This research  aims to developing a cartoon-based mathematics learning media to reduce students' anxiety. The resulting product is a cartoon-based mathematics learning media using macromedia flash software for grade VII students of  SMP on social arithmetic material. This research uses  4D research and development method,  proposed  by Thiagarajan consisting of  4 stages: (1) define or define; (2) design or design; (3) develop or development  and (4) disseminate or  disseminate.  Researchers  use qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. This research uses data collection techniques which are based on a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale for student response and student anxiety. The result of the research is a cartoon-based mathematics learning media which is suitable for learning media to decrease students' anxiety.  The feasibility of  instructional media resulting from material experts and media experts is valid and worthy of use as a medium of learning. The students’ response to the learning media obtained in  small  group test  is very interesting with the average  score  of  3.52. In the large group test obtained, the criteria of attractiveness is very interesting with an average score of 3.41. Levels of students’anxiety after the use of learning media have decreased, ie in the high anxiety category it has decreased from 41% to 0%, in the medium anxiety category it has decreased fom 35% to 24%, in the low anxiety category it has changed from 24% to 76%.

This research uses classroom action research. The purpose of this study is to improve students' speaking ability in the learning process by using the speaking media card. Implementation of this research is conducted three cycles, each sisklus lasted for two meetings. Subjects in this study were students class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 27 Lamasi, which amounted to 28 people. In this research used qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Qualitative data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. While quantitative data is analyzed by using statistic in the form of mean calculation (mean). The results of this study indicate that the average score of students' speaking skills increases in each cycle. In the first cycle with an average score of 2.03, it increases in cycle II with an average value of 3.18, and increasing again in cycle III, whose average value is 3.75. The conclusion of this research is by using the time token arends model hence speaking skill of class V student Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 27 Lamasi can increase.

Learning mathematics in elementary school is expected to adjust to the cognitive development of students. Abstract mathematical concepts make students need help to understand them. This study aims to develop mathematics learning media geometry for 4th grade elementary school students. This development research uses the Borg & Gall research model which was carried out to the seventh stage, namely research and information collecting, planning, developing preliminary form a product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, and operational product revision. Product trials were conducted at Ngablak Public Elementary School. Data collection instruments were using a questionnaire. The questionnaire used to assess the appropriateness of the media was an expert validation assessment sheet, while the teachers’ assessment sheet and students’ response questionnaire were used to determine the practicality of the product. The validation results from the experts obtained that the Magic Geometry media was declared very appropriate to be used in learning mathematics with an average score of 4.45. The results of the teacher practicality assessment were stated to be very practical with a score of 4.9 and the student’s response questionnaire received an average score of 4.2 with a practical category. The results of the student response questionnaire also showed that Magic Geometry made learning becomes more interesting and materials easier to understand.

This study aims to describe the process and learning outcomes through the use of song creation Minangkabau in improving the ability to speak the child's mother. This research is conducted in TK Nurul Hidayah., Bukittinggi- West Sumatra in January until February 2017. The subjects were students group B were 17 children. This study uses research methods Action research, from comprising: a) planning, b) actions and observations, c) reflection. Conducted over 16 sessions that are divided into two cycles. Data was collected through tests, observations, interviews and documentation study. Data analysis techniques used in this research is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative data analysis used to determine the percentage of children's ability to speak their mother tongue after the action. the results showed an increase in children after learning to use the song Minangkabau creations. pre-actions are performed to determine the percentage of children's mother tonge by 47, 43%, increased to 68.38% after the cycle for the First, and increased to 87, 50% after the second cycle. The ability to speak their mother tongue can be developed through the use of song creation Minangkabau, where the song creations Minangkabau can attract children to use their imagination so that he is able to express ideas. Minangkabau creations song is a fun activity for young children.
