The article examines the issues of modern trends in the development of small business in the Republic of Kalmykia. One of these trends is entrepreneurship, which actively uses ethnic, national components in its line of business. The purpose of the article is to study the ethno-economic aspects of modern entrepreneurship in Kalmykia. The main research method is an expert survey. A total of 12 experts were interviewed. The study was conducted in May-June 2020 in Elista. As experts, restaurateurs or owners of national cuisine cafes, ateliers, clothing manufacturers, representatives of the tourism business, manufacturers of souvenir products, owners of souvenir shops, manufacturers of ethnic furniture, etc. Experts note the popularity and demand for ethnic goods, handicrafts in the segment of ethnic fashion, ethnic design. And also services of ethno-tourism, ethno-restaurants, which testifies to the prospects of ethno-business and ethno-entrepreneurship in the republic. Active revival of Buddhism, restoration, development of national culture, natural resources make Kalmykia especially attractive for tourists. However, one of the problems in the development of ethnic entrepreneurship is the fact that there are very few masters of national instruments, masters of making complex souvenirs (leather, wood, metal). An expert survey has shown that the development of ethnic entrepreneurship is an important resource for economic development in Kalmykia.

Tobacco and processed tobacco products is not only being an important part in the culture of the Indonesian nation. But they are also natural biological resources which have contributed greatly to the prosperity and welfare of the Indonesian people. Basically entrepreneurs or farmers of the Tobacco Industry as a very strategic trading eye have a very big role on the country's economy and the household economy of the Indonesian people specifically tobacco farmers. The cigarette and tobacco industry is one of the national industries that is still quite strong to date, in addition to material contributions in the form of state revenue from excise and employment, this tobacco-based industry is recognized as being part of the Indonesian community. This industry involves directly or indirectly. Nicotine in cigarettes is a group of legal addictive substances such as cigarettes, cigars, nicotine pieces which are stimulants, which increase dopamine and adrenaline. The main research question in this research is how is legal protection for tobacco farmers in the perspective of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health? The research method used is normative legal research, using analysis of various legal materials. By using normative legal research methods because to produce new arguments, theories or concepts as a prescription in solving the problems faced, namely Legal Protection against Tobacco Farmers. The conclusions of this study are efforts to protect against the dangers of smoking, among others, by raising the price of cigarettes, prohibiting the sale of cigarettes to children less than 18 years and prohibiting the sale of cigarette bars and not ratifying the Framework Convention on Tobaco Control (FCTC).

In modern economic conditions, the topic of the article is relevant, since great importance is attached to the development of small business throughout the world. This is due to the fact that one of the main criteria for an efficient economy is a high proportion of small businesses. The article sets the goal, which was to identify and analyze the main problems of small business development in the context of a pandemic and crisis, as well as to find ways to solve them. The subject of the research is the activities of small businesses in the context of a pandemic and economic crisis. The work reveals the main features and characteristics of small business, reflects force majeure circumstances associated with the pandemic, which entailed a crisis in the world economy. In the course of the study, it was revealed that the activities of small businesses are a priority in the context of a pandemic and crisis; the main factors influencing the low efficiency of state support for small businesses are identified. The main research methods are comparative, systemic, statistical analyzes. The author pays special attention to the search and selection of new mechanisms and methods for the development of small business in the context of a pandemic and after its completion.

For example, the share of small business in GDP for 2000 –2019, the share of small business in major economic activities for 2011 –2019, the number of registered enterprises for 2011 –2019, as well as the growth rate operating small enterprises for 2015 –2019.

Relevance and purpose of the work. In modern conditions of activating state support for small business development in the Russian Federation and the spread of regional practices, new generalizations and conclusions about the stages and institutions of modern business development in the form of small business are required. In accordance with this, the purpose of the study was formulated - to identify the stages and describe the regional model of small business development institutions. Object of study - the Republic of Tatarstan (RT). Materials and methods. A quantitative description of the number of small businesses in a comparative assessment with medium and large businesses based on the calculation of indicators of the relative size of the structure of small businesses (OVSmp), growth rates (Tpr). Characteristics of the stages of small business development in the Russian Federation by the method of verbal description of criteria. Comparative functional analysis of small business development institutions in the Russian Federation with detailing at the meso-level in descriptive modeling of a regional model of small business development institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan. In the presentation of the results, gauge-analytical methods were used - tables and figures. Results and conclusions. According to the results of a retrospective analysis of the stages of small business development, an impact on the change in the number of small business enterprises of state support is found. The most productive in the context of the development of small business is the period of 1992-1995. Within the framework of foreign trends in the development of state support for small businesses in the Republic of Tajikistan, a federal program of state support for small businesses is being implemented on co-financing terms, within which business incubators are supported; export-oriented small business; fund of assistance to small enterprises in the scientific and technical field.

