huberman, 1994), which were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Based on the teacher’s perception, the strengths of teaching speaking by using Edmodo are its economy, privacy, simplicity, and flexibility. On the other hand, time-consuming, harm to the teacher’s health, slow loading if The aim of this research is to explore the strengths and weaknesses of teaching speaking by using LMS-Edmodo based on the teacher’s perceptions. <p><em>The aim of this study is to investigate the extent to which task-based instruction affecting EFL learners’ performance. This paper covers the impact of task approach on EFL learners’ performance. It shades light on the relevant literature reviewed and studies on TBLT. At the same time, t</em><em>he speaking skill and s</em><em>peaking sub-skills are introduced as a base for t</em><em>eaching and developing speaking activities. On the other hand, the paper reflects on implementing task-based instruction and the p</em><em>rinciples for implementation by drawing a framework for implementation, and factors affecting implementation of TBI. On the above findings, the researcher recommends that teaching instruction should be given more attention in EFL classes in the light of using task-based approach. Also the researcher suggests that further research is needed to explore more in the effectiveness of task-based programs on EFL learner’s performance as well as its fluency.</em></p>

The present study aimed at exploring the influence of a repeated exposure to the Metacognitive Awareness Listening Questionnaire (MALQ) on EFL learners’ level of metacognitive awareness. Participants of the study were forty intermediate university students who were randomly assigned to experimental (n=20) and control (n=20) groups. The experimental group completed MALQ in odd sessions (seven sessions in total) across a semester. The control group, on the other hand, completed it in the first and last sessions of the course as pre-test and post-test, respectively. Results of the study showed that the questionnaire benefited the experimental group in a statistically significant way. Also, findings of the study revealed that less-skilled participants of the experimental groups benefited from the treatment more in comparison to their more-skilled counterparts in the experimental group. Keywords: MALQ, metacognitive instruction, metacognitive awareness

This study aimed to identify the nationalism values in “Tanah Surga...Katanya” film. It is a qualitative descriptive study based on audiovisual of film. The results indicate that, in the border, the value of Indonesian nationalism is faded, such as lack of recognition of the Indonesia Rupiah, low appreciation on the national anthem, and looking down on the potential of the region. That condition is due to the government’s lack of attention to education, health, transportation, communication, and economic facilities. But, on the other hand, the spirit of nationalism and nationality emerged, as well as sacrifice to defend the country.

Qur'an is revealed in a different language style with the previous books. Everyone must have deep knowledge of rhetoric, especially semantics, to understand it. Qur'an uses rhetoric in many verses to explain some crucial issues related to education, such as teaching method which stated in Al-Ghashiyah. The objective of this research is to find out the kind of Istifham which contained in Al-Ghashiyah, the meaning of a query tool in Al-Ghashiyah, and the correlation between Al-Ghashiyah containing istifham with Islamic education. This research uses qualitative approach, with descriptive and inductive analysis method.The research result shows that there are three adawatul istifham in Al-Ghashiyah, they are: "هل" (in the first verse), "أ" (in the seventeenth paragraph), and "كيف" (in the seventeenth to the twentieth verse). The word “هل in this surah has various meanings such as admiration, adoration, exaggeration, and longing. On the other hand, the word " أ " means command, admiration, and warning, while the meaning of " كيف " is for exaltation. The use of هل at the first verse of Al-Ghashiyah shows the importance of screening and observation before the lesson. Therefore, the Adawatul istifham is repeated in seventeenth verse to twentieth verse in order to answer the question of the first verse which show that it is obligatory for all teachers to guide the learners, monitor and evaluate the learning material that will be learned.

Da'wah can be done with various strategies according to the state of mad'u. Management in the organization is structured in such a way that da'wah activities run well and according to purpose. The Qur'an Tafsir Council (MTA) is one of the da'wah institutions that carry out its da'wah with various methods, one of which is through television media among other da'wah media. MTA TV presents various da'wah programs in accordance with the vision of the MTA institution. The purpose of this study is to see how the MTA propaganda strategy through television is also side by side with other media. The author uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The findings of this study indicate that MTA through MTA TV can carry out their da'wah effectively because they are able to reach a wider audience. MTA TV is also able to adapt to the times so that this channel can survive, in addition to utilizing social networks that are in great demand by the public. However, on the other hand, the audience of listeners is still limited among Muslims who are members of this da'wah institution and the variety of programs is not so diverse.

This paper discusses the understanding of mappano culture values in the implementation of aqiqah in the Bulisu community of Kassa Village, Batulappa District in terms of Islamic theology. The aim of obtaining empirical data on the implementation of the mappano tradition and the cultural values contained in the implementation of the tradition by the Bulisu community. Using qualitative descriptive data in this paper concluded that the mappano tradition was implemented after the aqiqah event was finished. In practice, the mappano tradition 'on the one hand is in line with religious teachings that is to aim and return everything to Allah SWT. However, on the other hand some of which are carried out in the mappano' tradition are contrary to the teachings of religion by having the belief that the guardian of water is a temporary crocodile religious teachings that all that is in heaven and on earth is absolutely the property of Allah SWT.

One of the things that students lack mastery of, both at the secondary and tertiary levels, is when writing, namely the lack of accuracy in writing standard vocabulary that is in accordance with standard Indonesian spelling. This study aims to describe the writing of non-standard Indonesian vocabulary in a review text by students of SMK Giri Taruna Bogor. The subjects of this study were students of class XI SMK Giri Taruna Bogor FY 2020/2021 totaling 30. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the data obtained, there are 30 simple text reviews for class XI students of SMK Giri Taruna Bogor FY 2020/2021. The result of this research is the finding of writing 125 non-standard vocabularies in all of the students' review texts. Only 1 student review text work with data number 04 has 1 standard vocabulary writing error, namely the word analysis which should be written as analysis. On the other hand, the most non-standard vocabulary writing was done by students with data number 15, namely there were 10 writings of non-standard vocabulary.
