The study aimed at show the impact of poverty and unemployment in the threat of members of society, by discussing the concept of unemployment, and following the verses of the Qur'an and Sunah in addressing the unemployment crisis as one of the most important threats to society and showing ways to remedy it, and that the problem of unemployment is one of the global economic problems facing societies and has repercussions on life and all its aspects, and based on the spread of the unemployment crisis in our time, the researcher addressed the topic of "unemployment crisis and ways to remedy it from an Islamic perspective" , where the first topic was about" The definition of unemployment in the language and terminology", the second topic: " unemployment causes and types in Islam", the third topic: " Islam's view of unemployment and the importance of work", and the fourth topic: Islam's attitude on unemployment and ways to handle it. The last topic, the researcher explained the results and the effects of the unemployment crisis on the individual and society, and she depended on inductive and inferential method in showing and solving this problem through adherence to the divine approach in its treatment, and find ways to reduce its prevalence. The researcher came up with the most important recommendations. The research recommended the need for the state to adopt the idea of small enterprises and handicrafts that contribute solve unemployment and maintain social security among the segments of society, asking sharia to master the work regardless of its nature because of the serious negative effects of unemployment on the Muslim community Some of the most important results of the research are as follows - The spread of unemployment and poverty among segments of society increases crime and delinquency among members of society. - Spreading awareness of the importance of zakat as it is an essential pillar of Islam, and taking care of its performance to fight unemployment. - Spreading awareness of the importance of work regardless of its nature, because unemployment has serious negative effects on the Muslim community.

The overlap between one innovative paradigm (P4 medicine: predictive, personalized, participatory and preventive) and another (a new definition of “Healthy ageing”) is fertile ground for new technologies; a new mobile application (app) that could broaden our scientific knowledge of the ageing process and help us to better analyse the impact of possible interventions in slowing the ageing decline. A novel mobile application is here presented as a game including questions and tests will allow in 10 minutes the assessment of the following domains: robustness, flexibility (lower muscle strength), balance, mental and memory complaints, semantic memory and visual retention. This game is completed by specific measurements, which could allow establishing precise information on functional and cognitive abilities. A global evaluation precedes advice and different types of exercises. The repetition of the tests and measures will allow a long follow up of the individual performances which could be shared (on specific request) with family members and general practitioners.

Abstract The individual differences among the polymorphic regions of the cytokine genes involved in the pathogenesis of myeloma have been investigated by various groups: Neben et al have found the TNF238 A allel to be associated with a higher serum level of TNF-alpha and with better response to Thalidomide. The IL 10-1082 G promoter gene genotype have been found to be associated with high secretory pattern and in increased frequency among myeloma patients compared to normal controls by Zheng et al. Van Ness et al have reported the IL-10-G genotype to be associated with shorter survival compared to IL-10-A allele carriers None of these groups have analyzed the impact of these genotypes on age of onset. With an aim to analyze the association between the frequencies of the cytokines known to be important in the pathogenesis of Myeloma, TNF-alpha, IL-6, IL-10 and the age of diagnosis, we have isolated DNA from peripheral blood of 59 patients. Patients with a median age of 56(28–83)M/F:35/24 diagnosed and treated in our center between 2002–2004 were analyzed. To determine the TNF 238 and 308(G/A), IL-6 174(G/C), IL-10 1082(G/A),819(T/C) and 592(A/C) bp polymorphic allele frequencies Cytokine Genotyping Kit (Pel-Freeze) and/or Cytgen (OneLambda) Genotyping Trays have been used. Evaluation of results were done as described in the worksheets. Interpretation and definition of phenotypes(low and high secretory patterns) were based on the previously published reports. 30 patients(50,8%) were younger than 56 (median=the cutoff:56). TNF-A homozygous alelle couldnot be observed among all patients. The frequencies of all alleles were: TNF-alfa308A, TNF-alfa238A, IL-10 1082 G 20%, 20%, 12% respectively. IL-6 -GG/GC alleles which have been linked with high secretory pattern constituted the majority of the patients(58/59). When TNFalfa-A were detected based on the 238 bp reactivity the association of low phenotype with elder age was remarkable(p=0.019). This finding wasnot valid for the 308 bp location. IL-10 phenotypes were more complicated with an accumulation in the intermediate level of secretion. The impact of TNF was varified with the separate evaluation of this group, based on their TNF-238/308 genotype, p=0.031). Conclusion: There is a trend towards younger age of onset in Myeloma. Genetic factors for susceptibility have not been defined yet. The new tools for detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms have a promising role in this field. In our prospective study we have found a predominance of low IL-10 secretory A genotype and the high secretory TNF-A genotype among patients younger than 56. To our knowledge this is the first report on such an association. Investigation of other genes in linkeage with TNF on the neighboring MHC region may be necessary for understanding myeloma pathogenesis. In the post-September 11, 2001 period, Muslims living in the Canadian National Capital Region (CNCR) have undergone various challenges at both the individual and community level. This study examines the extent to which the Muslim community in the CNCR has been able to maintain its religious identification, while at the same time adhere to Canadian social values and lifestyle, particularly in the aftermath of 9/11. It commences with a général overview of the changing demographic characteristics of the Muslim community in the CNCR, and assesses the impact of 9/11 on Muslims. Subsequently, the role played by Muslim and non-Muslim institutions in assisting Muslims to adjust to the crisis is discussed, while stratégies are proposed for how Muslims can enhance their acculturation into Canadian society in the aftermath of 9/11.

