Overcrowding often occurs in DKI Jakarta, especially on Jalan Gatot Subroto. This location is one of the biggest business centers in Jakarta. Roadside activities that impede traffic flow are called side friction. Side friction is an impact on traffic performance resulting from road segment activities. Highway capacity is also influential. That happens because the available highway capacity is no longer able to accommodate the increasing traffic flow. Therefore, research was conducted. To calculate the highway capacity, observations were made to see the number of vehicles. It takes the perception of side frictions using questionnaire data. Questionnaire data collected  100 respondents. So, the results show that section is in the VL (Very Low) side obstacle class, which occurs in the morning while the L (Low) side obstacle class occurs in the afternoon and evening. The results estimation of the side drag factor data shows that the volume is greater than the highway capacity. The correlation between observation data and questionnaire results vehicles parked or stopped on the side of the road and vehicles from roadside access have a sequential weight order, while pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles have non-sequential weights. Further research to expand the questionnaire and get more precise results. ABSTRAKKepadatan sering terjadi di DKI Jakarta khususnya di Jalan Gatot Subroto. Lokasi ini salah satu pusat bisnis terbesar di Jakarta. Aktivitas sisi jalan dapat menghambat arus lalu lintas disebut hambatan samping. Hambatan samping merupakan dampak terhadap kinerja lalu lintas yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas segmen jalan. Selain itu, kapasitas jalan juga berpengaruh. Hal ini terjadi karena kapasitas jalan yang tersedia sudah tidak mampu untuk menampung arus lalu lintas yang semakin tertambah kepadatannya. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian. Untuk menghitung kapasitas jalan, dilakukan observasi untuk melihat jumlah kendaraan. Selain itu, dibutuhkan persepsi hambatan samping menggunakan data kuesioner. Data kuesioner terkumpul sebanyak 100 responden. Maka, hasil menunjukan ruas Jalan Gatot Subroto berada di kelas hambatan samping VL (Very Low) terjadi di waktu pagi hari sedangkan kelas hambatan samping L (Low) terjadi di waktu siang dan sore hari. Hasil dari estimasi faktor hambatan samping data menunjukan volume lebih besar daripada kapasitas jalan. Korelasi anatra data observasi dengan hasil kuesioner menunjukan bahwa kendaraan parkir atau berhenti di sisi jalan dan kendaraan dari akses sisi jalan memiliki urutan bobot yang berurutan sedangkan untuk pejalan kaki dan kendaraan tidak bermotor memiliki bobot yang tidak berurutan. Penelitian selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat memperluas kuesioner dan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih tepat.

The highway is one of the infrastructure for the smooth traffic. One part of the road that are considered necessary to be analyzed and evaluated is an intersection. Three Gadut intersection is non signalized intersection. The traffic flow is quite dense, and lack of discipline of road user factors competing space to pass the crossing, resulting in congestion is very influential on traffic conditions at peak hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. Prior to conducting the survey, the first to do is survey the condition of the intersection that includes geometric characteristics and traffic volume. From the analysis of environmental data, side friction factor to the junction of three Gadut is the criteria being. Rated capacity (C) the smallest is 3706.3 smp/hour, the degree of saturation of 1.1 smp/hour. This value is over the limit permitted values manually indonesian road capacity of 0.8 to 0.9 (1.1> 0.9), it is concluded that the traffic flow is the crossroads of three Gadut saturated traffic flow. The queue probability value between 128.8% - 157.4% with a total delay largest average 11.57 seconds/smp. It is concluded that the chances of a queue at the intersection of three Gadut very large, so it could cause congestion.

The inbound and outbound traffic flow characteristic of a campus is an important physical component of overall university setting. The traffic circulation generated may create indirect effects on the environment such as, disturbance to lecturetime when traffic congestion occurs during peak-hours, loss of natural environment and greenery, degradation of the visual environment by improper or illegal parking, air pollution from motorized vehicles either moving or in idle mode due to traffic congestion, noise pollution, energy consumption, land use arrangement and health effects on the community of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Serdang. A traffic volume and Level of Service (LOS) study is required to facilitate better accessibility and improves the road capacity within the campus area. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the traffic volume and Level of Service of the main access the UPM Serdang campus. A traffic survey was conducted over three (3) weekdays during an active semester to understand the traffic flow pattern. The findings on traffic flow during peak hours are highlighted. The conclusions of on-campus traffic flow patterns are also drawn.

