This study aims to examine the effect of tax managers' quality on tax avoidanceof manufacturing industry firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange withmachiavellian ethics as intervening. Using path analysis model with WarpPLS 5.0. This study examined the primary data for tax manager qualities and machiavellian ethics obtained from 103 tax managers working in manufacturing industry firms at IDX and secondary data from financial statements for tax avoidance. There are 10 tax avoidance indicators used as a proxy. This study gives results that the quality of tax managers have a significant positive effect on Machiavellian ethics. However, machiavellian ethics can not mediate the influence of tax manager quality on tax avoidance.

This study aims to determine the effect of total assets, profitability and audit fees on audit delay of manufacturing industry companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used in this study is the documentation method, which is by collecting and recording financial statements. The data source used is secondary data in the form of financial statements of manufacturing industry companies listed on the Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2018 which can be obtained through the site www.idx.co.id. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 39 units of data analysis. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 24.0 program. The results showed that (1) total assets had a significant positive effect on audit delay of manufacturing industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. (2) Profitability has a negative or no significant effect on audit delay of manufacturing industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, (3) Audit fee has a significant positive effect on audit delay of manufacturing industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Aim of this research is to determine the effect of accounting conservatism and tax avoidance on firm value. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2016 period. The number of samples is 48 manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique used is regression analysis. The results of the study show that conservatism has a positive effect on firm value, tax avoidance has a negative effect on firm value. While simultaneously conservatism and tax avoidance have a positive effect on firm value. Thus this study supports that accounting conservatism has a role as a function of monitoring the company's investment policies and one way to maintain the value of the company in limiting losses that may arise from poorly performing investment decisions. The company that conducts tax avoidance (has a smaller effective tax rate) is an effort made by management to reduce the company's tax burden and is able to minimize expenditure for tax purposes so that management looks good in the eyes of shareholders.

<p><em>The purpose of this research is</em><em> </em><em>to examine the effect of corporate governance, CEO characteristic, CEO compensation, and accounting irregularities on tax aggressiveness. The dependent variable in this research is tax aggressiveness, while the independent variable in this research are corporate governance, characteristic CEO and CEO compensation</em><em>.</em></p><p><em>This study used secondary data with entire population manufacture companies listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for 2015 -2017. The research sample are consists of 37 companies. The sampling method used to determine the sample is purposive sampling. The analysis model used in this research is multiple regression of panel data.</em><em></em></p><p><em>Based on analytical results concluded that independent director have a significant and negative effect on tax aggressiveness while accounting irregularities has a significant and positive effect on tax aggressiveness. The board size, CEO compensation, age, and CEO tenure have no significant effect on tax aggressiveness. </em></p>

This research aims to examine the relationship between KAP size, institutional ownership, and the audit committee on the quality of financial reports. 616 Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) companies in 2018 became the population in this study. Purposive sampling as a sampling technique resulted in 547companies. Using inferential logistic regression analysis and using descriptive statistical analysis hypothesis testing methods with IBM SPSS version 25 tools. This study found that the KAP size and the audit committee has a positive effect on the quality of financial reports. Institutional ownership does not affect the quality of financial reports. Simultaneously, KAP size, institutional ownership, and audit committee influence the quality of financial reports. This study concludes that partially, KAP size and audit committee has a positive effect on the quality of financial reports. Simultaneously, KAP size, institutional ownership, and audit committee affect the quality of financial reports. Further research suggests using other proxies, other periods, and other variables.

"> This study aims to examine empirically the effect of firm size, solvency, profitability, and thequality of public accounting firms (KAP) to the audit delay on manufacturing companieslisted in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study focuses on companies listed on the IndonesiaStock Exchange. The data used are secondary data, the audited financial statements of 47companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2012. To test the hypothesis,performed multiple regression analysis that begins classic assumption test includingnormality, linearity, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The data usedhas met all the classical assumptions. Partial test results show that the variable size andvariable quality of the public accounting firm (KAP) that affect audit delay, while variablesolvency and profitability variable does not affect the audit delay.Keywords: audit delay, KAP, company’s size, profitability, solvency

Tax avoidance is a legal action carried out by corporate taxpayer to reduce, minimize, and alleviate the tax burden in the manner permitted by law. Nowdays, there are a lot of tax avoidance cases in Indonesia. Indonesia is ranked 11th largest with the highest tax avoidance cases with an estimated value of 6.48 billion US dollars. This study aims to analyze the Influence of corporate ownership, executive characteristics, and the intensity of fixed assets on tax avoidance.The research’s population of this study were 152 manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015,2016, and 2017. This research samples were 62 companies or 167 observation data selected by purposive sampling method. The data used secondary data that obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and it was analyzed by multiple regression.The results of the study show that Family Ownership and Institutional Ownership have no effect on Tax Avoidance. While managerial ownership has a positive effect on Tax Avoidance. Executive characteristics and Intensity of Fixed Assets have negative effect on Tax Avoidance.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is analyze the factors influence the quality of financial statement .This study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires to accounting of SKPD Semarang. The method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the variable role of information technology did not significantly affect the quality of financial statements, (2) the competence of human resources significant positive effect on the quality of financial statements, (3) the role of internal audit significant positive effect on the quality of financial statements.Keywords: role of IT, competence of human resources, role of internal audit, and quality of financial statement

Tax avoidance is a business that is conducted legally by the company by utilizing existing loopholes in the tax regulations with the aim of minimizing or even avoiding tax payments. This research aimed to know and analyze the effect of political connections, fixed assets intensity, independent commissioners, profitability and leverage to tax avoidance. The method used is quantitative, where the data used is secondary data formed as financial statements of banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The sample determination used purposive sampling, so obtained financial statements that meet the research criteria of 172 observations. The data analysis technique used multiple linier regression analysis. The research result showed that political connections, fixed assets intensity, profitability and leverage affected to the tax avoidance. While independent commissioners is not affected to the tax avoidance

This Study aims to examine the effect of firm size, leverage and profitability on income smoothing of the manufacturers registered at the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. Type of research in this study is quantitative research. The data used be in the form of secondary data taken based on the company’s financial statements in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The sampling technique of this study uses purposive sampling method. The analysis method of this research uses a regression analysis with Eviews 9 Version. Based on the result of analysis data in this research showes that the firm size have a positive effect on income smoothing while the leverage and profitability does not effect on income smoothing in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. This study aims to prove the effect of capital structure, liquidity, profitability and firm age on earnings quality. The type of research used is quantitative research and secondary data. The sample of this research is mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2020 using purposive sampling. This study shows that capital structure has no significant effect on earnings quality, liquidity has no significant effect on earnings quality, profitability has no significant effect on earnings quality and firm age has no significant effect on earnings quality. The implications of this research are related to earnings quality. Investors and other users of financial statement information, need to consider the liquidity factor because this factor has a significant impact on the quality of earnings in the company. This shows that users of financial statements, especially investors, need to consider the liquidity factor when making investment decisions in affiliated companies.
