<p><em>A research to investigate </em><em>the relationship of the agricultural extension agent (AEA) motivator-hygiene factors and their job performances at different agriculture extension institution in west java was conducted in August through Desember 2007.  The objectives of this study were:1) to identify their job performance and 2) to determine </em><em>the relationship of the agent motivator-hygiene factors and their job performances in west Java Province.  A total of 260 AEA from 17 districts in West Java were selected by a stratified randomized sampling technique with proportional allocation as a sample of the study. Descriptive statistics were used to determine the agents’ description  on their motivator-hygiene factors,  whereas the Kendall coefficient of concordance W  was used to analyze  the relationship of AEA performance and their motivator-hygiene factors. The results shown that some substantial works need to be done in order to improve the agents’ performances due to low hygiene factors and insufficient of motivating factors.  Furthermore, the Kendall coefficient of concordance W obtained mostly high and highly significant. It could be concluded that AEA performed best in respectively involving informal leaders, farmer group development, extension work plan, using extension method, program planning; and performed well in evaluation and reporting subject matters development, farmer self reliance development, office maintenance and administrative, rural economic development and need assessment.  Finally, Agriculture extension agent performed unsatisfactorily in evaluation and reporting, networking and professional development. </em></p><p> </p><em></em>

Agricultural extension is a communication process which is influenced by social capital. This research aims to analyze the relationship of social capital of agricultural extension officers and the success of agricultural extension. This research was conducted in Limbung Village and Tubajeng Village, Bajeng Sub-district, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi from October to November 2017. The Number of samples in this research were 75 respondents taken from 3 farmer groups namely Farmer Group of Sappaya III, Farmer Group of Taipa Bannya I, and Farmer Group of Bontorita I. Analysis of the data was using pearson product moment correlation analysis on questionnaire with Likert scale.  The results showed that the extension programs implemented by extension workers were considered successful by farmers. The social capital of agricultural extension workers assigned to research sites, in the form of trust, reciprocity and social networks is quite high. This is because the farmers assess the performance of extension workers quite well and the farmers are very pleased with the assistance provided especially the provision of information and technology about the farming that they practice. The study also found that social capital in the form of trust, reciprocity, and social network of extension workers partially or collectively affect the success of agriculture extension programs in the three farmer groups studied.

This study discussed the purpose of political education for the Regional Leadership Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of struggle in West Java Province, the relationship of the party’s platform to the values of Pancasila, and the approaches, methods, and media used by the party in growing Pancasila values to its cadres. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis. The results of this study were political education carried out by political parties to their cadres was a process of political socialization to improve the quality of human resources owned by the West Java Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan Party Regional Board. The relationship between the party platform and Pancasila values was a process of political education in which cadres were given new knowledge, understanding, and experience in transforming their political values and orientation towards the expected ideal system. The approaches, methods, and media carried out by political parties were carried out through the recruitment of political parties to ensure the sustainability and preservation of political parties.

This study discusses the relationship of vo2 max capability and the ability of martial arts athletes recovery, the instrument used in this study by using balke test to measure vo2 max and using polar to calculate the pulse. The purpose of this study is to determine and explain whether there is a relationship between the ability of vo2 max and the ability of the athletes recovery pencak silat In this study the researchers chose purposive sampling as the appropriate technique for sampling which researchers took the selected people according to the specific characteristics possessed by the sample that as many as 10 men athletes based on research needs. Research instruments used are data analysis. This research is located in Bandung, West Java precisely at the stadium of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, The result states that VO2 Max from the lowest to the highest is 35.6-47.5 and the recovery pulse from the lowest to the highest is 115-159. The results of data processing showed the following discovery: "There is no significant relationship between VO2 Max and the recovery ability of the athlete of pencaksilat".  Kata kunci : Vo2 Max, pencak silat recovery

A research on the relationship of several selected characteristics of Agricultural Extension Agents and their performance had been conducted in July through September 2005. The Objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the distribution of Agricultural Extension Agents on several selected characteristics, 2) to identify the performance of Agricultural Extension Agents based on their official main duty, and 3) to determine the extent of relationships between the agricultural extension agents’ characteristics and their performance. One hundred Agricultural Extension Agent respondents were selected randomly to meet the objectives. The respondents were from Bogor, Sukabumi, Bekasi, Majalengka, and Subang districts. A closed end questionnaire was developed to gather needed data. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively. Kendall W Concordance procedure was used to determine the extents of relationship among agents’ characteristics and their perceived performance. The research results showed that: (1) some of the agents’ characteristics were correlated significantly with their performance, (2) the agents’ performance in accomplishing their official duties was mostly good, (3) the official duties that they considered as important was Extension Program Development, (4) while the ones that they considered as less important was professional development, evaluation, reporting their monthly duty, and preparing extension materials.

