Geometry is a mathematical science that studied points, lines, planes, spaces, and the relationships of them. One of the topic is geometric transformation. The Several research found that students hadn’t understood the concept of transformation, so that it needed a teaching material especially student’s worksheet. The research aimed to develop valid, practical and effective student’s worksheet with GeoGebra on the geometry transformation in junior high school. The research method was used R&D (Research and Development) using a modification of the 4-D model. The development model consists defined, designed and developed. The results of the research indicated that (1) this product was valid according to media experts and material experts, (2) it was practical, (3) effective to be used in mathematics learning, especially geometric transformation.

This research  aims to developing a cartoon-based mathematics learning media to reduce students' anxiety. The resulting product is a cartoon-based mathematics learning media using macromedia flash software for grade VII students of  SMP on social arithmetic material. This research uses  4D research and development method,  proposed  by Thiagarajan consisting of  4 stages: (1) define or define; (2) design or design; (3) develop or development  and (4) disseminate or  disseminate.  Researchers  use qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. This research uses data collection techniques which are based on a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale for student response and student anxiety. The result of the research is a cartoon-based mathematics learning media which is suitable for learning media to decrease students' anxiety.  The feasibility of  instructional media resulting from material experts and media experts is valid and worthy of use as a medium of learning. The students’ response to the learning media obtained in  small  group test  is very interesting with the average  score  of  3.52. In the large group test obtained, the criteria of attractiveness is very interesting with an average score of 3.41. Levels of students’anxiety after the use of learning media have decreased, ie in the high anxiety category it has decreased from 41% to 0%, in the medium anxiety category it has decreased fom 35% to 24%, in the low anxiety category it has changed from 24% to 76%.

This study aims to produce the monograph of the simulation and visualization of 2D and 3D wave on the circular membrane with Scilab Software for Physics and Physics Education students. The research method used was experimental research which produced a reference book in the form of a research monograph. This monograph was validated by physics education lecturers, educators, and physics education students. Data collection techniques were carried out by collecting questionnaires in the form of expert validation sheets (material and media), educator / lecturer response sheets, and student response sheets. The data obtained from the validation test are in the form of a percentage of the validity of the monograph from the validation of two material experts and two media experts, the average score are 91% and 90%. The monograph test by three educators and the response test by 15 students the average score are 89% and 88%. The results of the validation test of the material expert, media expert, educators response, and the response of the students are the very good so that it can be concluded that the monograph product can be used as a learning media in the form of reference books in vibration and wave learning.

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the fact that the ability of mathematical communication in Indonesia is low. The models and approaches used in the learning process are one of the supporting factors for learning mathematics in the classroom. This study aimed to analyze SMA 1 Namlea students' mathematical communication skills with realistic mathematics learning assisted by GeoGebra. The research method used is quasi-experimental. WHO researched SMA Negeri 1 Namlea, Buru Regency. The analysis results show that the test instrument is valid and reliable to be used for pretest and posttest. The results showed that the mathematical communication of students who received realistic mathematics learning assisted by GeoGebra was better than students who received realistic mathematics learning without GeoGebra. The results also showed that there was a positive response from students towards learning realistic mathematics with GeoGebra.KEYWORDS: Realistic Mathematics, GeoGebra & Mathematical Communication