The article studies the relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Baltic States after gaining independence from the USSR. The paper considers the Baltic States as a new direction of emigration for citizens of Tajikistan. The author also pays attention to remittances from the Baltic States to the economy of Tajikistan. The purpose of the article is to identify new trends and directions of labor migration from Tajikistan to the Baltic countries. The objectives of the study are to determine the factors influencing the formation of new geographical directions of labor migration from Tajikistan. The main research method was the economic and statistical method, which includes the collection and processing of data on labor migration, as well as an assessment of the contribution of labor migration to the gross domestic product of Tajikistan as a sending country based on the author’s calculation methods. An important research method was conducting interviews with experts, as well as a secondary analysis of sociological surveys and Internet resources with stories of the life and migration of emigrants from Tajikistan to the Baltic countries.

The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of small business development in the context of digitalization, followed by the development of a set of measures to support business in the regions of Russia. In accordance with the goal, the author sets the following tasks: to analyze business development in the context of a pandemic and digitalization; to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the impact of digitalization on business development; to develop a set of measures to support business. The scientific novelty consists in identifying the key problems of business development in the context of digitalization and adaptation of innovations and investments in the digital business of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The analysis of business development based on the results of the research of the NAFI Research Centre is carried out. The problems, pros and cons of business development in the context of digitalization are considered. A set of measures for the development and support of business is suggested, including the development of a law on the protection of business in the Internet, which will provide support in the field of legal and information security for small and medium-sized businesses.

The rich cultural heritage of Finno-Ugric peoples is a self-important and an integral part of Russian and world culture. Tourism makes popular historical, cultural and natural monuments, folk crafts, national cuisine and parts of non-material culture, thus contributing to their preservation and development. Nowadays for many indigenous peoples of Russia (especially those, whose numbers are small) the development of ethnic tourism is an only way to preserve the traditions and customs. For that reason, the development of ethnic tourism, and in particular shaping a competitive tourism in Finno-Ugric regions are highly relevant. The Republic of Mordovia as the national region situated in the center of the European part of Russia has some advantages in the development of regional market of tourism services. The presence of unique heritage of Mordovian national culture, including places of interest, customs of national art crafts, regular events, national cuisine etc., makes ethnic tourism one of the main priorities for the development of Mordovia. The purpose of this study is to define efficient ways for the development of ethnic tourism in the Republic of Mordovia and establish a competitive ethnic itinerary based on the identified criteria for tour itineraries on the present-day market. The research efforts led to the setting up ethnic itinerary “The call of Torama”, aimed at the unification of competitive elements of regional tourism and providing effective sales of the itinerary on the Russian tourist market. The itinerary is a weekend tour. It is based on the objects of ethnic tourism, complemented by the visits to the main attractions of Saransk and areas of the Republic of Mordovia. «The call of Torama» is included in the branded itinerary list of Russia. The experience of the Republic of Mordovia in the formation of a branded ethnic itinerary can be successfully applied in other regions. The article analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the itinerary and provides recommendations for its improvement.

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) adalah salah satu penggerak perekonomian suatu daerah, termasuk Kota Sorong. UKM di Kota Sorong belum berkembang secara optimal. Ada beberapa penyebab diantaranya adalah mengenai finansial, lokasi, bahan baku dan lain-lain. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalah tersebut peneliti terdorong untuk melakukan pengembangan Aplikasi yang dapat membantu menentukan prioritas UKM yang sesuai dengan kondisi pelaku usaha. Pada penelitian ini akan digunakan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP), untuk pengambilan keputusannya. Metode AHP dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi dan menentukan alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif yang tersedia. Dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu UKM terbaik yang dapat dipilih oleh pelaku usaha sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses perankingan yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu UKM. Aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang dikembangkan berbasis Android, dimana pengguna akan mudah menggunakannya sewaktu-waktu jika terjadi perubahan bobot pada kriteria atau intensitas.  Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa metode AHP berhasil diterapkan pada Aplikasi Penentuan Prioritas Pengembangan UKM.
