Statement of the problem. The relevance of the study is determined by the social order of modern society for the training of students who are able to quickly adapt to changing environment, apply the knowledge gained in practice, and be active in mastering educational material. All of this can be achieved with the help of interdisciplinary academic courses that contribute to the achievement of metadisciplinary results required by the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education. The pedagogical experiment was aimed at testing and evaluating the effectiveness of this method. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for teaching an interdisciplinary course in Ecology in the 5th–9th grades of a secondary school and to experimentally prove its efficacy. The research methodology consists of the analysis and synthesis of normative legal documents in the field of basic general education, scientific works of foreign and Russian scientists, experience in teaching Ecology in the 5th–9th grades. Research results. An interdisciplinary academic course in Ecology for the 5th–9th grades was developed and tested, the indicators of qualitative and quantitative performance of students before and after studying the course were analyzed. Conclusion. The interdisciplinary academic course in Ecology for the 5th–9th grades includes elements of N.B. Shumakova’s interdisciplinary teaching methodology and the following integrated concepts: system, science, force, adaptation, and interconnection. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the proof that interdisciplinary interaction in a general education institution allows achieving meta-disciplinary educational results that increase the quality of academic performance.

В статье поднимается актуальный вопрос о необходимости формировании медиаобразовательной среды школы в условиях цифровизации образования в контексте новых федеральных государственных образовательных стандартов общего образования. Дается обзорное определение понятиям «образовательная среда», «медиобразование» и «медиаобразовательная среда». Научной новизной статьи является рассмотрение новых подходов к развитию образовательной среды общеобразовательной школы. Предлагается модель медиаобразовательной среды и основные условия для ее формирования: организационно-педагогические, материально-технические, кадровые, финансовые и др., в том числе сетевое взаимодействие, возможности формирования медиаобразовательной среды с использованием ресурсного обеспечения «Точек Роста» − центров образования цифрового, естественнонаучного, технического и гуманитарного профилей в сельских школах, реализуемых в рамках федерального проекта «Современная школа». Приводится положительный региональный опыт создания медиаобразовательной среды в системе общего образования на примере Томской области. The article raises an urgent question about the need to form a media educational environment of a school in the context of digitalization of education in the context of new federal state educational standards of general education. An overview definition of the concepts of "educational environment", "media education" and "media educational environment" is given. The scientific novelty of the article is the consideration of new approaches to the development of the educational environment of a secondary school. The model of the media educational environment and the main conditions for its formation are proposed: organizational, pedagogical, logistical, personnel, financial, etc., including networking, the possibility of forming a media educational environment using the resource provision of "Points of Growth− - centers of education of digital, natural science, technical and humanitarian profiles in rural schools implemented within the framework of the federal project "Modern School". The positive regional experience of creating a media educational environment in the general education system is given on the example of the Tomsk region.

The paper discusses one of the most important issues for educational process organization while teaching Biology at secondary school educational and methodological support and its main component a course book. The authors prove the urgency of this problem as school teachers face a great choice of Biology course books. The paper also contains a brief overview how the notion course book developed in Russia. The authors have given a modern interpretation of the notion course book taking into account the Federal State Educational Standards of General Education. Particular attention is paid to considering the structure of the course book. The specificity of a Biology course book for secondary schools is characterized. The authors have also revealed some variability of Biology course books for 57 grades of secondary schools in modern conditions when there are two federal lists of school textbooks. The reasons for the existing difficulties in the choice of a Biology course book by school Biology teachers are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the criteria for a comparative analysis of the content of Biology course books for secondary schools. The authors have also revealed a degree of completeness of Biology courses with various components for grades 57. The presented materials can be used by school teachers while teaching a Biology course at a secondary school.

The basic concepts of innovation activity are considered from the standpoint of the development of modern Russian education. It is shown that innovation activity is a mandatory direction of effective implementation of the main functions of a general education institution. The activity of the school-laboratory of innovative development in its diversity is analyzed and summarized. The specific experience of functioning of federal and regional innovation platforms operating on the basis of an educational organization is presented. We disclose the goals and main tasks of each platform, the topics of innovation projects and programs implemented on their basis. The main problems are identified, which are solved in the process of activity of innovation platforms. As an example, we analyze the specific activity of an educational institution in the field of innovation mechanisms for achieving subject, meta-subject, personal educational results of students in the context of the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard of General Education, the development of the housing and educational movement in the system of continuing education of the Tambov Region and the development of intra-institutional education quality assessment sys-tems.

The series of publications was prepared on the basis of a teaching manual addressed to 10th grade schoolchildren of schools studying the integrative course “Social Studies” (section “Man and Society”), and is a set of materials for independent work. The content of the manual fully meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards of Basic General Education and work programs for secondary (complete) education in social studies. The presented theoretical and practical material reveals the main aspects of social life: the essence and functional characteristics of consciousness and activity, ideas about society and social institutions as a system, types of societies, views on culture as a cumulative spiritual experience and “collective memory”, its main institutions — science, religion, morality, education, art. Particular attention is paid to the definition of social progress and global problems of mankind.

The article discusses the problem of obtaining reliable information about the level of educational achievements of junior schoolchildren during their transition to the next stage of school education. The implementation of the development goals of students at the initial stage of schooling, set by the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education, requires pedagogical diagnostics, which makes it possible to establish the cause of the difficulties that children have in the course of studying various subjects. This ensures the timely intervention of the teacher in the learning process to provide each younger student with pedagogical assistance and support, which makes it possible to eliminate the individual difficulties that arise in him.

The article discusses the problem of the formation of functional literacy of primary schoolchildren as the main learning outcome that meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education. The article reveals the characteristics of the concept of “functional literacy”, which includes two groups of achievements of a younger student - subject and metasubject. The reader gets acquainted with the widespread pedagogical “mistakes” of the teacher, as well as the difficulties that children face in the learning process. The main types of educational activity are determined, which to the greatest extent contribute to the formation of functional literacy of primary schoolchildren, which primarily include search and research activities.

Beginning of the 21st century - the time of rapid changes. In 2009-2010 in Russian Education has been approved new federal state educational standards for elementary and general education. The basis of the Standard is a systemic-activity approach. The main need is to develop content and technology of education, determine the ways and means to achieve the level of personal and cognitive development of students. Systemic-activity approach as a methodological principle determines the need to study the content of any school subject as a system. Especially the great importance realization of systemic-activity approach gets into natural science education. Realization of systemic-activity approach, which provides a guaranteed achievement of planned results, is possible in applying various educational tech-nologies in science education. The scientific-methodical journal “Natural Science Education” invites the scientists and teachers to take part in discussion of problems of natural science education.
