<em>Management of education by creating a conducive learning environment and successfully fulfilling commitments in fulfilling promises as educational leaders. The low quality of human resources is a fundamental problem that can hamper development and national economic development. Along with the advancement of knowledge and technology, the socio-cultural life, socio-economy is increasingly unacceptable to space and time. In order to build the quality of Indonesian people who are able to challenge it, clearly it requires human resources that can be relied upon in the face of competition. TQM is a quality management system that is related to continuous improvement in improving the quality of education from various aspects of sustainability. Educational quality that is acceptable from customer needs and satisfaction. The application of TQM in school organizations is carried out as an effort to improve the quality of education in schools, thereby improving the quality of schools by improving the quality of education of high quality. The implementation of a management system is always disrupted by balance. Two parties who are pro and contra arise, accept TQM and reject TQM. TQM's refusal because it affects changes in management, namely changing established values. With this pillar, it is expected to be able to help schools improve their educational processes. The implementation of integrated Quality Management in schools is inseparable from the efforts of the principal to provide assistance to the school.</em>

Implementation of the Total Quality Management in the Learning Quality Management System in Educational Institutions. Total Quality Management is needed in institutions. To ensure the quality of an institutions, the institutions needs to pay attention better than before. Therefore the leaders of the organization must think about what efforts should be taken. Total Quality Management is one thing that really needs to be considered. It takes a lot of effort from organizational managers so that the quality of the organization really becomes a matter that is taken into account from the organization. The implementation of Total Quality Management in the field of education is also very important and cannot be abandoned by the principal as a main leader in his institution. To carry out Total Quality Management. the head master of the school don’t work o their own, but principals must work together with other parties, namely teams formed specifically to study the quality development in the school. The team must be chaired by an expert in t he field so that if there are problems it can be aeasily overcome. With the formation of the team, efforts to improve the quality of education can be immediately achieved by the school.

This paper is a research that examines the empowerment of human resources through the application of total quality management at SMK Miftahul Huda Ngroto Grobogan that this school is always experiencing development and progress according to the times so it is interested to be researched. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques are through observation and interviews. The research data were presented in a descriptive narrative form. Total quality management is a scientific field that refers to quality, which will improve the quality of human resources in educational institutions, both from educators and students. So as to create superior and competitive educational output. From the results of the research, SMK Miftahul Huda Ngroto Grobogan uses a planned sustainable management system with reference to the total quality management system standard as a basis for empowering human resources to improve quality, so that SMK Miftahul

While data analysis through analysis of interactive (Milesand Huberman, 1994).Research finding of research focus I: 1) conducting two qualifyingwhich have been commended by ISO 9001:2008, namely System Design Of ManagementQuality of through step of plan-do-check-action ( P-D-C-A) and Documentation SystemManagement Quality of. Management Top (principal) organizational have to compareexpectation of the customer with Organizational performance able to determine directionpolicy of Organization. 2). Have Commitment of customer satisfaction either from internaland external school started by given the expectation and requirement of customer. 3).Process looked into a study which continue to have continuation and over there willhappened repairs to performance 4). Management system implementation quality of ISO9001:2008 in Public Vocational High School of 1 at Singosari qualify total involvementfrom entire school component. Annotation: The article discusses the current state of quality management systems in universities of Kyrgyzstan, their main characteristics, and also offers some recommendations for improving the quality management of education based on the QMS. Special emphasis is placed on the premises of the formation of a quality management system in the conditions of development of the higher education system of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is noted that until now there are no regulatory documents regulating the choice of one of the models of the quality management system in higher education. Educational institutions have the right to choose a model for the formation of a quality management system. The authorselected the main problems of the current state of education quality management in higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Based on the analysis, were proposed specific ways and directions of work in order to improve the quality of education based on quality management. It is emphasized that in modern conditions the introduction of a quality management system guarantees the quality of education and increases the competitiveness of universities.

This article is a theoretical study of the concept of benchmarking in library management to improve the quality of services and functions. The formulation of the problems raised is how the concept of benchmarking is and how its application to the existence and implementation of the functions of library institutions are. The method of writing in this article is to describe the concepts of benchmarking and then put the library activities on the concepts found. Benchmarking can and will be implemented in a library as a form of library development in a dynamic and sustainable way. Benchmarking done at this time tend to be external and functional. A library will apply benchmarking if its management system led to a total quality management system. It means that the empowerment of an organization's resources is developed maximally, professionally and proportionally. A library tends to benchmark, if it had a strategic planning to increase satisfaction both morally and materially.