The objectives of this study were: (1) To determine the distribution of cashew farmer in a number characteristics, (2) To assess the farmer’s knowledge in cashew farming and, (3) To determine the relationship of the cashew’s farmer characteristics and their knowledge in cashew farming. Ninetyone cashew farmers were interviewed in this study. Data were collected in July to September 2005. Data were analyzed by Kendall W Concordance procedure. The results of the study were as follows: The mean of the farmer‘s age was 41, the farmer’s formal education was secondary school, the farmer’s experience in cashew farming was 14 years, their motivations were high, their income was Rp. 5.4 million rupiahs per year, their farm size was 3.3 ha, their cashew trees was 467, their family size was 4 persons, their media consumtion was high, their cashew production was 2.9 ton per year, their contact with extension agent was good, and they did not have any prior training. The mean score of the farmers knowledge was 75.58. Knowledge that the farmers need were: (1) Agriculture technology, (2) Labour aspect, (3) Integrating cashew farm and livestock, and (4) Capital formation. There were high correlations between the farmer’s characteristics and the farmer’s knowledge in cashew’s farming.

Religion and Economic Behavior (The Relationship Of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah With The Economic Activity In Pesantren Suryalaya, Tasikmalaya West Java, Indonesia).The goals of the reserarch are (1) to study the values of the teaching of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah that can influence the economic activity, and (2) to study the relationship of one's (concentration of) understanding of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah with one's economic activity. The research has been done in the center of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah that is in Pesantren Suryalaya, West Java.Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah which is centralized in Pesantren Suryalaya, is the combination of two teaching of Tarekat. They are Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah. The teaching of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah is based on the teaching of al-Qur'an, Hadits, ljma and Qiyas. The aims of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah are taqarrub to Allah; to reach mardhatillah; mabbah and ma'rifah to Allah.Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah is now led by a mursyid/ leader/teacher, he is K.H.A. Shahibul Wafa Tajul Arifin (Abah Anom).If the economic activities which are by the followers of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah are observed there can be found a significant relationship between one's knowlege understanding of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah and his/her economic activities.That is why, there is a clear/significant relationship bet ween the level of one's knowledge of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah and their attitudes in working.There is a significant relationship between one's (orientation of) understanding of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wa Naqsabandiyah, in this case is involvement in their economic activities.There is significant relationship between one's understanding of Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsahandiyah, in this case is the teaching of zuhud and the degree of their involvement in their economic activities.There is a significant relationship between one's understanding of Tarekat Qadairiyah Wan Naqsabandiyah, in this case is the understsnding of Taqdir and their involvement in their economic activities.Thus, for those of the who follow Tarekat Qadiriyah Wan Naqsabandiyah whose level of knowledge of this Tarekat and whose orientation of their understanding of their religion is modern, the concept of working, more specifically the comercial activities, is not morely an sacred work that has the connection with their belief that can be found in Tarekat Qadariyah Wa Naqsabandiyah. <p>The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence and thought kretaif to mathematics achievement, emotional intelligence to determine the relationship of mathematics achievement and determine the relationship of creative thinking to mathematics achievement. The method used in this study is a survey with multiple correlation analysis. Population in this research is class VIII SMP N 01 West Cikarang, West Java. The sample in this research is class VIII SMP N 01 West Cikarang, West Java are registered in the school year 2013/2014 as many as 60 students from 12 classes. The results show there is a relationship of intelligence emotional and thought kretaif to mathematics achievement, there is a relationship of emotional intelligence on mathematics achievement and creative thinking there is a relationship to mathematics achievement</p><p> Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Creative Thinking and Learning Achievement in Mathematics</p><p> </p>

Maulidar R, Samosir AM. 2016. The relationship between shrimp production and mangrove condition in Cimanuk Delta, Indramayu, West Java. Bonorowo Wetlands 6: 59-68. The aim of this research was to evaluate the relationship of shrimp resources condition with mangrove ecosystems in Cimanuk Delta, Indramayu. Prediction of shrimp productivity analyzed at the community and population level, then linked to the condition of mangrove vegetation and water quality. The results of the analysis showed community and population productivity of the shrimp were positively related to the density of mangrove. Overall, the secondary productivity of the community, population, and density of mangroves in the Pabean Ilir village was higher than Pagirikan village. The results of the analysis of shrimp productivity of commodity in Pabean Ilir village was 323,360 gm-2yrs-1, while in the Pagirikan village was 185,766 gm-2yrs-1. Secondary productivity of the dominant species Penaeus merguiensis and Metapenaeus monoceros was 147,350 and 66,677 gm-2yrs-1 while in Pagirikan village was 87,633 and 47,536 gm-2yrs-1.
