This present reflection focuses on the theme of the feminist revolution from the linguistic area. We intend to highlight how the female narrator instrumentalizes the verb and expressiveness in the search of effects that are usually disruptive of the systemic developed around the phallus. This work investigates, then, the instrumentalization of the linguistic sign from a subversive perspective of the exclusive sexist discourse. Relying on decolonial feminism –given that the colonial matrix is the small daughter of the patriarchal dogma–, we try to shed light on how novelists use erographic expressiveness to question the self-proclaimed sovereignty of men over the logos, and also to break the values that have been traditionally attributed to sexism. Thus, this study contemplates the feminine logos de-censored from its sexist obstacles as a weapon of resistance and transgression against the ideology sustained for a long time by the phalocracy

The term hysteria has undergone several substantial changes throughout its history. A charged concept, deemed for a long time as pejorative and offensive to womanhood, it has lately been re-appropriated for literature under the concept of the “hysterical narrative.” This new trend purports to redeem hysteria and, together with it, redeem the feminine and show all its complexity. Helen Oyeyemi’s 2007 novel, The Opposite House, conflates the private and the public in two female characters, one human, the other divine. Through this double perspective the work self-reflexively re-evaluates hysteria both in the self and in the community.

This paper will approach two of Nabokov’s poems from the perspective of embodied realism in Cognitive Linguistics. We will shed light on the reasons why we believe that Nabokov makes use of the DIVIDED SELF metaphor in his poetry. In the analysis of the poems we will explain how the Subject is understood in the author’s life in exile whereas the Self is understood in the author’s feelings of anguish and longing for his Russian past. Finally, we will also explain how Nabokov’s use of the DIVIDED SELF metaphor thematically structures both poems.

Aqui apresentamos alguns dos principais temas e o estilo de construção de suas crônicas.********************************************************************Hora de tirar o espartilho – Women’s issues in the short storiesof Lygia Fagundes TellesAbstract: This paper considers how womens’ issues are presented in Lygia Fagundes Telles’ short stories, evaluating narrative procedures and thematic choices, such as wickedness, dependence, conservatism, emancipation, loneliness, vanity or decrepitude. This study analyses the originality and modernity of Telles’ prose, noting the cautious distance of her vision of the feminine condition from any contemporary trends or labeling. Finally, the paper also aims to study the portrayal of women by Lygia Fagundes Telles. This simplies careful examination of how women occupy the role of the self, or subject, and to what degree Telles’ omens’ characters are individualized figures, facing different conflicts, in a variety of social, familial and affective situations. Keywords: short stories; Lygia Fagundes Telles; feminine condition.

Abstract: Framed in the center of the production identified as “literature of the returnees”, the main focus of Ana de Amsterdam (2016a) by Ana Cássia Rebelo, does not lie in the traumatic images of the return or in the violence practiced between colonizers and colonized, as it is usually the case in this genre. Somehow, even symptomatically, African memories are sporadic in the five-year-old girl who left Mozambique with her family. Instead, the exuberance of a Portuguese India, dreamed and projected by her, occupies the gaps of an unsatisfactory present, dividing herself to raise three children of a marriage in crisis and work in the bureaucratic employment situated in an unattractive Lisbon. In both, Portuguese Goa and on the way to work, narratives of women emerge and represent the synthesis between Ana’s private diary and the testimonial writing of the diaspora. In a first part of the study, the genesis of the novel is recovered in the form of a blog signed by the author, emphasizing the “writing of the self”, in the molds of autobiographies, journals and etc. The second moment turns to the testimonial writing in the basis of the postcolonial narrative and also of the post-memory. In common, the two plans deal with the feminine perspective, whether in the contemporary battle of cosmopolitan Lisbon or in the silenced developments of postcolonialism, in the middle of the duplicate stories of so many Anas. Keywords: Ana de Amsterdam; Ana Cássia Rebelo; diary; testimonial literature; blogs.