Klampis Jaya Road, Surabaya City, has a fairly heavy traffic flow, especially during working hours. This resulted in congestion on Klampis Jaya Road and not a few motorists who violated traffic regulations such as turning around Mleto Road. This study aimed to determine the current traffic flow performance and in 2024 at the intersection on Klampis Jaya Road, Surabaya City, predicted the traffic flow performance around the road and intersection on Klampis Jaya Road Surabaya City. The research method used was non-signalized intersection analysis using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. The calculation of the traffic performance of the four intersections in Klampis Jaya showed the Degree of Saturation (DS) and Service Level (TP) of each intersection. Traffic performance for the four intersections in 2021 was DS = 0.752 and TP = C (Enough), with the characteristics of stable traffic flow, was restricted movement. The traffic performance for the four intersections in 2024 was DS = 0.95 and TP = D (Less), with the characteristics of traffic flow stable movement being limited.

Jendral Soeharto street is one of the streets in Kupang. On this street, traffic jams often occur during peak hours. This study aims to determine the capacity and performance of existing traffic on Jalan Jendral Suharto. This study was analyzed using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI2014). Traffic performance analysis begins by calculating traffic flow at peak hours, road side friction, road capacity, degree of saturation, and analysis of space mean speed. The results of the traffic performance analysis show that the degree of saturation (DS) or v/c ratio in the existing conditions has a value of > 0.75, which is 0.98.

ABSTRAKPersimpangan merupakan suatu bagian jalan yang menjadi pusat pertemuan dari berbagai pergerakan arus lalu lintas. Pada tipe simpang tak bersinyal, sering dijumpai titik-titik konflik arus lalu lintas yang mengakibatkan kemacetan arus lalu lintas terutama pada saat jam-jam sibuk. Contoh kasus terdapat di Kota Bandung, terjadi pada persimpangan Jalan A.H. Nasution dan Jalan Cikadut. Lokasi ini dipilih karena selain kemacetan yang disebabkan oleh titik-titik konflik arus lalu lintas yang tidak teratur pada saat jam sibuk, di sekitar jalan pada simpang ini juga merupakan kawasan pertokoan, pemukiman, sekolah dan juga terdapat pom bensin. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan perhitungan dan analisis data pada kondisi awal simpang, didapat nilai derajat jenuh (DS) sebesar 0,983 untuk pagi hari dan 0,937 untuk sore hari. Karena hasil perhitungan simpang pada kondisi awal tidak memenuhi syarat MKJI 1997, yaitu DS < 0,85, maka perlu dilakukan perhitungan ulang dengan beberapa alternatif agar nilai DS bisa memenuhi.Kata kunci: persimpangan, kemacetan, derajat jenuh, MKJI 1997. ABSTRACTIntersection is a part of the road that becomes the center concourse of various traffic flow movements. In the type of unsignalized intersection, there are often traffic flow conflict points which cause traffic jams, especially during rush hour. Examples of cases are in the City of Bandung, occurred at the intersection of A.H. Nasution Street and Cikadut Street. This location was chosen because in addition to congestion caused by irregular traffic flow conflict points during rush hour, around the road at the intersection this is also a shopping area, residential, school and gas station. Based on these problems, data calculations and analysis are carried out in the initial intersection condition, obtained saturated degree (DS) values of 0,983 in the morning and 0,937 in the afternoon. Because the results of the intersection calculation in the initial conditions did not comply the requirements of the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual of 1997 (IHCM 1997), that’s DS < 0,85, it is necessary to recalculate with some alternative that value of DS can comply.Keywords: intersection, congestion, degree of saturation, IHCM 1997.

An unsignalized intersection is a part of a road where currents from different directions or directions meet. There was a conflict between currents from theopposite direction and intersecting each other, resulting in congestion along the arms of the intersection. Likewise, at the intersection of four arms without a signal at Sibuhuan Market, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra, there is a congestion caused by the reduction in the effective width of the road due to parking on the road. At the intersection of four arms without a signal at Sibuhuan Market, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra, there is a congestion caused by side obstacles, a high vehicle population that is not matched by the availability of adequate infrastructure so this research aims to analyze the performance of the four-arm intersection without a signal. based on Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997) and analyzes them to improve the performance of these unsignalized intersections. The analysis of the results showed that the intersection performance for the unsigned intersection conditions in the existing condition with the parking on the side of the road which reduced the effective width, the maximum total flow was 2341 pcu / hour, capacity (C) = 2707.06 pcu / hour, and the degree of saturation (DS) = 0.86, intersection delay (D) = 14.62 seconds / pcu and queuing opportunity (QP) 30.03 - 59.32%. Therefore, it is necessary to recalculate with various alternatives so that the DS value meets the requirements of the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual, which is < 0.75.

