Several studies stated that the learning style of the millennials dominates visually and kinesthetically, approaching group system or communities wherein millennials generally enjoy the interaction and sharing learning environments rather than reading books. This generation is described as a generation that is fast and practical, looking for fun, technology savvy but also categorized as a generation that is dependent on technology and has a short attention span. With the development of this instant society, not a few among the milenial that do not appreciate the process, instead they focus on directly jumping onto the final results, wherein the quality of a process does not only determines the quality of the final result but it actually triggers a sense of ownership and respect for what is being produced. Based on the results of the research that has taken place, a creative space is needed to provide the younger generation for devoting their creativity through the whole process. Makerspace contains self-made aspects that trigger ownership and sharing as well as experiments that are compatible with working and learning styles of millennials. Makerspace is a program that is considered not only suitable but also popular in the creative industry world and is very attractive to the generations of millennials in creativity aspects. Combining science, art, and aesthetics which will not only support the process of thinking in the world of education but as well as raise their moral values such as respect. It is essential to be able to appreciate every process that goes through as learning, both the process of work done personally and in groups.

This chapter is the result of a two years effort to design a template aiming at standardizing, as much as such a task is feasible, the evaluation of Web sites. It is the product of a few publications in international conferences and journals. A thorough review of the international literature on the subject led the authors to conclude there is a very large number of opinions, thoughts and criteria from different professionals involved, directly or indirectly, with the process of designing a good Web site. To make matters even more complicated there are a number of different terms used by various scholars, scientists and professionals around the world that often refer to similar, if not the same, attributes of a Web site. However, it seems that all these differences could boil down to a systematic approach, here called evaluation template, of 53 points that the design strategies of the Web sites should be checked against. This template was tested on a significant number (232) of Web sites of Greek companies and proved it can be used to evaluate the quality of Web sites not only by technology experts but by non-experts alike. The evaluation template, suggested here, is by no means the solution to the problem of standardizing the process of evaluating a Web site but looking at other work done on the subject worldwide it is a step ahead.

However, it should also be noted that this area also has the ability to recover quickly (coming out of various crises). The world practice of successful hotel operation has shown that the presence of benchmarking companies in developed countries has brought good results to various enterprises. Since the hotel industry in Georgia is not yet developed to a level that meets international standards, it would be a good idea to create the regional hotel associations, to invite experts who provide benchmarking with their consulting activities and services. This means that the high-ranking experts will be invited to select the most important indicators for the analysis. Creating a service standard framework will help the hotel industry to improve the quality of a service. Why is the knowledge of benchmarking tools important for hotels? Explorations in learning styles have proved the significance of the ways students approach, assimilate, and process information. Students’ perceptions and their organization influence the quality of language learning and guide them towards autonomy, too. This study attempts to identify the preferred perceptual learning styles of 86 Saudi English for Specific Purposes (ESP) female students in the Preparatory Year Deanship, Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University, Saudi Arabia. To accomplish this aim, a Perceptual Learning Style Preference Questionnaire (PLSPQ) developed by Joy Reid (1987) was used. The results showed that the participants’ major learning styles were Kinesthetic, Group, Auditory, Visual, and Tactile, whereas their minor style was Individual. The analysis of the data also revealed that the most preferred learning style was the Kinesthetic learning style (18.64%, M=4.42), and the least preferred one was the Individual learning style (14.30%, M=3.39). The second to fifth place belonged to Group (17.19%, M=4.07), Auditory (16.81%, M=3.98), Visual (16.55%, M=3.92) and Tactile (16.52%, M=3.91) learning styles. The findings have implications for teachers, syllabus designers, and researchers to take into consideration students’ preferred learning styles for language learning while teaching, changes in the learning environment, and material adaptation.