SynopsisA considerable amount of research documents the negative effects of job loss on both physical and mental health. Yet we know comparatively little about the mechanisms through which these effects occur. Unemployment, like other events, is not the same experience for everyone exposed to it. An understanding of this variation might be facilitated by breaking down the analysis of unemployment into a consideration of the various stresses that it creates or exacerbates. This is our purpose in the present paper. We demonstrate that, for one area of the United States, the effect of job loss on several health outcomes involves two mechanisms: (1) unemployment results in increased financial strain which, in turn, results in negative health effects, and (2) unemployment leaves the individual more vulnerable to the impact of unrelated life events. Controlling for financial strain, unemployed people in our sample who have not experienced an additional life event in the previous year are in no worse health than the stably employed. This provides useful insights into the nature of the unemployment experience in this particular setting. It also provides a basis for future detailed explorations of the various ways people cope with this event.

This article examines the ‘republicanization’ of the Aveyron under the Third Republic, exploring issues of the practice and meaning of politics in this rural département. I look at the impact of the Republic's efforts to secularize education and ask on what grounds a département that emphatically rejected the secular/anti-clerical programme of the Republic could nonetheless eventually vote republican. This opens up questions of peasant understandings of politics. In particular I refer to the work of P. M. Jones who has written on this area, attributing republican success to the material benefits offered by the ‘milch-cow state’ and forceful administrative intervention. I argue that whilst the action of the Republic was significant, the success of the republicans rested on more than their ability to deliver local services. Republican politics in the Aveyron succeeded in redefining republicanism, arriving at an alternative conception of the Republic that was acceptable to the strongly Catholic and politicized electorate. We need to move away from any ideas of a single opportunist republicanism to realize that there were multiple conceptions of the Republic and a range of local republicanisms forged in relation to the circumstances of the individual French peripheries.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to draw on the theory of choice overload to examine how entrepreneurial tenure and involvement in entrepreneurial teams influence passion for engaging in entrepreneurship. Design/methodology/approach – A survey was administered to 262 Swedish hybrid entrepreneurs, which refers to individuals who engage in entrepreneurship while also maintaining wage work; this arrangement is becoming more and more common in the Nordic economies. Hypotheses proposed associations between the entrepreneurial tenure (the length of engagement in the side business) and entrepreneurial teams (leading the business with one or more team members) with passion for entrepreneurship. Logistic regression was used to test the hypotheses. Findings – Results from logistic regression support the hypotheses with three findings: the longer the individual has had the side business, the less likely passion to be the main motive behind entrepreneurship; passion is less likely to be the main motive behind entrepreneurship among those who are part of an entrepreneurial team; and, involvement in an entrepreneurial team strengthens the negative association between entrepreneurial tenure and passion for entrepreneurship. Research limitations/implications – The data are limited to the creative sector in Sweden and to the hybrid entrepreneurship context. Practical implications – The results support the impact of choice overload and the notions that entrepreneurship passion will decrease the longer the business is up running and if the venturing occurs with another team member. In practice, this means that interventions for re-kindling passion in entrepreneurship should focus on dealing with choice overload under conditions of long-term tenure and team-funded ventures. If entrepreneurs want to maintain high levels of passion, quick and isolated entrepreneurial processes reduce the choice overload that may threaten maintaining a high passion for entrepreneurship. Originality/value – This study is the first to apply choice theory to an entrepreneurship context and to find support for possible negative effects of choice overload on passion for entrepreneurship.