Transjakarta is one of the public transportation facility provided by Indonesian government to decrease of the traffic in Jakarta, but when this government is planning to implement new traffic rules ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) or streed paid. In this study, will be discussed about the condition on jl. Gajah Mada, segment road is an access to the road towards the center of the shopping and office. To analyze the volume of vehicles will be used method of observation directly to obtain the volume, speed and traffic density. Direct observation is done by paying attention to private vehicles and heavy vehicles. With the observation data will get a graph of the relationship between speed and density that will be modified eith questionnaire data. Questionnaire data is distributed to get the percentage of Transjakarta with feeder total round trip cost with travel time. In this study it is expected to know the percentage of private vehicle users who will switch to Transjakarta with their feeders after the ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) implemented on the Gajah Mada street.  ABSTRAKTransjakarta yakni salah satu sarana transportasi publik yang diberikan pemerintah Indonesia untuk mengatasi kepadatan lalu lintas di Jakarta, namun saat ini pemerintah berencana untuk menerapkan aturan lalu lintas baru yaitu ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) atau jalan berbayar. Pada penelitian ini akan dibahas mengenai kondisi lalu lintas Jl. Gajah Mada, ruas jalan ini merupakan akses pengguna jalan untuk menuju pusat perbelanjaan dan perkantoran. Untuk menganalisa volume kendaraan akan digunakan metode observasi langsung untuk mendapatkan volume, kecepatan dan kepadatan lalu lintas. Observasi langsung dilakukan dengan memperhatikan kendaraan bermotor roda empat dan dua serta kendaraan berat. Dengan data observasi akan didapat grafik hubungan antara kecepatan dan kepadatan yang akan dimodifikasi dengan data kuesioner. Data kuesioner disebar untuk mendapatkan presentase perbaikan total biaya pulang-pergi dengan waktu tempuh bus Transjakarta dengan feedernya. Pada penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui presentase pengguna kendaraan pribadi yang akan beralih ke Transjakarta dengan feedernya setelah diberlakukannya ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) di ruas Jalan Gajah Mada.

Traffic congestion is a problem that is often faced by Indonesian big cities. It is related to land use in an area that causes on-street parking. The main cause is the imbalance between demand and supply, namely the need for parking during rush hour exceeds the capacity of existing parking. Another consequence is the increasing of side barriers resulting in the delays on certain roads. Shopping area in Jl.Kapasan, Surabaya is one of the densely areas attracted most people of Surabaya to conduct trading activities and shopping for daily needs. The denstiy of this region will affect the performance of traffic flow and causing delays.The study aims to identify on-street parking in Jl.Kapasan shopping area, consequences arising from parking on the road, and determine the level of service or performance of roads around this shopping area. The analytical methods used are derived from Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual 1997. Based on calculation and analysis, the capacity of Jl.Kapasan without parking on the road was 1468 pcu/hour and with on-street parking was only 1276 pcu/hour.

Electronic road pricing is a prepaid road which is used to decrease the traffic volume with using Electronic road pricing gate on the road that applied ERP and using In-Vehicle Unit device. The high number of vehicle volume at jakarta become one of the main reason of applying electronic road pricing. On this study will be discussed about the condition of Kuningan road traffic situation, this road is a main access for people especially to work and shopping. to analyze the vehicle volume will be using direct observation method to got the volume, velocity and intensiveness of the traffic. direct observation will be used to watch vehicle such as motorcycle, light vehicle and weight vehicle. with observation data we will get graphic about the connectivity between velocity and intensiveness that will be modified with questionnaire. questionnaire data will be spreaded out to get the percentage of decreased volume and estimated price for electronic road pricing. This study is expected to learn the electronic road pricing with most efficient price to decreased the vehicle volume at Kuningan road. ABSTRAKElectronic Road Pricing adalah jalan berbayar yang digunakan untuk mengurangi kemacetan lalu lintas dengan cara memasangkan gate Electronic Road Pricing pada jalan yang akan dikenai ERP dan memasang In-Vehicle Unit. Tingginya volume kendaraan di Jakarta menjadi alasan utama diterapkan Electronic Road Pricing. Pada penelitian ini, dibahas mengenai kondisi lalu lintas jalan Kuningan, ruas jalan ini merupakan akses pengguna jalan untuk menuju perkantoran dan tempat perbelanjaan. Untuk menganalisa volume kendaraan akan digunakan metode observasi langsung untuk mendapatkan volume, kecepatan dan kepadatan lalu lintas. Observasi langsung dilakukan dengan memperhatikan kendaraan bermotor roda dua, kendaraan ringan dan kendaraan berat. Dengan data observasi akan didapat grafik hubungan antara kecepatan dan kedapatan yang akan dimodifikasi dengan data kuesioner. Data kuesioner disebar untuk mendapatkan persentase penurunan volume dan perkiraan harga Electronic Road Pricing untuk mengurangi volume lalu lintas. Diharapkan pada analisis penelitian ini dapat mengetahui biaya Electronic Road Pricing yang paling efisien untuk mengurangi volume kendaraan pada ruas jalan Kuningan.