Participants were 202 undergraduates from India who finished the humor Styles Questionnaire, the Narcissistic Personality Inventory, the Self-Report Psychopathy Scale, and the MACHIV. Results intimated that member who scored higher on sub-clinical psychopathy and Machiavellianism exhibited a more inclination to utilise negative humor styles (self-defeating and aggressive). whereas, individuals who got higher scores on narcissism were progressively inclined to have a preference toward affiliative humor or style and self-enhancing humor style and they negatively correlated with negative humor styles. The study was conducted to help understand the personality traits of individuals with various genre of humor and help to explain the nature of the Dark Triad traits of personality. It said to shed light on the interpersonal styles employed by people who exhibit these attributes.

This article offers an analysis of the trope of ruin in the poetry of Aleksandr Kushner (born 1936), in particular through a close reading of two of his poems: “In a slippery graveyard, alone” and “Ruins”. The analysis of these poems is preceded by an overview of ruin philosophy from Burke and Diderot to Simmel and Benjamin, with particular emphasis on the way the trope of ruin contemplation stages a confrontation between the self and what transcends it (death, history, nature, etc.). This philosophical background serves as a heuristic tool to shed light on the poetry of Kushner. Through the trope of ruin, Kushner explores the legitimacy of poetic speech after the collapse of all meta-narratives. Kushner has no truck with Diderot's solipsism, nor with Hegel's bold narrative of progress, nor with Simmel's peaceful reconciliation with the creative forces of nature. Nor, really, does he intend to bear witness to history, the way Benjamin does in the faint anticipation of some miracle. Instead, Kushner posits the endurance of a community united not around a grand project, but around the idea of carrying on in the face of everything, muddling through despite the lack of hopes for a transformational future and making the most of fleeting moments of positivity that emerge out of the fundamental serendipity of history.

In examining the development of Tsvetaeva's lyric verse, it is possible to discern a recurrent thematic strain: a rejection by the poet of the conventional roles imposed on the individual by society, particularly certain characteristics of the feminine role. I will try to show that Tsvetaeva, in the process of rejecting, via her poetry, this key ingredient in a person's self-concept—namely, the sex role as defined by society—along with a rejection of other limiting social norms, developed images of the self that transcend social roles. Moreover, the working out of this poetic identity is not continuous but falls into several chronological stages. In discussing a poet's self, critical method prescribes that a distinction be maintained between the individual and the poetic persona. Without negating this methodological stricture, it is important to keep in mind that for some poets an adequate interpretation requires one to perceive that the persona is an elaborate poetic projection and mythologization of the individual.

- The article directly refers to the revision of some basic concepts of Jungian thought, (archetypes as psychic organizers, the discussion on the relationship between intra-psychic vs. inter-subjective, the notion of psychic contagion, the concepts of psychoid and synchronicity), and to the most recent post-Jungian research (the archetypes as image schemata, by Knox, the emergent psychic development by Cambray, or the defences of the Self, by Kalshed). Referring to these themes, it is possible to connect some contributions coming from psycho-analysis to some possible mechanisms of inter-generational transmission. The Jungian perspective on psychological trauma (present conflict, dissociation and regression, adaptation) may give an important contribution to shed light on the fact based on clinical observations that beyond the direct effects of trauma which are directly felt by the person, the latter's mental life may be deeply affected and tied to traumatic events and contents which do not involve him directly, as they belong to previous generations.

English
Involvement of farmers as actors to support extension activities have been underway for a long time with various approaches. In Indonesia, it started from the involvement of Kontak Tani (Advanced Farmers) in Supra Insus era, then farmer to farmer extension at P4S, as well as Penyuluh Swakarsa (Independent Extension Workers)” (in 2004), and the latest is Penyuluh Swadaya (Self-Help Agricultural Extension Workers) since 2008. The existence of self-help farmer extension workers are recognized since the enactment of Law No. 16/2006 on Extension System of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries. However, even though it runs nearly 10 years, the development of the role of self-help farmer extension workers is not optimal. This paper is a review of various posts including the recent research on self-help farmer extension workers and it aims to study the potential and problems of self-help farmer extension workers. It shows that the self-help farmer extension workers have a self-help capabilities and distinctive social position and they have to get right role. Appropriate support should be given to self-help farmer extension workers as the agricultural extension worker in the future and it must be distinguished between the government and private extension workers.
