This research is conducted to find the factor’s affecting firm performance of non financial listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was taken from 101 companies in the last five years from 2010-2014. The dependent variable in this research is the firm performance measured by return on equity, while the independent in this research is leverage measured debt to equity, growth opportunity, firm size, and liquidity. The results show that there are negative and significant influence between research leverage to firm performance. There is also posifive and significant effect between firm size to firm performance. And there is no influence between growth opportunity and liquidity to firm performance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of growth opportunity, profitability, business risk, and size on the company's capital structure either partially or simultaneously.The object of research used is the property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2017. This study uses a purposive sampling technique in determining research samples. the number of companies selected as the study sample were 18 companies registered in the property and real estate sector. This study uses a quantitative approach. The results showed that partially growth opportunity and size had not significant effect, while  profitability and business risk had a significant effect on capital structure. the results of testing simultaneously growth opportunity, profitability, business risk, and size have a significant influence on the capital structure.  Turn Over ratio, Gross Profit Margin and Return On Equity show unfavorable conditions.

The objective of this study is to examine the effect of ROE, DER, and firm size on stock prices of the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data used in this study were panel data sourced from the combination of cross section data and time series data. This research used purposive sampling method with the sample consisted of 86 manufacturing companies listed on IDX in 2017. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that ROE and firm size had a positive and significant influence on stock price. However, DER did not have a significant influence on stock price. Abstract: Hedging is an alternative of risk management that aims to protect the assets of company from losses caused by the risk. This research was aimed to analyze the influence of corporate value, liquidity, leverage, growth opportunity, financial distress and firm size to the hedging decision on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples were 24 manufacturing companies which were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2016-2017 which had been selected by using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used logistic regression. The research result showed that corporate value, liquidity and growth opportunity did not give any significant influence to the hedging decision whereas leverage, financial distress and firm size had significant influence to the hedging decision. Hedging adalah alternatif manajemen risiko yang bertujuan untuk melindungi aset perusahaan dari kerugian yang diakibatkan oleh risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh corporate value, liquidity, leverage, growth opportunity, financial distress dan firm size terhadap keputusan hedging pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 24 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2017 dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel corporate value, liquidity, dan growth opportunity tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan hedging, sedangkan variabel leverage, financial distress dan firm size berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan hedging.

Corporate governance (CG) is key to enhance firm’s value. The purpose of this research is to examine effects of various aspects of corporate governance on firm’s value. We used secondary penal data of 100 companies on Pakistan Stock Exchange for the period: 2010 – 2016. Findings revealed that among other aspects of CG, managerial ownership and board size have significant influence on the value of a firm. Among controlled variables, firm size and firm ages were also found significant in firm’s value. We are convinced that findings of this study would help addressing agency issues through effective corporate governance measures. This study has come up with some practical implications as well. It is suggested that for better firm performance and increasing efficiency the board size may be kept at minimum.

The purpose of this research is to examine and to obtain affected empirical evidence of financial leverage, firm size and employee stock ownership program (ESOP) to firm performance in manufacturing company in Indonesian Stock Exchange on 2013-2015. Independent variables in this research are Financial Leverage (DER), Firm Size and Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). Dependent variables in this research are Return on Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE). The results Showed that the simultaneous test of three independent variables Significantly afftected to the ROA and ROE. The partial tests of Financial Leverage (proxy DER) and Firm Size Significantly affected to ROA and ROE. But, the results Showed that the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) did not Affect to ROA and ROE.

The aim in this reseach is to find empirical evidence to finding the influence between leverage, liquidity, growth, and firm size towards firm performance. The reseach method used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 44 firms listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The subject of this reseach is all manufacture companies that are listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia for the period of 2017 until 2019. The type of data used is secondary data. Application that is used in this reseach is Eviews 11. This reseach shown that there are no significant influence between liquidity and firm age towards firm performance, there are positive significant influence between growth and firm size towards firm performance, and there is negative significant influence between leverage towards firm performance. The implication of this research is the need for high quality management that will encourage the firm to improve its performance in order to be able to determine the right strategies to be able to compete and then to maintain its sustainability.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of political connection toward the earnings management of service sector companies with control variables firm size and audit quality. Firm�s political connection measured by using dummy variable. Earnings management is proxied by discretionary accrual which is measured by using Modified Jones Model. The research data applied in this study are the secondary data which are taken from the annual reports of service sector companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange of 2016-2017 periods. There are 330 observations fit as sample, which are taken by using purposive sampling method. Data are processed by applying the multiple linear regression test. The result show that the political connection had positive but not significant influence to earnings management. Firm size had negative but not significant influence to earnings management. Whereas the audit quality had a negative and significant influence to earnings management.

This study examines whether board diversity affects firm performance. We investigate this study using panel data of a sample of S&P 500 firms during a 12 year period. After controlling for industry, firm size, and other board composition variables, we find that all three board diversity variables of interest – gender, ethnicity, and age have a significant influence on firm performance. While ethnicity and age have a positive influence on firm performance, it was found that gender has a negative influence. Implications for future research are discussed.

Corporate governance is considered as environment of trust, set of processes, policies and laws affecting the way corporations are administrated and directed. The previous literature in context of the corporate governance relationship with firm financial performance shows controversial findings; similarly literature shows lack of studies in context of developing countries as Pakistan. Therefore, this research explores the relationship of the corporate governance and the firm financial performance in context of developing country as Pakistan. The data has been collected from the sugar sector listed in KSE (Pakistan Stock Exchange), 20 corporations are selected as sample from sugar sector on basis of outstanding shares. Corporate governance taken as independent variable and measured as CEO biformity (CB), board size (BS), firm age (FA), firm size (FS). Financial performance of firms taken as dependent variable and measured as return on asset (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM). Data is collected for period of 2000-2013 from reports of the sugar companies listed in KSE (Pakistan Stock Exchange) issued annually and analysis of balance sheet given by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). Result shows that CEO biformity significantly affecting firm financial performance. Board size (BS) shows partially significant impact on firm financial performance. Firms age (FA) show partially significant impact on firm financial performance. Firm size (FS) shows partially significant impact on firm financial performance. Therefore, conclusion has been drawn based on the results of analysis that this study adds new knowledge to the existing body of knowledge of corporate governance impact on firm financial performance and in context of developing countries as Pakistan. In the modern era, stock investment can attract domestic investors or foreign investors. The objective is to invest their funds at the capital market that expect higher stock returns. The study aims to analyze factors that can affect stock returns and know the mediating effect of return on equity. The object of this research is the property and real estate sector that is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2018. This research used debt to equity ratio, current ratio, total asset turnover, firm size as independent variables and stock returns as dependent variables. Path analysis is used as reseach method tools with SMART PLS.The result says that debt to equity ratio and return on equity has a positive significant relationship with stock return, meanwhile firm size has a significant negative significant relationship with stock returns. Furthermore, return on equity can mediate the relationship between debt and equity ratios to stock returns.