Based on an analysis of selected definitions of the terms used for society and culture, the author creates the sociological theoretical framework for the article. In conjunction with the characterized phenomenon of digital transformation, extensive and far-reaching conclusions are formulated on the impact of new technology for postmodernity. In relation to the scientific achievements of Buber and Tischner, the author deeply analyzes the assumptions of philosophy of dialogue. This allows the observation of a wide dimension in the relationship between the relational nature of social relations, the condition of the individual, the durability of the systems humans create, the technocratic direction of civilizational development and the consumerist attitude to reality in contemporary society of the 21st century. The author describes technological worship and presents the negative consequences of digital transformation processes. On the example of the service sector, the transition is presented as symbolic culture based on the relations and dialogue with technical and functional culture. The research method used in the article is a review of the scientific literature. In the study, the author set the goal of determining the impact of digital transformation on humans in the context of the definition of culture and society. As a result of the research, the author states that technological insight (i.e. looking at technology as a way of resolving all contemporary problems) has the danger of successively weakening man, and could lead to a deepening of social inequalities. The author also emphasizes the need to deepen research on the consequences of the digital transformation on society and culture and to develop models that can reduce the negative consequences of the change process.

The article is devoted to the current issue of sexuality. Significant expansion and development of psychologists’ professional activity necessitate creating of generalized classification of individuals and married couples’ behavioral erotic types. The destruction of self-reflection, self-perception and the difficulty of interpersonal understanding are due to the substitution of concepts. The study of sexual-psychological characteristics of behavioral patterns of women in erotic relationships is very important in this regard. The new material on the topic under study is generalized. Erotic imagination functions and erotic images impact on the process of forming a fixed erotic Image of a sexual partner in women are determined. The impact of early life experience (imprinting) influenced on the individual erotic code formation is determined. Several motivational schemes of sexual behavior are described. Authors submit the definition of «individual erotic code» for the first time. «Individual erotic code» is found out as the unified recording system of the individual model erotic behavior and her «ideal partner» reactions on this behavior. The types of women individual erotic code, based on the concept of archetypes (K.G. Jung, D. S. Bolen) study are defined. Types of individual erotic code were named after the ancient Greek goddesses: Artemis, Athena, Hestia, Hera, Demeter, Persephone, Aphrodite. The attention is focused on the deep analysis of individual women erotic code stages realization, such as, the genesis of erotic impulse, the tempting process, the sexual act behavior, the pregnancy, the caring of posterity. Materials of research can be used in the practical work of psychologists and psychotherapists which working both with married couples, as well as in individual work with the client.

The Down syndrome (DS) is the well-known trisomy, which is caused by additional copy ofchromosome 21.There are three types of DS. First, fully trisomy (47,XY,+21or 47,XX,+21).Second, translocation DS which result as translocation between chromosome 14 and21(46,XY,trans (14:21) or (46,XX,trans (14:21)). And the third type the mosaic DS that two celllines present in the individual. Mostly, studies indicate that frequency of each type 95%, 4% and1% respectively. Our study aims to estimate the frequency of each of the three types of DSchromosomal abnormalities in Iraqi samples. Chromosomal analysis using G-band technique wasperformed for 200 Down syndrome cases and 168 of their parents (whenever there were mosaicDS cases their parents were submitted chromosomal analysis). Fifty-seven percentage of caseswere fully Trisomy, forty-three percentage of them were mosaic DS, and no translocation patternwas recorded. The maternal ages were between 25-45 for the mosaic DS mothers. According tothis study, the frequency of mosaic DS was varied. It seems more investigations need to be donefor larger number of DS, and the impact of environmental changes in last decades need to bestudied more to be sure of its role in increasing of the proportion of this type of Down syndrome.