This study aims to describe the application of the principles of quality management system (SMM) ISO 9001:2008 in VOCATIONAL SCHOOL of economics. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected using the documentation, interviews with principals, quality management representative (WMM), 2 teachers, and 3 students, and observation. The results show that the application of the principles of the ISO 9001:2008 at SMM SMK Economics Depok went well. This is evidenced by the existence of the school’s business that always maintains customers’ trust, a curriculum which is in accordance with the educational enhancement principles, the implementation of the planned program and goals, the involvement of the entire school’s members, continuous evaluation, problems resolution based on existing data and facts, and the mutual cooperation between the school and other parties. The results of this research is expected to be able to provide insight to the school’s principal to always foster a shared commitment to the various parties in the schools in regard to the implementation of the principles of the ISO SMM 9001:2008.   Keywords: The quality of education, the principles of SMM 9001:2008, ISO quality management system (SMM)

Purpose: The problem of the quality of education concerns not only Russia but also the entire world community. Many developed countries are concerned about the current state of education and are trying to improve their quality. One of the leading trends in the modernization of education in Russia is increasing attention to the problem of improving its quality, which requires the development of conceptual approaches to finding ways to solve it. Methodology: In pedagogical terms, the quality of education is considered from two positions: firstly, as the degree of compliance of the educational system with the established requirements and the quality of educational services provided by the educational institution; secondly, as the effectiveness of the educational process that meets the needs of social customers not only in terms of assimilation of a certain amount of knowledge by students, but also the development of their personality, cognitive and creative abilities. Result: The choice of an actual and effective educational program is interesting not only for the consumer but also for the educational organization (institution), as it is a quality program in many sectors of education that affects the competitiveness of the educational organization. Applications: This research can be used for universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of the Organization of Monitoring in the Quality Management System of the Educational Process when Training of Specialists is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

This paper attempts to address the problem of how to manage the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) based on ISO 9001: 2008. Problems become important because in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, quality human resources (HR) cannot be bargained again. The only way to improve the quality of human resources is through education, especially higher education institutions, including the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN). So that the quality of PTKIN is not less competitive with other universities in Indonesia, the management of PTKIN must be based on ISO 9001: 2008 as one of the principled quality management of TQM in detailed and systematic application. The ISO 9001: 2008 system is a means or tool of PTKIN to achieve the expected quality objectives and is able to answer the challenges of the current Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. In addition, there is a periodic internal quality audit requirement. At present ISO 9001: 2008 is the main choice for higher education institutions, PTKIN to implement a quality management system consistently and systematically to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. The application of ISO 9001: 2008 at PTKIN is very important as a step to realize and provide good governance, achieve excellent education practices, improve customer satisfaction and provide a better response to industry needs. PTKIN's main motive for implementing ISO 9001: 2008 is as a promotional step to provide an overview that PTKIN has high quality, high visibility and credibility, response to external factors and to develop an overall quality management system, so as to provide services and output the best that can guarantee the satisfaction of all customers and stakeholders.

Abstract: The Implementation of Total Quality Management in Waqf Management of the Dompet Dhuafa. This article raises issues about the total quality management (TQM) in waqf management. TQM is a major issue in management, especially for large companies, in a framework to increase the quality of product output and to satisfy customers. TQM nowadays is not only adopted by profit oriented companies but also non-profit institutions. For example, the Dompet Dhuafa has achieved Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 certification. This article concludes that the implementation of TQM in waqf management of the Dompet Dhuafa is relatively advanced since it gives serious attention to customers, both external dan internal. Similarly with process improvement and total involvement, Dompet Duafa  points to enthusiasm of planned and structured improvement as well as involving all elements of the organization comprehensively.Keywords: waqf, total quality management, waqf managementAbstrak: Implementasi Total Quality Management dalam Pengelolaan Wakaf  di Dompet Dhuafa. Tulisan ini mengangkat isu tentang total quality management (TQM) dalam pengelolaan wakaf. TQM merupakan salah satu terobosan manajemen yang umumnya dilakukan oleh perusahaan besar dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas produk yang pada muaranya dapat memuaskan konsumen.  TQM tidak hanya diadopsi oleh lembaga-lembaga yang berorientasi pada keuntungan material (profit oriented) namun juga lembaga-lembaga yang berbasis non profit (non-profit oriented). Salah satunya adalah Dompet Dhuafa yang telah berhasil meraih sertifikat Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa Implementasi nilai TQM dalam pengelolaan wakaf di Dompet Dhuafa dapat dikatakan relatif maju karena perhatian lembaga ini kepada pelanggan, baik eksternal maupun internal, cukup bagus. Begitu pula dalam hal perbaikan proses dan keterlibatan total, Dompet Dhuafa menunjukkan semangat perbaikan yang terencana dan terstruktur serta melibatkan semua elemen organisasi secara komprehensif.Kata Kunci: wakaf, total quality management, manajemen wakafDOI: 10.15408/ajis.v12i1.983
